Executing an .exe with a SWF file. ?

Hey.

I was wandering if it is possible to run an .exe with a flash swf file file. When you click on a button?

If it is then someone would be nice enough to tell me what I have to use the code please?

I would like to use it with the button symbol.

Thank you

~ Joe

This should be:

Stop();

Btn.addEventListener (MouseEvent.CLICK, f);

function f(e:Event):void {}

fscommand ("exec", "psxfin.exe")

}

p.s. Please check the useful/correct.

  • Create exe with some vi files

    Hello

    I'm using LabVIEW 2010

    I'm trying to build a "Main.vi" in an exe file, this Main.vi to dynamically call two vi "1(vi)" and "2.vi". I put between "always included" before generating the exe file. But after you have created the exe "1(vi)" and "2.vi" do not work.

    Just to show what said Norbert.  You should get used to use relative paths.  They will save you a lot of headaches down the road, especially if you call dynamically screws inside exe files.

  • Suspension 6 Captivate with a swf file created in Flash Pro

    Don't know why my code does not work, but I tried a few different things based on what's worked for other people. The code is placed on the frame where I need interaction to pause. None of them does not seem to work. I have a custom Flash interaction that the student must complete before continuing the course.

    Here are the things I've tried:

    MovieClip (root) .rdcmndPause = 1;

    ---------------------------------------------

    var mainmov:MovieClip = MovieClip (root);

    mainmov.rdcmndPause = 1;

    ---------------------------------------------

    var myRoot:MovieClip = MovieClip (root);

    var mainmov:MovieClip = MovieClip (myRoot.parent.root);

    mainmov.rdcmdPause = 1;

    -------------------------------------------

    FYI, I tried both rdcmndPause that cpCmndPause to each of the foregoing. Anyone have any ideas? Also, I'm ready to upgrade to Captivate 8. They make it easier in this version to do this kind of thing?

    Thank you

    Jeff

    frame 1 of my fla source code, I used this event and var to interact with captivate variables:

    var captivateVariables: *;

    addEventListener (Event.FRAME_CONSTRUCTED, isAdded);

    and then this function:

    function isAdded(e:Event) {}

    txt.appendText ("isAdded\n");

    removeEventListener (Event.FRAME_CONSTRUCTED, isAdded);

    try {}

    captivateVariables = object (parent.parent) .getMovieProps () .variablesHandle;

    txt.appendText ("captivateVariables:" + captivateVariables.cpCmndPause + "\n");

    }

    {} catch (error)

    //

    }

    }

    and then I inserted on a slide of captivate Framework 1.

    Note: txt is a dynamic text box, I put on the flash stage I could see what was going on, since there is no trace statement from a captivate running file.

  • is it possible to click on a button in a swf file and have it replaced with another swf file?

    I don't know how to explain it but,

    I have a swf that has a button. When you click on it, it will appoint a different swf.

    that would alow me to create a menu swf when a user click on a menu item it loaded a different swf.

    The reason why I am interested in this option is that I only have a small window portlet on our community page.

    Thank you

    J

    Insert this code in the button that you want to load the film:

    on (release) {}

    loadMovieNum("movie_name",0);

    }

    Who will replace the current movie with the new film.  If you want the button remains, make a video, the size of the movie you are going to load, give it an instance name and replace the 0 with the name of the instance of the clip and I think that should do it.

    Include the quotation marks in the code, they are part of the syntax.

  • Firefox does not display the .swf files

    Hello

    Everything worked quite well in Firefox and then all of a sudden it stopped simply to display .swf files. Where they should be is simply empty. On Web sites with a background, I can see the background through where the .swf file should be. This includes the locally saved files as well as all Web sites with a .swf file that is supposed to play.

    I don't want to suddenly quite literally, as it was in the middle of a browsing session. I changed nothing, just... one minute they worked very well, the next they completely arrested. It is clear that the program is to recognize that something is supposed to be there, like Adblock appears a little tab 'Block' on where the file should be, but again, this space is completely empty. He's not black, it is transparent.

    I completely uninstalled reinstalled from zero and 'upgrade' Shockwave it three times now, all without effect.

    You can check for problems with the current versions of the plugin Shockwave Flash and try this:

  • Captivate 6 graphic bug in the SWF file

    Hello

    I use 6 Captivate and have a problem with the SWF file. There are some glitches in the video. They are a bit like after images of the contents of the previous slide.

    bug.JPG

    (Here the white lines should not appear).

    Curiously, in the preview of these lines do not appear.

    I already tried a lot of things like the use of the highest quality for slides (24-bit) or increasing the frames per second, but nothing seems to help.

    Does anyone know a solution?

    Kind regards

    Rini

    Hello and welcome,

    You can specify the exact version number (help, Captivate)?

    Try turning off all compression under preferences, project, SWF size and quality settings. And what publication check the option 'Force republication... '. »

    PS increasing the pace will not help in this case.

  • SWF files will not play in the 11.1.102.55 version

    System: Windows Vista Home Premium, 32-bit operating system

    Computer: Toshiba Satellite A205 laptop

    Browser: Firefox 9.0.1 and IE Explorer 8.0.6001.19170

    I use swf files to show the views in 360 degrees of my products.  All swf files worked very well until version 11.1.102.55 is out.  Now just a white spot is shown where the image is supposed to be.  Here is an example: http://www.downunderweb.com/store/MI_SAD235.html

    I tried to view my site on multiple computers and browsers with the same results - nothing shows up in 11.1.102.55, but swf files work fine on older versions of flash.  I spoke with other web owners who have the same problem.  The new version of flash not backward compatible with some SWF files?

    Thank you, ralphk.  I don't use windows 64 bit so it wouldn't be a problem.  I recompiled now all my images with the latest version of Object2vr swf and files now display correctly in all browsers.

    Open the directory where you published your flash files.  in this directory, you will see the skin swf.  Download the swf on your server in the same directory of your other flash files server.

  • HELP DREAMWEAVER CS4 NOT SHOWING THE SWF FILES

    I have a presentation in two days in Tokyo. And I'm panicking.

    I'm on am Intel Mac OS X 10.4.11.

    I have the latest version of Flash Player 10 installed. (Not the new beta version).

    A few years ago, I created a great site in Dreamweaver MX.

    I never had PROBLEMS with the .swf files display until using Dreamweaver CS4.

    I updated my photography portfolios in Adobe Bridge and used Dreamweaver CS4 for link updates.

    IT'S NOTHING MORE THAN THAT!

    Then, show NONE of the .swf files which were still visible.

    There is absolutely NO of Flash content now showing on any page of the site.

    Not even in view in Safari or Firefox browser.

    I downloaded the files with the SCRIPTS folder newly created on my server, and still no .swf file is visible.

    These aren't the FLV files that they are .swf files which were anchored properly and were still visible. So far.

    I have to go to Tokyo in two days and give a presentation of this site.

    What is the problem?

    Attached files view in Dreamweaver CS4. The view in Safari and view in Firefox.

    I'm screwed for a job badly in Tokyo, if I can't get this fixed as soon as POSSIBLE.

    Help, please.

    You download the Scripts?

  • Problem of Flex and Flash SWF files

    I decided to create a validation more because my previous error is much wider than expected-

    First, there are the problems with race SWF files created from the Flash IDE and loading in Flex? I have a swf swf file which works fine if I run it in the Flash IDE, the browser, the office, even in another projector file inside the Flash IDE, but as soon as I load it in Flex I start receiving errors about the flash drawing API.  These include but are not limited to: drawPath GraphicsPathWinding drawTriangles, .  I'm new to Flex so maybe I'm missing something? I understand that the swf could work anywhere else, if I loaded into Flex that would work in the same way... This also makes me hesitate using Flex, because there are some widgets that I prefer to create in the Flash IDE and then load them into Flex, but if everything is not compatible between the two so I'll just create everything in the IDE Flash.

    Which version of the Flex SDK are you using? What version of the Flash IDE are you using?

    I guess that if you are going to export your .swf to FP 9 and AS3, errors will disappear.

  • "track period" for a swf file

    I'm playing with based .swf files. I found this online tutorial to learn how to set a period 'trail' for a swf file. However, the code does not work, but I can't understand what is wrong with it. Someone at - it ideas?

    function trialDetector (): Void {}
    const yyyy:Number = 2009; year

    const dddd:Number = 1; day of the month (1, 2,..., 30, 31)
    var expirationDate:Date = new Date (yyyy, MMM, dddd);
    var currentDate:Date = new Date();
    If (currentDate > expirationDate)
    {
    expiration has been detected
    for(;;); / / use the appropriate measures, for example - an infinite loop to stop the video clip
    }
    }
    trialDetector();

    Thank you

    PAI_T-OS,

    This code seems, most of the time.  By V 'Empty' capital, I can say that this is ActionScript 2.0, so the 'const' keyword is going to be a problem (const is for constants, which is not available to ActionScript 3.0).  Change the var, and you should be fine.  Personally, I wouldn't use an empty loop (e.g. for(;;)) to kill the film.  Why not just ask the user with a message?

    I noticed that your test numbers for July 1, 2009, which is disabled in the future to this day.  When you test this, you need to change your computer clock - which is an easy way for users to bypass this mechanism, unfortunately - or use different values while you test.

  • Best way to import a Camtasia. SWF file?

    Recently, I created a screen (such as a .swf file) using Camtasia Studio 5 tutorial and want to import the .swf, I created a topic of a Web Flash project that I'm working on. I tried to put the .swf in a .htm but RoboHelp crashes. It does not crash with other .swf files, but on this one, he does.

    The file plays fine if I double-click the .swf within Windows Explorer, it seems a problem with RoboHelp.

    Now, I can get the video to work within the project if I copy the .swf file, the .js file, and file the swf .htm manually copy the project folder. If I lower it CTRL + W, at this point it works. If I build the project, the .swf and .htm (because I copied them manually) don't get included in the layout of a single source file. I can probably add them manually it too and then publish it, but there must be a better way.

    Anyone has any success with importing files .swf Camtasia in RH7 and perhaps could give me some advice so I do not have to manually copy the files in the world?

    Ah yes... the baggage files * made a mental note *... I still forget those. That seems to work. Thank you Rick.

  • Red screen on the page with the embedded swf file

    My application refused:

    I am testing your app on the BlackBerry Dev Alpha Device (OS version 10.0.9.1675). When I try to open the sub category of your app, it's only showing a red blank screen appears and does not respond.

    It works very well in ripple, but I can't get the Simulator working and I don't have an alpha of dev, so I can't test it myself. The subcategory is just a HTML with a built-in .swf file.

    Hello

    You have this function in your config.xml file?

  • How can I tell where a .swf file is linking in with the submit button?

    Recently, I was hired as a graphic designer and administrator of the site to a local company. Now, everything was working fine until my employer has changed some settings with our FTP. All our "Customizer" on our Web site - which are .swf files - is more work.

    What I discovered is this: when a customer clicks on the button 'submit', the 'page' are they sent to? The information they type in what are to be sent to an e-mail address, but I can't find any of these settings in the .fla files on our server of the company.

    Once I know where they establish between, I can change this path or make sure that the path exists as it appears in the settings of these customizer .swf files.

    Any help that anyone can provide would be much appreciated! I don't have much experience with this program, or flash in general, but I understand the basics. I've spent most of my work day (8 hours) full trying to understand this point, and the end of my Friday draws to a close, I hope I don't spend another week to try to resolve this - a week where customers can customize their products on our website!

    Open the problem page in your web browser and press F12 to bring up the developer tools. Select the network tab (this is for Firefox or IE; in IE you need to click the green arrow to enable logging). When you click on send, it should display the address that the SWF file attempts to access.
