• 6i ref cursor no_data_found exception report

  I have a simple report with the cursor query a Ref on a scheme of database packed.
  
  The data model function has an exception handler for no_data_found.
  The exception sets a local variable in a program unit specification.
  A field with a message based on a column in support of place does not return.
  
  I try to give a message to the user and am not having any luck.
  
  Ideas?

  From metalink, I downloaded a document with the title ORACLE FINANCIALS E-BUSINESS SUITE, END of PERIOD to release 12 PROCEDURES_
  
  In this document in accordance with the procedure of the period-end closing GL, I found the step below:
  
  * 9. run the report period Exceptions *.
  It is a new step in the version 12. Accounting General Ledger can run the report period Exceptions to check that there are no exceptional transactions in ledgers auxiliaries and GL and follow up with competent co-workers if all exceptions are identified.
  
  But in the GL Module, I see no connection with the name of close period Exceptions
  
  Can someone please shed some light on the concept above.

  As said by Vamsi, you must add it... This report is not available in the General Ledger default query group, since it is a dependant of the report on ALS which is essentially at the level of the subledger.
  Under Oracle reference says the same thing...

• Office 2016 on El Capitan: error report Microsoft that closes unexpectedly

  For my Office 2016 applications on the latest version of Mac OS X (10.11.4) through my subscription to Office 365, I encounter the error, 'Microsoft Error Reporting close unexpectedly,' launching applications in normal mode.  I can, however, open Office applications in safe mode.  I have completely removed, re-installed, re-authorized and re-update of the office suite.  While in safe mode, I have disabled the Microsoft error report request (PRM 2.2.9) using the preferences pane.  (This application is located in/Library/Application Support/Microsoft/MERP2.0).  I'm running on an iMac of mid-2011.

  I'm in a dead end total current office productivity.  Any idea on PRM and how to disable or secure it would be appreciated.

• Period close 11i and R12

  Latest version of Oracle Applications: 11.5.10.2

  We are in 11i and 11i pertaining to the close period limits is as below:

  All business units that share a set of books also share the same period status. When we update the State time to open in an operating unit, this period is open for all units operating within the whole books. When attempting to update the State closed in an operating unit, the system checks the uncommitted transactions in all units operating within all of the books. If there are uncommitted transactions in one of the operating units, you are asked to solve for these before operating units uncommitted transactions can close the period for all the books.

  At the above limitation is here in R12, if yes could you please explain in detail.

  Hi Srinivas,

  This restriction exists as well in R12. Periods gl are always defined by all of the books, so, if you open (or close) the period within an organization that uses all of the books, it is opened (or closed) in all agencies as well.

• Currency decimal value based on the report not showing amount in the region

  I have a requirement to display the quantity as decimal based region based on org_id for account analysis report, the responsibility of subledger accounting.

  If the currency code is Bahrain, amount should display to 3 decimal places. ex - 2000.000

  If the currency code is Riyadh, amount should show to 2 decimal places. ex - 2000.00

  If p_curr = field 'Bahrain' then shape with 3 decimal places

  If p_curr = field 'Riyadh' then forms with 2 decimals in rtf.

  My problem is that I have to add an extra edge to the additions to the market, but I can't Rollback depreciation because I checked close period.

  Hi Srini,

  Add assets to the currently open period, with the correct Date put into Service. When you run depreciation for the next period, the system calculates depreciation for two periods (catch-up).

• not generating the trace for rdf report by oracle apps file

  in fact, we aim to generate trace file for reports and a convert to text file using tkprof by simultaneous program unix shell script submit using fnd_request.submit_request in another program of concurrent proceedings. but all the reports that are created by using pl/sql generates the trace file, but rdf report does not trace file.

  Oracle application is 11i
  
  List of measures are being taken to get the trace file are
  1.SRW. USER_EXIT (' FND SRWINIT' "); before the release of report
  2SRW. USER_EXIT ("FND SRWEXIT'"); in after the report
  
  another of the measures which are followed
  SRW.do_sql ("alter session set SQL_TRACE = TRUE'"); before release of the report
  SRW.do_sql ("alter session set SQL_TRACE = FALSE'"); in after the report
  
  above, said steps are done, but still it does not arouse any trace file
  
  same oracle_process is null

  Add the following line before the outbreak of report
  SRW. DO_SQL ("alter session set events = tracefile_identifier" trace 10046 name context forever, level 4 "=" REPORT ' ")

  Trace stops automatically when the report closes.

  I don't remember if exists in forms 4.5 but I think there are (if not using Selector 6i installation House)

  go to programs
  Search for the installation of 4.5 GB oracle_home selector one put as by default the oracle_home of 4.5

  and try again

  and when you are running a version prior to execution of report close the bottom of report engine, they are different...
