Expand/collapse extracts (assets/styles/layers) Panel when viewing in CC MyAssets psd files online

Hello

It's more of a feature than a question in itself, request but I didn't know where to post a feature request, so here we go:

When you view PSD Photoshop online in "MyAssets" of Creative cloud, which IMO is actually one of the best features of the creative cloud, it would be very helpful if you could expand and collapse the styles/assets/channels Panel that is located on the right side.

I don't think it would be particularly difficult to implement, but it would be really useful when displaying the drawings on more small (or portrait) monitors.

Thank you very much

Thanks for the feature request. Assets CC and extract team have heard of you.

  • In my layers panel, when I try to play 'the eye' action is red, and the action will not do what it is supposed to

    I am trying to edit a few photos of baby and use some actions that I bought. When I load the action, thing 'eye' in the layers panel, is red and actin will do nothing.

    I'm doing something wrong?

    The layer is marked in red means in fact an error. You can associate a color with one of your layers. Try double clicking on a background layer in the dialog box to choose color and he associate you any color you want at this layer. With a background layer no right-click and select the color in the list.

    I see it on the photo that you have pointed out that the mask on an adjustment layer is selected, perhaps try to select a layer from the actual image and run your action from there.

  • When you edit PSD files, png elements have a white background during a resizing

    Hello

    I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong.  When I open a psd file that I've worked on and saved, when I try to resize them or somehow modify the different elements (layers) of the layout, they get a white background inside the for this layer's bounding box.  The different elements (layers) where the extraction from the png files that have transparent backgrounds.  White background does not appear when I initially resize or change diapers.  It happens only when I reopen it the psd file saved to make a few changes to it.  What should I do to stop this from happening?

    Thanks in advance for you help!

    You cannot move the location of project PSE 6 and 7. You move this way elements become a sort of semi-smart object on a layer special passthrough. Use the copy/paste or drag it from the palette layers in the png file in the window of the main image of the psd file.

  • PSD files are get desaturated when I output a JPEG copy?

    Hey all,.

    I'm having a strange problem. By way of background, I just upgraded to a whole new MacBook so I had to reinstall and configure my entire suite creative on the new system. It's the latest version. I don't know if there is a strange definition miss me, but I use Photoshop for years and never had the following problem (even on my old MacBook, which was running as well creative cloud).

    I'm editing photos for a client. I always keep a work-in-progress Photoshop file saved in case I need to return to my layers to settle something. While I'm working on the photo my PSD file looks quite normal. Even if I save it, close and then reopen, it seems. So far so good. When I finished editing I save it one last time to the PSD format, then I flatten it, convert it to sRGB, save a JPEG copy and then close the file. BUT... after that, when I reopen it my PSD file looks really happen. Copy JPEG looks fine, but the PSD seems far away. I don't have ANY changes in the PSD file since I finally recorded it, and it was well before I closed the file (like about 30 seconds ago).

    At first I thought it was a color profile or something to monitor. So I took my (now) desaturated PSD and re-issued one other copy JPEG using the same settings as the last time. When I compare the two JPEG images there is a very obvious difference. The original looks normal and the second (issued by the desaturated PSD file) now looks like desaturated so. So something is definitely altered or messed up in the process.

    I'm really scratching my head on this one. Is there something that I am missing?

    Any help would be appreciated!

    If you are using Photoshop I keep my PSD files saved without a color profile embedded.

    All right. That explains it.

    Pardon my language, but it's a bad idea basically at all levels. Especially if you later convert to CMYK. What, then, you convert to? You don't know, that's what.

    Basically, what you're doing are throw everything to the wind, stripping the RGB of any significance numbers. Without a color space numbers mean nothing or nothing at all.

  • Everyone knows Apple Mail flattening. PSD file attachment when sending?

    One of my students met the case when Apple Mail flattens. PSD file when you send an attachment.

    Running the latest Mac OS X 10.6.2 (10C540) Mail Version 4.2 (1077). Multi layers. PSD file 120K was saved to the desktop, then attached to the e-mail. None of the Adobe applications were running at that time here. After that he was sent, the attachment in the sent mail folder has been flattened and there size dropped to 88K.

    The flattened file was sent to destination. Although we could not reproduce this problem on other computers, it always happens on this particular machine.

    When the problem has been reported to Apple, the response of the engineers was more worrisome than the problem itself.

    They said, 'it's OK to flatten the file to reduce the size of an attachment when sending. It is an expected e-mail behavior. " I am very troubled by this attitude of Apple. Flatten the image eliminates information contained in different layers. It's actually CHANGE the contents of an attachment when sending it.

    Anyone encountered this problem? Also, I'd appreciate your comments on the position of Apple that it's OK to change attachments sent withou asking the user first.

    HI -.

    I wonder if she may be in the application mail your students when they sent the file may have the "Image size" parameter other than actual size - I think if it is set to any other thing then Mail makes a JPG file and send - and I think that this setting is sticky - biten me in the past.

  • My layers panel will never appear when I opened PS CS6

    Every time I open Photoshop CS6, say I open a PSD containing like 9 or more layers. Well when I open it, the layers do not appear. In this example, I created a new file and duplicated the bottom 10 times and still without layers show.psi1.jpg

    Until I click on the tab layers:

    PSI2.jpg

    The main problem is that Okay, I could press F7 or go to the window and CHECK the layers of the workspace.

    The problem is that when I close PS (it does not crash, I do not force the end) and reopen it, I do the same thing, because the layers panel is never active and is not checked in the tab of the window of the menu. Whenever I open PS I need to check and open the tab layers. I tried to make my own workspace, switch to another one, look for general preferences, but I still have no change. It's like the PS never recorded this preference and you will notice that the same thing is happening in the settings/Styles Panel. I like these perfectionist tendencies, so I know that this is not the end of the world just click tab or press F7, everytime I open the program, but somehow it makes me crazy, he is not supposed to happen and that's enough for me.

    Thanks in advance!

  • Photoshop 2015: BUG? Layers panel auto-fait scroll to top when you select the text element with the text, creation/copy of layer tool and other actions

    This is a bug or a really bad and frustrating idea for a story.

    (1) in the layers panel, select a text layer, it highlights

    2) change to the text tool

    3) click on the text element in the workspace

    OR

    (1) select a layer in the layers panel

    (2) Ctrl-J, new layer by copying

    EXPECTED: Panel layers rest in the same position

    REAL: Panel layers scrolls the element selected or new layer to the top of the Panel. BORING.

    I do not need or want Photoshop to make decisions for me, space to work around to move without asking, or generally to spoil my flow!

    Please fix this or give me an option to turn it off as soon as POSSIBLE.

  • Why do I have a new layer once I extracted assets?

    After extraction of assets or by clicking "Done", there is a new layer in my Photoshop layers panel. What is it?

    The new layer is the layer of parameters that is used by Adobe Generator to follow the settings applied to all assets. This is where all of the resolutions that you extract assets will ensure the follow-up as well as the corresponding files and suffixes to be used.

  • Objects not no projection in the layers panel

    Hello

    I use Indesign CS4 on Mac 10.6.8. I have a problem with my layer panel-> it does not show a disclosure triangle, so I can't expand a layer to show its objects. The objects are certainly on the layer - if I click on "Select all the objects on the layer" all objects are selected in fact so, technically, they are on the layer-> I can't see the fall down in the layers panel.

    I tried the simple things like expanding the Audit Committee for lack of fonts (I've read that there are often problems w / Verdana in the layers panel...) to restore settings preference... nothing worked and I could not find an entry unique forum on this issue...

    The file I use is a plug-in to a photo book, however, the layers Panel does not work correctly even if I create a new document in full...

    In Illustrator, it works perfectly, showing all the objects and paths on a layer...

    Thanks a lot for your comments and help!

    When you select an object it must be a square of light color on the right edge of the layer name. Drag on the new layer. Or you can cut and paste in place on the new layer (to paste remembers layers off).

  • How to enlarge the layers panel?

    can I enlarge my layers panel? pretty hard to see.

    There are several ways that you can develop the layers panel, according to the way that your tool panels is ready.

    The first option is to hover over the top of the layers panel border, until you get a vertical arrow double-ended (the screenshot below displays the arrow as a hand, but you should see an arrow). When it appears, click and drag to the top. According to the other panels, you opened, you will not be able to drag it to the top. This was the case for me, since I have other two panels open above my layers panel:

    The second option is to use the handle on the lower right of the layers panel, as shown in the screenshot below. When you hover over this handle, you will see an arrow diagonal amphidromous. When you see this, click and drag down. In my case, since there are no other signs open under the layers panel, I was able to expand the layers panel to the bottom of my screen:

    A third option is to 'float' the layers panel. To do this, click and hold on the bar menu in the layers panel, as shown below. Then, slide the Panel to the side of your screen. You can then change the size of the Panel by using the handle specified in the previous step.

    If you want to increase the size of the thumbnail of the layer (the little picture next to the names of layers, as we can see in the screenshots above), click the menu on the right side of the layers panel:

    In the drop-down menu, select "Control Panel Options."... »

    You can then choose a size that fits your needs in the options box that appears.

    A quick edit: If you know you are going to need on a regular basis a large sign layers, click on the drop down menu by far at the top right of the image to Photoshop application. In this list, select "Essentials" or "Reset Essentials". This will automatically reorganize your tool panels so that the layers panel is expanded, as shown below (click to enlarge).

  • Fill vs. opacity in the layers panel

    I don't understand how the filling works in the layers panel.  I understand how opacity affect the layers but funny, something happens when you use fill to decrease the opacity and then merge layers.  I don't use, but I'm sure he has a special purpose.

    Using CS4 on mac

    Thanks in advance

    Filling will adjust the opacity of only real pixels on a layer. It will not adjust things like the Layer Styles because the pixels are not actually on the layer.

    Opacity adjust all of the visible content of a layer

    It is quite easy to see the difference...

    Make 2 layers. Draw a rectangle on the two layers. Add the layer Style > race for the two rectangles. Adjust a layer to have 50% fill and the other to have 50% opacity.

  • Expand/collapse PanelBox behave differently on wls integrated and stand-alone wls

    12.1.3 jdev

    WebLogic 12.1.3

    I have a test page which Expand/Collapse PanelBox according to a logic managed bean when a button is clicked. User can also manually click on the small triangle to open/close the group box.

    If I run my integrated weblogic Server page of jdev, everything works fine. PanelBox develops or reduced depending on the result of my bean managed after that I click on a button. After that I have manually expand/collapse it, by clicking the button again can expand or collapse the group box.

    But when I deploy my test on stand-alone weblogic server, by clicking on the button can expand/collapse the box. But if I manually expand/collapse the box for once, while clicking on the button after will not not expand/collapse the box not more.

    I check all the associated adf jars on integrated wls and wls autonomous. I have not noticed any difference.

    No idea why the same code behaves differently on different servers? Any suggestions that pot I should double check?

    Thank you.

    The difference has something to do with the doctors that we have configured on wls. We did the following and now the panelbox open/close correctly.

    1 Add a class to extend ComponentChangeFilter.

    SerializableAttribute public class RejectPanelComponentChangeFilter extends ComponentChangeFilter {}

    @SuppressWarnings("compatibility:-4979717484313581204")

    private public static final long serialVersionUID =-3565272558295489717 L;

    public RejectPanelComponentChangeFilter() {}

    Super();

    }

    Public ComponentChangeFilter.Result accept (ComponentChange, componentChange, UIComponent uIComponent) {}

    If (RichPanelBox instanceof uIComponent & "disclosed".equals (((AttributeComponentChange) componentChange) .getAttributeName ()) ") {}

    Return ComponentChangeFilter.Result.REJECT;

    }

    else {}

    Return ComponentChangeFilter.Result.ACCEPT;

    }

    }

    }

    2 and in the bean of backup of the page with panelBox on the PanelBox setter, follow these steps:

    {} public void setFinderCriteriaPanelBox (RichPanelBox finderCriteriaPanelBox)

    this.finderCriteriaPanelBox = finderCriteriaPanelBox;

    int filterCount = ((UIXComponentBase) finderCriteriaPanelBox) .getComponentChangeFilters () .length;

    If (filterCount == 0) {}

    finderCriteriaPanelBox.addComponentChangeFilter (new RejectPanelComponentChangeFilter());

    }

    }

  • Found and lost in the layers of the CC PS 2015 can be selected in the document, not only in the layers panel?

    Seriously, I don't know if it's a FigNewton of my imagination or a real change in the Photoshop workspace, but when I started using PS CC 2015, a few months ago, I found myself moving layers on the screen simply by clicking on it in the document and moving them, instead going to the layers panel , by choosing the correct layer, then return to the document and move the layer or change. Is this a real change or I dream? Especially, if it's an option, I can't do more. He stopped. How do I resurrect it?

    Automatic selection / auto-move has been there for several versions. Check your settings of the tool at the top when you use the move tool.

  • Place in the layers panel

    I used to be able to see the selection tool and layer I was working in InDesign, and now he's disappeared. When I try to move an object to another layer, I can't go in the layers panel and use the selection box to drag because he went to a new layer. Is there a setting to turn this back on?
