Excel - office 2007

Hello

We are now beginning to install Office 2007 in our computers with Windows XP. By checking the results with the change, we see that the discoverer Excel export is problematic. It does not preserve the layout of the report previously in Office 2003.

I checked the forum but can't seem to find a clear answer to this problem.

Thank you.
Leah

Hello

Macro settings is already set to "disable all macros with notification.

Change to "Enable all Macro" and then test it.

I'm working on XP with Excel 2007.

    Hello
I created reports using the plugin BI Publisher for Word 2007 and deployed through the Apex. Users with Office 2003 is installed get download the file without any compatibility issues. These users on Office 2007 get a warning as follows:

'The file you are trying to open.' filename.xls, is in a different format than specified by the file extension. Check that the file is not corrupted and precedes from a trusted source before you open the file. Do you want to open it now? "

The file will open and save, it's all just annoying to get this message every time. There are no problems when downloading the report to other formats.

It is a known problem... It is a "Fix" of Microsoft, to ensure that people know that the file is NOT a style true Blue XLS file... My office just to go through it and it is adjustable, but involves a registry setting that they do NOT HAVE want to impliment...

  • Update of Windows Live Essentials 2011 (KB2434419) beat Microsoft Office 2007

Immediately after the installation of Windows Live Essentials 2011 (KB2434419) through Windows Update on my Vista 32 system, Microsoft Office 2007 Ultimate invites to enter the license key code and starts the installation.  The normal template is gone/modified so that all the options of the program are returned to default original.  I saw this happen at two other PC's today so I know that this isn't an isolated incident.  Is asked for license key code in Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.  If I don't give the key code, a screen repsonds that installation has been cancelled; However, all the custom settings for the program were still missing.

In all these cases, the BONES and the Office have legitimate activated licenses is not the question.

Just noticed that Outlook lost one email account and the account settings button is broke (grey) so I can't recreate the e-mail account.

  • 57 a code error when you install Windows Update KB982312 (MS Office 2007)

KB982312 update continually moved.  This is an update for MS Office 2007.  It gives an error code of 57A.  Earlier, I asked if I should install MS Office updates that I don't have MS Office on my computer.  I was told here that I should install them.  I have MS Works installed well.  If I put the update in the hidden list?

    Hello

Here's what I recommend you do:

1 disable UAC. Down comes the restrictions - turn it off completely.
2 restart your computer for the change to take effect.
3 re - download the update of security for Microsoft Office System 2007 (KB982331) from the link below:

    4. install. It should work fine.
    5. If it still does not work, try to open all or part of your MS Office applications (such as MS Word, MS Excel, etc.).
    6. follow step 3.

    Let me know your results.

  • HP1006 print no longer prints since installation Office 2007 WHY?

I was using my computer with my HP1006 printer and it worked Falwlessly, until I installed Microsoft Office 2007. Now it does not print anything unless I have play and seems to print only when he wants to, after restarting my computer. Why is - these are more printed? I thought that maybe it wasd drivers uninstall the software and reinstalled and it works once. I then well maybe it's the Ink toner cartridge so I purchased and installed an and still does not work. I clip on printing when I Ouklook and she has a box of open dialogue and shows, which it sends to the printer that the window closes, and yet nothing is happening when he worked as soonas I would send it to the printer the printer would be dtart to switch and then it would print. I unplugged and plugged the USB cable and you get the tone so he sees that he powered the picture and turns off still nothing.

Why is this nothing these days is compatible with the XP operating system. Been seen wearing ranging from issues with everything that relates to the computer now I can not print, but my Internet access provider is not compatible Microsoft Outlook so now I have to open Outlook by clicking on icon rather than be able to just open it from my service provider Internet homepage but Outlook Express worked but my employer's network did not like something and would not charge by e-mail which has been my work schedule to an Excel file, and then once I started using Office 2007 which started working, but my emails to my employer was then return suggesting not distributable, it was spam. And that's how I had to give my hours for them to be paid. And then if I have sent the same email to 3 different people he would also return as spam. I send a change of e-mail do together to the top of the message, and maybe once in 5 tries it would go. Why so many questions with Mircosoft Office 2007? Just did not since the duty to spend so much time to basic things to this work again. Is not XP and Office 2007 both produced Microsift and they must not Compatible? I spend too much time on things that once worked perfectly and now does. I'm tire of spending so much time looking for answers... Given that my computers are 5 years old they don't work well with Windows 7 and I can't afford new desktop laptop. Guess it will be ongoing as Microsoft no longer supports XP...

So WHY doesn't my printer does not? I have uninstalled Office 2007 and find another software that works because it is not?

    Hi 1Mike123,

I deleted your last new thread in the hardware forum and pilots like you understood how to meet your older son now.

I have a suggestion for you on how to solve the printing problem. Please take a look at the link below and follow all the instructions carefully.

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows/help/printer-problems-in-Windows

Also, to make sure that you are getting the exact drivers you need, please check this link for the drivers HP themselves. You will need to select your operating system and download the new driver.

    http://h20000.www2.HP.com/bizsupport/TechSupport/DriverDownload.jsp?prodNameId=3435683&lang=en&cc=us&prodTypeId=18972&prodSeriesId=3435682&TaskID=135

This link will tell you how to determine what version of Windows XP you have and which of these options to select. http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/310104

And just for clarification, exactly how you re - install the printer on your computer? You use a disc or software preinstalled for this? Also, what kind of message are you (if any) when you try to print, and it does not work?

Finally, just to let you know to avoid confusion, I'm moving this thread from office for the hardware and drivers forum forums.

If these are updates old which are NOT necessary, how the update to pass as "useless"?
