• display initial, intermediate and final conditions in an indicator

  I have two indicators, one aping a multicolor LED and the other a text string.  I use an event inside a while loop to monitor a push of button that triggers a response.

  At the beginning of the program, I want to put an initial condition for these two indicators for example the LED is off and string "to go". »

  As the program is running, the LED color changes and updates of string according to a logic.

  The program is tired of running it is account to 10 and decided to stop, affecting the LED and the chain to a timeout condition.

  In addition, the user can hit the stop button, in which case the LED and the chain show a stop condition.

  Problem is if I put the indicators on the registers on the left, I get the correct initial condition but to an incorrect final condition.  If I put the indicators on the right records, I'm getting correct finals but incorrect initial conditions.  How can I get the initial AND final conditions correct?

  A slap in the right direction would be much appreciated.

  Use the time-out period.  Using a registry to offset, you can set the time-out of the structure of the event to be 0 for the first iteration and -1 for all other iterations.  Yes, then you can update your indicators on the right.  In the case of the time-out period, it is just wire your straight through statutes.

• How to complete the action of the OK"" button.

  I am very new to LabVIEW and am not aware of a lot of simple things. Here's what I want to do...

  I want to change a complex VI (not written by me) and want to do a few simple things. There are several entries in my VI:

  (1) constant integers (take for example as "we LED time in seconds")

  (2) OK button (lock type) who starts to things (for example, switches on the LED and LED remain lit for the specified time.

  So, whenever one must press the OK button after entering the duration of start-up!

  Now, I would like to make a small update where I wish to enter a sequence (table 1 d) of the running time, which is good, but how to create a table of switching action OK?
  In my understanding of the OK switch is Boolean type Latch signal and I do not know how to escape manual several clicks on the OK button by some smart changes.

  Any support here will be very appreciable.

  NB. to give a better picture, I tried to create the VI for example virtual LED that I described above, but I have no measurable. Maybe I'm trying to jupm too fast

  You can only run your table in a loop FOR with just a simple press OK.  I hope that your help subVIs you don't have to duplicate the code.

• Beginner LabVIEW - XY graph and audio files

  I am very new to LabVIEW. I'm doing a program as follows:

  • The LabVIEW VI to simulate two temperatures of entry.
    • You can simulate each of them through a random number generator (be sure to keep the numbers in a temperature range of imaginary), or if you want to, by reading the values of a file.
  • The Panel should, at a minimum, instantly showing each temperature (e.g., using a digital display), a graph drawing each temperature with time and an indicator (for example an LED or the counter number) to show that the temperature has exceeded its threshold.

  Now I have the generator of random numbers and Boolean lights according to work properly. However, I recently added sound if the temperature drops too low (i.e. when the blue led shows) or too high (when the red lights). It works well, however, for some values sound custom ring, for others it will be. For example, three values in a line could show who are all under 16 years - the lower limit, the blue goes light on however the noise could only ring - its my default windows sound. Can anyone see anything wrong with it or offer me a solution?

  Then, the XY graph. I feel that I don't get the right settings in there. I want the number of seconds on axis through the temperature values on the x - y axis. The temperature values initially came out huge by default, I have not changed the name of the axis but theres no graphics if I resized the axis myself? In my view, that I've not connected properly maybe? Also I really think I have somewhere went wrong with my reading of axis x, maybe I have the wrong time function in the control panel? I amn't familiar with boolean or or how to define true/false?

  If I wanted to use 1 LED that could change in three different colours (red for high green, temperature temperature normal and blue for low temperatures), how can I do this?

  Finally, someone has suggestions for the user interface, to make it look a little more sophisticated?

  First of all, you want to work on both your temperature at the same time and display them in separate indicators.  Secondly, I am sure that your beeper goes with each temperature taken.  You want to put the tone within a business structure to make it sound when you have any out-of-range condition.

  So in the end, I'm sure you want a Setup like this.  I'll leave some work for you to do.  You are not nearly enough to pay me to do your work for you.

  

• Color RAW of JPEG v

  I had a shooting a few days and I used JPEG + RAW (NEF) setting on my camera. Now, I wanted to edit photos, so I made a new collection and imported from all the photos in Photoshop Lightroom v5.6. However, while JPEGs look the way I expect, those RAW looks much more aggressive/vivid as JPEG files. Please take a look at example provided led RGB Strip - purple in the upper right - it is supersaturated. The two images are intact samples, straight out of the camera.

  Why is it so?

  FYI, if I open the two images in the viewer of Windows, RAW photos, don't look so over-saturated plus. BTW, I'm usually shooting JPEGs, so I didn't notice it until now

  You describe two separate issues:

  (1) slight differences between JPEG rendering to LR raw file rendering camera.

  Try all profiles 'Camera' located in the Panel of Calibration of the camera under the 'profile '. You can create presets custom develop with specific profiles of camera and settings you prefer as a "starting point".

  (2) a known issue with the rendering of Adobe DNG of UV (purple light) light camera profile.

  Help with RAW files and custom white balance.

  It is a "unique" and different question. I think that the JPEG in camera has no clipping in the area of purple light which makes it darker with the raw file. As well as trying different profiles of 'Caméra' try to slightly lower Vibrance in the tone Panel and the increasing Saturation if necessary to maintain the other colors to the normal search.

• Page Firefox blocks, led busy, very low cpu on some sites. I have an example.

  Recently (possibly before v.41) pages Firefox hang with very low cpu on some sites.

  These LEDs are not controllable by the user. Your use of black tape is the solution.

• Satellite A300 - LED multimedia keys do not work if iTunes is reduced

  I own Satellite A300 - 1 9 (PSAJ4E).
  Is it possible to let the LED buttons multimedia "Play/Pause", "RW" and "FF" to work even if iTunes is reduced to a minimum?
  Atm because they work only when I actually work in iTunes and the moment where I reduce iTunes taskbar it blocks for play/pause, etc!

  I don't use iTunes and cannot comment on the functionality of the buttons with iTunes but I know it's Toshiba don't offer notebooks with pre-installed iTunes and these buttons are, by default, designed to work with Windows Media Player.

  You can use these buttons with other players, if possible, but Toshiba does not support the features with any other third party application. For example, I use these buttons with Winamp and everything works perfectly.

  In General, any external monitor is compatible.
  But the question is how do you want to connect the external monitor to the laptop

  For example the Satellite C650D - 10H supports the port external monitor (RGB port) only.
  If you need to use this port to connect the external monitor.

  It seems that the Hanns G HL195 18.5 inch widescreen LED monitor supports the VGA input, so you should be able to connect this monitor using normal VGA cable.

• Tecra 9000 - LED flashes and cannot start

  I recently got an old laptop Tecra 9000. Unfortunately, it doesn't have a HARD drive (it was taken and sacked by the former owner).

  I bought some hard drives that I thought should work in this machine, but all that seems to happen is that the power light blinks 7 times, pauses, then flashes once (and then repeat this.

  I guess it's an error code any.

  Readers, I've tried are a MK4025GAS and a MK4026GAX. The result is the same on both.

  Can we say what means this error, or even tell me the part number of a disk that is compatible with this machine?

  One question; have you tried to power the laptop without inserting the HARD drive?
  Usually if the laptop is ok, it should be possible to boot the laptop. Of course the laptop will not load the Windows operating system because the HARD drive is missing but it should be able to start and the led must Flash not!

  But if it flashes, it means that the fault was detected on the motherboard and the LED lamp sends a blink code.
  Short blinking means 0 and 1 long flashing
  Error code starts with LSB (least significant bit)
  for example:
  0000 0001-> 1000 0000

  This code you need to turn it into hex and you will get the error code.
  But in my opinion, no one will give you an answer what it means.
  Each laptop clean error code series offer...

• INSERT on X 240 key does not... for example when trying to use it with SHIFT-INSERT... why?

  The INSERT on my X 240 key does not work at all... either alone or jointly with another key like SHIFT - INSERT... Why?

  Press Fn + ESC to activate FnLock on and outside (for example make green LED come on and outside).

  As I explained previously, "Insert" is really "Fn - End" on X 240 keyboard.

  I checked it here, Shift-Insert works fine on X 240:

  • If FnLock is DISABLED, press Fn-shift-end
  
  
  • If FnLock is enabled, press SHIFT - end

  I tested in WordPad.

• How to run 4 LED in a circle

  I have a situation that uses a clock (called every 5 seconds).  When a timer is called, there are 4 LEDS which are in action. I have travel blick in a circluar for the next 5 seconds, and then the control is passed to another series of LED that performs the same operation.

  My question is, how can make a set of 4 leds blink and close way circluar (ONE IE 1, 2-ON-1 FARM, 3-ON-2 OFF, 4-on-3, Ontario - 4 OFF 1 OFF and so on). in such a way that they are visible to the user.

  This looks like a good application for arrays of LED control; You can find an example distributed with CVI, called ledctrlarray, or examples of application here or here

  Your existing timer would trigger, which is to launch a second "clock LED" operating at 5 / 4 = 1.25 s (or faster), so that each 1.25 s a LED is on and the last LED is off. You will also need a counter so that after one (or more) full circles the second timer and so the flashing is off again

• Control multiple LEDS with PWM

  I'm designing an application that sequencely 6 LEDs, lights each LED operaters in periods of 10 ms, and then are the rest of the time. To control the intensity of the LED in the 10 ms period I want to use a PWM signal.

  I'm building a control for a Laser machine which based its controls in the ActiveX control technology. I had a program in c# that works, but I have because I wanted to change the settings and then connect it to another program Labview, I "translate".

  I start with a very simple operation:

  1. 'Start' ActiveX Server
  
  
  2. "load" a design for the laser.
  
  
  3. program of the "end".

  and then based on event (using the reg event reminder):

  If the "QueryStart" laser signal is activated by a switch, then "run" program.

  If the laser "starts", then light a led

  If laser 'ends', then light a led.

  I have problems to light a led by using the ref (LaserStartedLed) VI. I'm using as a model the Labview example: CWKnob to see a number from the button. But in this case, they use the numbers from the button, in my case are just Boolean, and I try to get data from common event.

  Can you help me with other ideas and corrections?
