Office 2007 does not. gives error 643 with 80070BC9
New HP (seven) desktop with quad processor, 6 MB of ram, Windows 7 64-bit, McAfee, Spyware Doctor. A trial of Norton and Office 2007 that I deleted (used on site Norton removal tool). No problems with updates until after 11/10/09. Then updates started to not install, but I did not notice until several days ago, when my Outlook window could not open. Happened to check the update log and saw failures after 11/10.
I tried manual downloads instead of auto. Off McAfee when downloading. The Windows Firewall is disabled. Nothing has worked. In desperation, I removed all installations and updates from 11/10 to the front. No luck. Removed Office Enterprise 2007 in order to recharge. Failed to install with the following comments:

MS Office 2007 does not work with Windows?
How to make my software of MS Office 2007 "compatible" with my version of Windows?
I don't think you have a problem of compatibility. Cannot read from the disk means usually only two things. The disc is scratched and unreadable or your cd/dvd-rom needs to be cleaned or is bad.
That's what I suggest. First, try another drive just to see if it is the cd/dvd drive or not... If drive bed the other disk go to the next step. There is a non-conventional but difficulty, has worked several times for me, especially on dvd players. Go the the pantry and get your can of furniture Polish. Spray a small amount directly on your desktop drive. Lightly wipe it with a clean cloth. Place the disc in the cd/dvd drive. Now, don't be stupid. If the drive reads the disc immediately create a new folder on your desktop and name it Office. Copy the files from the disk and paste them into the new folder. It is perhaps our only chance to get the files and create a new record. Let me know if you are able to do this and we'll go from there.

Office 2007 does not open after the Vista update
Hello world
I've been using a trial version of Office 2007 Standard supplied with my notebook for almost two months without any problem. Yesterday I updated to Vista x 64 and now I get a "the application failed to start because its side-by-side configuration is incorrect." pop up when I try to open any office program.
I uninstalled and downloaded another version to test, but when I try to open Word or any other part of the office, I get the same error.
Out of all the "" regular updates, it's the only one that is a new: Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5 Service Pack 1 and the .NET Framework 3.5 Family Update (KB951847) x 64 I guess this is the prob.
I tried to uninstall Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5, but the uninstall program always, said: "Setup.exe has stopped working".
Someone has any idea how to solve this problem?
Thank you
Here's an update. The two programs of Nikon not open as well. I don't know what other progs have been affected.

G6-2366er Pavilion. My windows8 crashed, and my salesman does not give me disk with OS
I know that the key is embedded in the bios, but the question is - how can I reinstall my windows? where should I download windows 8 distributive?
do not restore - mention it does not at all
Hello:
You will probably have to order a set of HP recovery disks.
Call them for the country that you live in the link below.
http://WWW8.HP.com/us/en/contact-HP/WW-contact-us.html
You can also read this thread and see if the W8 OEM download will work on your laptop.
See the response of Hüffer.
http://h30434.www3.HP.com/T5/notebook-hardware-e-g-Windows-8/need-product-key/m-p/2592907#M96681
I've done the drive and it works fine but I don't have a PC provided with W8, so I can't test if the key in the BIOS works, but I guess that's.
Also, I don't know if this download is for any language. It is lacking in English and perhaps it's just that it can be.

1st session is being loaded from the application of Suduko on the washingtonpost.com website, http://games.washingtonpost.com/games/sudoku/ it is a 15 to 30 second window for ads. During this window, trying to open a 2nd session with a right click on the Firefox icon in the taskbar by clicking on the line of Mozilla Firefox. This starts a new session and all that appears is a blank screen with a blue bar at the top. Nothing happening, no error message, no home page is loaded, nothing. I can leave the session that's all. I try again, and it does again. I can finally raise an active 2nd session once are announcements from the Washington Post and soft Suduko is upward. This has happened for several years. I always thought that with the next version of Flash Player or Firefox would be corrected but not so far.

Since Acrobat Reader downloaded DC I can't sign my PDF documents. It does not give me the option more and yes I am connected. On the old version, I got no problem with clicking on "signature" and draw the area where I needed my signature, put the password and "POOF" my signature would be there. With this new version, it won't do that or give me the option. The online help is useless. I need to explain to me how connect you as I used too?
I assumed that you had a digital signature created in your player application of old and whenever you use to fill out a pdf with a signature field signed you it. But in order to draw and then sign you must use Acrobat Pro DC no DC drive.
Thank you

Defender is turned off, but does not give me access to it 2 turn on power
original title: windows Defender
These days have a lot of problems with my laptop. Problems with starting. I need to access windows defender to modify startup programs. It is said that Defender is turned off, but does not give me access to it 2 turn it on. In addition, different problems with different users and accounts by the office put in place, it looks like all my users are running different versions of windows, so I don't know where to start with all the problems. Security sounded like a good place 2 start, so I guess I'll start by Defender problems. (I have recently downloaded the free security essentials, safety signs so all green lights).

I have a computer toshiba laptop satellite my dvd rom is not working, it does not give me the error code 36
Hello
In addition to the BIOS settings the player himself could have problems.
-------------
This instrument requires a PCI interrupt but is configured for an ISA interrupt (or vice versa).
Please use the computer's system setup program to reconfigure the interrupt for this device.
(Code 36)Interrupt request (IRQ) translation failed.
Try to use the BIOS Setup tool to change the settings for IRQ reservations (if such options exist). The BIOS can have options to reserve certain IRQS for interconnection of peripheral components (PCI) or ISA devices. For more information about changing the BIOS settings, see the documentation for the hardware.
On the tab General properties of the device, click Troubleshoot to start the Troubleshooting Wizard.

Hello Ann,.
If you allowed them access to your PC, then it is a problem. I considered reinstalling my OS and change all my passwords. It would also make sense, if you use the online banking etc., to inform your bank that you have a security hole on your PC. This will alert them to anyone using your current password to the Bank etc.
