Exchange 2007 Enterprise Time Stamp problem

Dear Sir;

I have an Exchange 2007 Enterprise - Windows 2008 64 x, the problem is: email time stamp is + 1 hour real time. The clock and the time zone time to Exchange server, DC and customer is right. What I can do.

best regards;

    Hello world

I'm faced with a problem of strange casting between the DATE and time STAMP. Strange, because this happens in SQL-Developer and the Testdatabase, but not when called from inside SQL-Plus, even if all Session settings are set to the top completely equal.

I work on the Oracle 11 g Enterprise Edition Release 11.2.0.1.0 Windows database and run the following script, taken from SQL-Developer script output:

Look at the strange data that stamp_copy was after the update.

When run from SQL over, everything is fine. But when I run this code in our application, the same phenomenon occurs. I've even seen a data dating back to the year 11907 (!), giving an exception by selecting from the table.

Someone at - it an idea on how to work around this bug?

    Best regards

  • Is there a problem using CFPOP in CF MX 7 with Exchange 2007?

We have a scheduled task that checks the mailbox and, according to the request, replies to the sender with our basic contact information. It worked fine for several years using the CF MX 7 Standard and MS Exchange 2000. We have just changed to MS Exchange 2007 and we get an error as follows: ' connection failure: unknown username or bad password. " We can access the mailbox directly from Exchange by using the account and the password, so we think we send the correct information (example below).

    < CFPOP ACTION = "GetHeaderOnly" SERVER = "192.168.1.15" USERNAME = "testaccount" PASSWORD = "testpassword" NAME = "getMail" >

Is there something we're missing? We believe that the IP address, the account and the password is always accurate. We have assigned to this mail server in the Mail tab in the CF Administrator and he can see and route CFMAILs by it.

    Any help is appreciated.

We discovered that Exchange 2007 has five specific steps that need to occur in a particular order for CFPOP resume working properly. We did it (despite several security issues) because this function is strictly internal. Not recommended for an application available for the general public.

Procedure for Exchange 2007 works for CFPOP:
    (1) start the service of POP on the Exchange 2007 server.
    (2) allow the e-mail accounts to use POP3.
    (3) lower the requirements of security on these accounts to allow CF to send clear text instead of encrypted (SSL) requests for POP3.
    (4) set the Exchange Server to accept the relay.
    (5) lower the safety requirements for the relay.

I hope I explained this correctly. That's how my network supervisor explained to me there.

  • Exchange 2007 and Cliq

I can't add an Exchange 2007 account in Corporate Sync. I have an Exchange 2003 account works fine, but the Exchange 2007 keeps saying invalid account information. I use the generated self Cert deployment Exchange and not a public cert if it matters. I also tried to use SMTP on Port 587, I can receive emails, but cannot send via this method. I tried 2 different Exchange 2007, OWA on the two exchange 2007 servers is defined and works very well.

I agree, if you can connect with the touchdown, then other connections should be good. I just re-read your first message.

I think your self generated cert is the problem. There is no root to validate the cert self-produced, and from what I can tell there is no way to install certificates root on the Cliq. Reading the android forums, there is no central key database on Android, each application maintains its own keys and the root certificates.

Touchdown, have its own store of certificates and import tool. Also, true touchdown push. Construction Enterprise sync tool is every 15 minutes.

    Things I've done,

    -Windows Update Server

-Exchange of the sp1 update to sp2 to sp3 ROLLUP 17

-change the opening of transport service for instead of the network administrator account.

-drive c has 18 GB of free space.

-imposed d player has 200 GB of free space in the database.

-restart the transport service result in not able to shut down the service.

-telnet external to the server on port 25, especially when there is the problem have a black screen. Since today have not yet opening the port.

I don't know how to solve this problem at this time.

Restarting daily, this isn't a solution.

This issue is beyond the scope of this site (for consumers) and to be sure, you get the best (and fastest) reply, we have to ask either on Technet (for IT Pro) or MSDN (for developers)

  • Time stamp on outgoing emails

I'm on Windows Home Premium 64-bit and Microsoft Office Home and Student 2007.  I use Windows Mail for e-mail.  The date and time on my computer are correct, but when I send emails the stamp date on my emails is off by 2 1/2 hours.  I don't know how to solve this problem.  Help, please.  Thank you.

    Hi Michele R,

    Welcome to the Microsoft community newsgroups. I suggest you follow the steps below;

Step 1: Set the time zone and time server computer.

    (I) click on the clock in the taskbar.

    (II) click on adjust Date/time.

(III) click on the button to change time zone

(IV) to change the time zone to the correct for your area and click OK

    (V) click on the time tab Internet and then click on change settings.

(VI) click on automatically synchronize with a time server Internet, select a time server, and then click OK.

For more information, see this Microsoft Help & how-to - link: set the clock. I would also say to you who want to change the display of dates, times, currencies and measures and change the country or region setting

Step 2: Make sure that you set the correct time zone in the Webmail email account.

In Hotmail, click Options > More Options > view and modify your personal information > recorded information and specify the time zone correct.

Other than Hotmail e-mail services have similar profile settings, privacy settings or user account. No matter what service you use, the time zone must be set properly for your email to be time stamped correctly.

If the problem persists it may be because of mail time server is / are placed incorrectly. In this case, you will need to take a look on the headers of messages in order to determine if this is the case. If it is established that the mail server is configured incorrectly, you must contact the owner of the mail server to correctly set it up.

Let me know if it works. Good luck!

    Hope this information is useful.

    Thank you and best regards,

    KKS Vijay

Try to get the Exchange calendar to sync to the blackberry.  Outlook is configured to deliver mail to the mailbox on the server.  AFAIK synch is set up correctly, synchronization begins, ends with the error message "failed to get an Outlook or Exchange.  Lack of network access to the server Exchange can cause this problem ' Journal lists 'Read '' ' to the list of items, so connection to the server at a certain level is assumed, but ends with:

It is one of the only two blackberrys in the Agency (and likely to stay at this rate), so BES installation is not an option.  Outlook works fine, we deleted then recreated the Outlook profile and the sync folder in the folder settings for the application - no luck.

Is there something in particular that must be set on the server Exchange to enable the Blackberry communicate with her?  The specific services that should be running?  The Blackberry is replacing a Nokia that synchronized without problems on the same Exchange Server.

Thanks for your responses and suggestions.

Hi and welcome to the Forums!

Here are a few KB dealing with this message:

    • KB11951 Unable to get data from a Microsoft Outlook or Microsoft Exchange Record. Lack of access to the network for MS Exchange Server can cause this problem.
    • KB01172 Error 'Unable to get a folder Outlook or Microsoft Exchange' when syncing with BlackBerry Desktop Manager

Just a small clarification here - there is never any direct communication between a BB and the Exchange Server. All require ducts (BIS/OWA, BES, Desktop Redirector).

Good luck and let us know!

  • Exchange 2007/Forefront 10 SP1

We are planning to launch an Exchange 2007 environment virtually for updating our current Exchange 2003 servers.  Currently, these servers are in a test environment, but we seek to implement in production as soon as possible.  For our Setup, we have 2 Exchange servers (1 mailbox, 1 CASE/Hub Transport).  We gave letters 8 GB of RAM and 4 GB of RAM IF the server.  Both have 1vCPU assigned to them.  We don't see huge problems with Exchange 2007, itself, but we don't have much of a load put on it immediately.

The main question which is about me is with Forefront 10 Scanner updates.  I hope someone here has Exchange 2007 and Forefront 10 virtualized for comparrison.  Anyway, what I see is the update download well, but as soon as that's done, he settled and spikes the CPU at 100% for 3 to 5 minutes.  Obviously, this is no good, because our mailbox will be disturbed whenever an update installs.

As a side note, I tried 2 vCPU assignment to one of the servers to test and noticed that it would boost the two hearts 'around' of 50% for the same amount of time.  Ideally, we'd have only 1 vCPU assigned to each if possible.

We lack two vCPUs on our HTs mainly due to Microsofts best practices, but we're reassessing it in our environment as we like to configure vCPUs as little as possible as well.

In response to what model CPU, ESX and guest OS. all are in the white paper on the link below.  To answer these questions here we run ESX 3.5 U1 and U3 on Intel 7340 @ 2.4 GHz.  All times is made dynamically by ESX, no pinning is done for virtual machines in our environment.  All Exchange servers running Windows 2003 R2 x 64, SP2.

  • Exchange 2007 and VMWare snapshots

    Hello

I did a few tests with Exchange 2007 and use it with VMWare. I ended up crashing the Exchange to the point that I could not restore it without making a recovery, so I decided to go back to a snapshot I took about five days earlier. Snapshot of restoration went well until I started the Exchange 2007. I could not Exchange databases to mount. I couldn't get around this problem and I had to reinstall to lose more mail databases.

Is there something with the snapshoting who does that? I know that running databases can be difficult snapshot safely, but oracle atleast never fell down due to a restore.

Your best bet and the cleanest method would be to create a series of scheduled tasks.

    1. Guest virtual stop at programmed time

    2. Snapshot of virtual hosts

    3. Power on virtual guest

This must be done for all the virtual hosts which depends on a database of any kind (Exchange, SQL, Oracle, MySQL, etc) If you plan on relying on instant VMware as a method of recovery after a disaster.

  • TDMS of MDF time stamp conversion error / storage date time change

I fought it for a while, I thought I'd throw it out there...

Let's say I have a file TDMS which has a channel of labview time stamp and thermocouple 2.

I load in DIADEM, I get this:

Perfect!  But now let's say I want to save the PDM as a MDF file so I can see him in Vector sofa.  I right click and save as MDF, perfect.  I started couch and get this:

The year 2121, yes I take data on a star boat!  It seems to be taking the stamp of date/time storage TDMS as starting point and adding the TC_Timestamp channel.

    If I change the channel of TC_Timestamp to 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 etc... and save as MDF, I get this:

Very close, 2012!   But what I really want is what to show of the time, it was recorded what would be the 10/09/2012.

The problem is whenever I do like recording, date storage time is updated right now, then the MDF plugin seems to use it as a starting point.

is it possible to stop this update in TIARA?

    Thank you

    Ben

    Hi Ben,

You got it right that the MDF use written the time of storage to start MDF that is updated by DIAdem when writing time. We are working on this and will return to you, if there is no progress.

To work around the problem, you can try convert TDMS MDF in LabVIEW storage vis.

Something like the following, you can write your start time of measurement to the MDF file.

    Hope this helps,

    Mavis

  • Misfortunes of time stamp

A code I have build to generate and acquire waveform signals and then write them in a text file with the appropriate time stamp is attached. As it is, I've linked only the portion of scripture to the acquired signals (I intend to write then generated signals); However, my time stamps are not written to the sides of my tensions, because I expected to do. I had problems with it (probably because I'm a total novice at this), but would like to have some knowledge of experts in this field. Can someone help me? The code and a dummy test text file are attached. Thank you!

    Hi UARK.

I just ran your VI with a simulated device and could read in the appropriate data (it was not all constant).  Try opening a panel of Test NI Max to display the data that your device reads in and check if these data are constant.  If so, it's a problem with your hardware rather than your LabVIEW program.  That being said, this issue is quite different from your original post, and I suggest to create a new post on the forum for this quite so that more people see it.

    Thank you

  • seconds of falling for the time stamp

I guess someone has had this problem before, but do not see in the forum anywhere.  I add a timestamp in a file so I used the 'get time in seconds' and connected to a "convert to DBL.  Then this son in an indicator on the façade and in the Express VI "write to a measurement file.

The indicator shows the time stamp very well, but in the file it puts it in scientific notation and cut the last 4 digits and fractions of a second.  Timestamping writes to the file every 5 seconds, so it is important to have the rest of the time stamp included.  I tried using probes on wires to see where things are weird but I get the same value truncated in the wire before and after the flag.  I thought it had something to do with the VI Express first, given that the indicator is fine, but with her truncated in the thread, it seems that the Express VI is indeed record exactly what is given to... but then again the indicator... you can see that I've been running in circles in this!  Someone knows the reason why he does this and a possible solution?

    Thank you very much!

  • Exchange 2007 SP3 increase in message size does not work why?

I have a windows server 2008R2 with Exchange 2007 SP3, currently the maximum to send and receive message size is 30 MB. My MD needs to send an email which is 60 MB.

I went through and changed all the parameters in which I expect to do. If I run best practices, it signals that the Send connectors and the receiver are high at 60 MB. Fine, I said.

I open Microsoft Outlook 2007 and try to attach several files to 5 MB per element. Outlook has that attachments are great when I get to 29 MB.

This is only a temporary job, so not worried, but can, my concern is what's wrong.

We had Exchange 2007 running on windows 2008R2 who say it cannot be done while we had a server crash. I had to transfer exchange on a temp server. I've migrated on the main server which is brand new but this time, I installed Excahnge 2007SP3. I don't know if this migration has nothing to do with it.

    Any help would be great
