Everything I print is with no margin at the top of the page.

HP Officejet Pro 8600, Windows XP, from a MAC using remote access. When I print invoices the margin at the top is equal to zero, so my company name and the name of the customer is too high to show through the broadcast window. I also try to print 1099 forms and information high 1099 is printing too high while 1099 background information are perfect. By aligning the top to print below also compensates for low as if the top print well, the background is too low. I've set to zero without change of scale.

Try the F4400 driver. If that one doesn't work, try the driver of 4500. Let me know what happens.

    Hey!

You can do it like this:

    var myPage = app.activeWindow.activePage;var myMargins = myPage.marginPreferences;if(app.selection.length){    app.selection[0].geometricBounds = [myPage.bounds[0]+myMargins.top,myPage.bounds[1]+myMargins.left,myPage.bounds[2]-myMargins.bottom,myPage.bounds[3]-myMargins.right];}else{    myPage.textFrames[0].geometricBounds = [myPage.bounds[0]+myMargins.top,myPage.bounds[1]+myMargins.left,myPage.bounds[2]-myMargins.bottom,myPage.bounds[3]-myMargins.right];}

I want to convert a ppt file to pdf format with two blades on the page, rather than a slide page. I can do this with a printer. How do I do this with pdf pack?

    Hi sandyd,.

When you convert PowerPoint to PDF via Adobe PDF Pack, it will convert each slide in the deck to a page in the PDF file. Unfortunately, there is no way to change this.

  • When I print, the printer sounds like its printing but nothing comes out on the page. What should do?

I just installed an hp F4480 printer, my roommate gave me.  My OS is Windows XP.  When I try and print or copy something the printer looks like it's printing and the paper passes by like it is printing but nothing comes out on the page.  Perhaps is out of ink, I guess, but I don't know how to say and I don't want to spend $50 to get a new non-refundable ink cartridge to see.  I did a print test page and the only thing that came out was a light that said the Page of Test printer Windows XP Blue cap but nothing else was on the page.

It's really a problem of HP, not a Windows problem, and you should look for the HP Support help site.

    However...

One of the lights on the printer are flashing?  There are 2 'estimated ink level lights' on the front panel.  See http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/document?docname=c01673672&tmp_track_link=ot_faqs/top_issues/en_us/c01673672/loc:3 & cc = us & dlc = en & lang = en & lc = en & product = 3742086

Genuine HP ink cartridges are installed?  The cartridges have been completed?  How long did it that the printer is correctly printed?

When you installed the printer, you have installed the "HP Toolbox" application (or you simply download and install the basic printer driver)?  See http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/document?docname=c01892627&tmp_task=solveCategory&cc=us&dlc=en&lang=en&lc=en&product=3742086#N44

    Hi, good evening:

I use a Microsoft XP and HP Envy 4500 printer:

But I also need to change the default margin software adobe reader in order to remove the margin, but I can not change, software adobe reader have to a margin default that I can't "delete" (see picture 2)

P.D.: I use adobe reader version 11, where there is no button "borderless printing.

    Help me please...

    Hey @Helen23,

Welcome to the HP forums! I hope you enjoy your stay here.

I see that you encounter some problems with the removal of the margins when printing a PDF file on your PC Windows XP of Adobe Reader your urge to 4500. I can help you with that.

To give us an idea of what the issue may be what we will do is to create a document in Word Pad and see if we can remove the margins before printing. If you can print without margins to Win Pad, then it means that Adobe Reader is something to print on your computer settings. If this is the case then I uninstall all software from 4500 desire on your computer, uninstall Adobe Reader and then reinstall Adobe Reader software and our drivers. You can download our drivers by clicking on this link.

If you are unable to change the margin settings in Adobe then then I would contact Adobe for support.

I hope that helps you print your PDF documents and I hope you have a great weekend!

If this resolve that your problem then please let others know by clicking on accept as Solution on my post.

If you appreciate my help, click the icon below my post thumbs up.

  • Everything I print has 'project' a watermark on the printed page. Laser Jet 1525NW

I have a 3 years Laser Jet CP1525NW which was impeccably print wirelessly through my Dlink roulter since I bought it. This happens only when I have my MacBook pro pring: each page print has the word 'PROJECT' watermark across the page.  I deleted all the HP & drivers software and re-installed. Interestingly, if I print from my iPhone or PC to my wife I don't get the "DRAFT" watermark I checked and I have disabled in the watermarks print menu. If I print on my HP LaserJet P1006 from my MacBook Pro it does not print the watermark of project.  Any ideas out there?

I did a little research and I saw where someone had a similar problem.  They went to the updates of the software to the Mac section and are an update of the HP Utility software that controls the printer.  This update has managed to solve the problem of watermark.

I don't know if an update is available for you, but may be a possible solution.  I would like to know if there are any software updates available for your HP Utiliity.

  • does not print in the margins of the pages smaller

    HP Officejet Pro 8000 A809

    Windows 7 32 bit

    Word Perfect X 5

I have a custom labels page size (4.2 "wide). Impression of WP, sometimes it works perfectly. At other times, it prints as if the page of the label was to 8.5 x 11, and the labels on the right side of the page. I stopped and restarted the printer, run the utility of diagnostic on it (not), close and restart WP, tested on 8.5 "x 11" and found nothing that works. I can't put my labels on the right side of the tray paper because the bars automatically centers the document.

I have the newest firmware, software and the complete software package installed.

    Any help?

Let me know what you find.

  • Change the margins for the pages to be linked to the book

Hello. I have a very large PDF file (~ 1700 pages) which is a combination of many .doc and .pdf files.

I want to print this large PDF document & link in a bound book, unfortunately when I created the word files I do not create a binding margin and select "mirror margins", so I don't have enough room for the binding.

I was looking for a way to do this is Adobe.  I noticed the option of scaling in the print dialog box, but this can evolve towards the Center, & I want that she shifted on the right or left (depending on even or odd pages).

Do anyone know how I can accomplish this task, I just want to shrink the pages by approximately 15% & offset on the side, alternating the sides of the odd and even pages, whereas I have a binding margin that fits in a hardcover binder.  Return & reformatting all of the Word are not an option, because it will probably take 100s of hours.

Any suggestions?   Thank you very much in advance for any help!

Work on a copy. I think you'll find that you can move to the left margin to the right for even pages and odd pages. If you want to maintain the proportions, you should be able to increase the upper and lower margins on all pages. Then to return to the same size paper, simply use the size option on the pages of the harvest. Keep in mind that harvest does not remove information normally, just of the cultures it display and printing.

Give it a try on a copy and see if it does the job. As far as I know that is the only choice you have Acrobat and it is not hard to do. If you wish, from a few pages (like 10) and play with those until you are comfortable.

I use 34.0.5 with Windows 7 and that you cannot print correctly. In print preview, it appears in a label size. I double checked all my settings in firefox and my preferences from the printer, I checked all the pages on firefox problems and still can not solve the problem.

I was able to finally solve the problem, but I had to do a complete reset of firefox. Thank you for your time.
