• W2K & Flash install - SetDllDirectoryW is not found in the KERNEL32.dll dynamic link library.

  fully patched W2000 SP4 - try to install or update flash adobe gives "the procedure point SetDllDirectoryW entry is not found in the dynamic library KERNEL32.dll." said ths for both FF and IE versions of the flash Installer... it just started recently... at least since the beginning of 2012... mcafee or norton stuff has never been near this box... This is (vascular) limited to install or update flash...

  NOTE: had to choose ' Other/unknown' for windows option version in these forums, because some spark deletion of the option "Windows 2000":? :(

  I could not download updates for various components of Windows Vista for a few weeks, 8. My last successful updates were:

  -Update for Windows Vista KB3164035 - July 2, 2016

  -Cumulative Security Update for Explorer 9 for Windows Vista KB3160005 - July 2, 2016

  I downloaded the Windows Malicious Software Removal Tool KB890830 on August 10, 2016, but all other attempts to download the updates failed.

  I read the post of Sumit Dhiman began on November 19, 2015, referring to reset the Windows updates and might inquire if it is applicable to Windows Vista? If not, what is the potential solution for Vista? If it is applicable, so how do I download the script that Sumit mentioned that leads ultimately to a WuReset.zip who will then be extracted to a file WuReset.bat?

  Salvation according to RFC 952 and RFC 1123, which explain the rules for host names line of underscore (_) is not allowed in the host name.

• Microsoft Solitaire problem daily challenges with Klondike on July 19, 2014

  The expert level Microsoft lonely daily challenge for July 19, 2014 has a glitch. The goal of the challenge of the Klondike is to place two jacks on the Foundation within 85 shots, but the counter above is registered not when plugs are on the Foundation at all. I've never met a problem before with Microsoft Solitaire daily challenges, and there I am working on Windows 8 on a HP Pavilion.

  Managed to find a machine 8.1 to play on, and it worked, so I guess that's the issue. [Maybe a new version of the app?]

• July 25 Klondike daily Challenge is not winnable.

  Any who fought on 25 July the daily challenge of the Klondike in the Collection of Microsoft Solitaire? I'm 90 short points with no way to do it.

  You can win by pulling back all played for the batteries, and you will find that you can also discover hidden cards.  Then, you can have all the cards face upwards and the projection of button "solve" and a score of zero.  Click on solve and you get a score of 520.

  It feels wrong, of course, but it works.  Stupid challenge.  It isn't all Klondike.

• I use Windows XP Professional. I heard that Microsoft will withdraw support for XP on July 13, 2010. But my software is stll update. Why?

  I thought that Microsoft stop updaing the software fom July 13, 2010. Now, think of Microsoft updates the part of the security of this software. Is it so?  The main problem is that updates are occupaying space of a part of 'C' for my computer very quickly. How to handle the problem?

  Windows XP SP2 support ends July 13, 2010. Extended support for WinXPSP3 will continue through April 8, 2014.

• 10.11.6 and Microsoft Office is not well

  Since the upgrade to 10.11.6, Microsoft Office does not work on my computer. I use Outlook and Excel almost everyday as well as Word and Powerpoint, and none of them will start even on my computer. Try to open the program a pop up comes up saying that the application cannot open and can be a developer issue. Everyone knows about this problem?
