expdp with metadata

I have the diagram with 200 paintings.

I want expdp only metadata, in addition to that, I need data expdp for only two tables.

What is the best option to achieve this?

Can I use expdp, content = metadata_only, inlcude = (tab1, tab2)?

What is the best option to achieve this?

happy expdp = metadata_only
expdp include = (tab1, tab2)

  • EXPDP with FLASHBACK_SCN/HOUR

    It will take more time to take backup EXPDP with FLASHBACK_SCN/FLASHBACK_TIME? If so, what will be the difference?

    Hello

    My guess is it would depend. When a table is exported using datapump, the table is always exported on a regular basis. Let's say you have a table that is partitioned with 10 scores and say that the export job is parallel = 1. This means that each partition is exported in series. It could be minutes between partitions, or if they are more than enough, maybe even hours. When the datapump assigns the first partition to be exported, he remembers the SNA and use it for all partitions of the same table, so, even if you do not specify a value of flashback, flashback is always used for partitioned tables. Now, if your database lacks all the partitioned tables, so no flashback would be.

    If the performance would vary according to what looks like your database. If you have many partitioned tables, then I think that performance is not necessarily noticeable because Data Pump is already using the return of flame. If you have not all the partitioned tables and you use flashback, you can see a performance hit since all data would be exported using flashback.

    In addition, flashback is used that for data, it is never used for metadata. So, if you have a lot of data, you can see more than a performance hit if you don't have a lot of data.

    As the difference between the time of flashback and flashback Yvert, DataPump converts the time of flashback for a value of SNA. So once this conversion takes place, the value of SNA is used for all data unload.

  • 12.1.0.2.0 Oracle expdp with %U.dmp is not resolved

    Hello

    I have a problem with Oracle 12.1.0.2.0 when using expdp with %U in the name of dumpfile the %U won't solve a certain number and decided instead of the letter U, see below, for example.

    Schemas EXPDP = SCHEMA_NAME dumpfile=LOADING_DIR:DMP_%U.dmp logfile = LOG.txt filesize = 100 M

    The output is a dumpfile called 'DMP_U.dmp', errors of export with ORA-39095: dump file space is exhausted.

    Thanks a lot for your help.

    Windows uses % as a special symbol for the expansion of environment variables. Either put the arguments in a file parameter as already suggested or discover escape the % character in command of Windows scripts. It may just be a case of double the % or it could be something else entirely.

  • expdp with the Oracle Wallet closed?

    Can you expdp with the Oracle Wallet closed without receiving an error ORA... I guess not, because I can NOT FIGURE IT OUT...

    Hey Joe,

    Not possible AFAIK. The encryption associated with command line switches all wear them on encrypting the dump files and nothing else. The only way for datapump to read the data of transparent data encryption is if the portfolio of database level is open. This is possible at the level of the database with an alter database command.

    I think you're out of luck, you'd have to somehow coordinate when you extract with when the team opens the wallet.

  • WebService to Check - in with metadata only

    Hello

    I want to check in the new metadata only document in WCC by WebService.

    I tried using "createPrimaryMetaFile" but it doesn't work.

    < chec:property >

    < chec:name > createPrimaryMetaFile < / chec:name >

    true < failure: value > < / failure: value >

    < / chec:property >

    Only metadata option is enabled in the configuration and when the user perform check-in to check in the page with metadata only checked it works perfectly.

    How can I do the same thing in a WebService call?

    Thank you.

    I think that the fundamental error here is that the parameter is added to the application filed in Soap UI manually or according to the IDE you use.

    You must do the following steps:

    1. open the Console of the AAU and navigate to Administration - Soap WSDL - CheckIn - Edit - CheckinUniversal - Edit - from the top of the menu page drop down select request update settings

    2. now, under the application the following must be true:

    Name: createPrimaryMetaFile

    Type: area: boolean

    Leave the rest of the fields as-is.

    3 update

    4. Select WSDL in the upper left corner

    5. under Actions - select Generate WSDL and confirm that it shows "the WSDL files have been generated successfully."

    6. now download the CheckinWSDL from the Complutense University of Madrid

    7 import in the IDE and recreate the request

    8. here you will see the createPrimaryMetaFile option (by default it is like this:)

    ?

    9. change the '? ' to 1 and run the query.

    Confirm if it works well or not.

    I gave these steps in the event that it has not been done, if done then just re - confirm the steps.

    I even tested on my internal test environment, it worked fine.

    I hope this helps.

    Thank you

  • Work with metadata vCloud in PowerCLI

    Based on the post of Jake Robinson to GeekAfterFive - Infrastructure as a Code, it seems that the sample scripts in Alan Renoufof March 30, 2012 post on the Blog of VMware PowerCLI, working with metadata in PowerCLI vCloud, won't work with vCloud Director 5.1. Nobody has changed the Get-CIMetaData function to return the value of the TypedValue element? After removing the Select-Object cmdlet (to select all the properties and see what is returned):

    PS > Get-Org-name CloudSandbox | Get-CIVM | Get-CIMetaData

    Domain: VMware.VimAutomation.Cloud.Views.MetadataDomainTag

    Key: Test key

    Value:

    TypedValue: VMware.VimAutomation.Cloud.Views.MetadataStringValue

    Client: VMware.VimAutomation.Cloud.Views.CloudClient

    HREF: [removed]/metadata/SYSTEM/Test%20Key

    Type: application/vnd.vmware.vcloud.metadata.value+xml

    Link            : {, , }

    Get_anyattr:

    VCloudExtension:

    The type of the value is provided (MetadataStringValue), but so far I could not get the value of TypedValue element. What Miss me?

    After walking away from it for a bit, I realized that a simple update to the process of the Alan code block would get me what I'm after:

    {In process

    {Foreach ($Object in $CIObject)

    If {($Key)

    ($Object.ExtensionData.GetMetadata ()). MetadataEntry | Where {$_.} Key - eq $key} | Select @{N = "CIObject"; {E = {$Object.Name}}, ExpandProperty - TypedValue of key

    } Else {}

    ($Object.ExtensionData.GetMetadata ()). MetadataEntry | Select @{N = "CIObject"; {E = {$Object.Name}}, ExpandProperty - TypedValue of key

    }

    }

  • expdp/impdp metadata in clear text

    11.2.0.1 done a quick search on the Forum and on google and can't find what I'm looking for.

    Ran the following:
    expdp full=y content=metadata_only dumpfile=exp_full_metadata.dmp logfile=exp_full_metadata.log exclude=table exclude=index
    Now, I want to enter the metadata in a kind of plain text file, so I can look at and copy sections. With IMP we could simply display the ddl on the screen and not import-is there a similar means to do this with IMPDP?

    for example we had with Imp: import settings 'Show': http://docs.oracle.com/cd/B10500_01/server.920/a96652/ch02.htm#1014036
    See the FACILITY*.
    Default: n
    When SHOW = y, the content of the export file is listed on the screen and not imported. The SQL statements contained in the export are displayed in the order in which to import run them.
    The SHOW parameter can be used only with the FULL = y

    Hello

    SQLFILE=file.sql

    is what you need

    DataPump it is also likely that the transformations you want to do can also be done from the command line rather than having to manipulate a text file - how you really want to change?

  • Can I mark videos with metadata / the camera angle before creating a multiclip sequence?

    Very well. Apologies... with regard to the first, I'm afraid that I'm a great beginner "Multiclip" so can follow the stupid questions...

    I created sequences multiclip and here to mark the clips from each camera with the appropriate angle label before creating the multiclip sequence (for example tag all clips belong to the CAM A as 'Angle 1', tag all the clips belonging to cam B tag such as "Angle 2"etc.) ... If the generated sequences are created with all of the same clips / camera angle on a specified single track (for example all A cam clips on track 1, all B cam clips on track 2, etc.).

    Is this possible?

    For the moment, it seems to be generating sequences containing hundreds of separate beaches, one for each element, which is a bit of pain to play. All likelihood that I stuffed up some settings somewhere... I don't see the options for 'Assignment of the track' during timecode synchronization, which offers to assign the label of the camera or camera Angle, but for the life of me, I can't find where the actually tag my videos with these data.

    Thanks in advance

    Hello

    You must use the settings file. Another question, I see you are using 11g. Why don't you use a data pump.?
    Data pump is faster and has more features and that regular improvement imp and exp.

    You can do the following:

    sqlplus / as sysdba

    Create directory DPUMP_DIR3  for 'Type here your os path that you want to export to';

    then tap on a file:
    Touch par.txt

    In this file, type the following line the following:

    tables=schema.table_name
    dumpfile=yourdump.dmp
    DIRECTORY=DPUMP_DIR3
    logfile=Your_logfile.log
    QUERY =abs.texp:"where hiredate>'01-JAN-13' "

    then proceed as follows
    expdp username/password name parfile = 'par.txt'

    You will import to Oracle 11 g to 10g version should add 'version = 10' parameter in the above setting file

  • Accelerate the expdp with PARALLEL work and the size of the settings FILE

    Every day we save 6 patterns with a total area of 80 GB.
    Oracle documentation, I think the PARALLELS servers work well when we split the dump file, because each slave process can work with a separate file.
    But I don't know how many parallel processes should be generated and the number of files this dump file must be split?

    How many parallel processes you need, it's something you can figure out to run the tests against your db, but if you have parallel set to N, then you have at least N dump files in order to use fully all parallel threads spawned. We take backups using parallel = 6 and dumpfile is normally set to dumpfile=dbname.%u.dmp where oracle expands %u necessary if you do not explicitly list individual files.

  • Problems with metadata XMP in PDF/A

    Hi all

    I am a historic project of conversion of pdf to pdf/a for archiving format. I am consistantly encountering problems with the xmp is not predetermined patterns. This one in particular keeps giving me error messages during conversion through Preflight, despite the fact that as far as I know, this IS a pre-set plan.

    http://ns.Adobe/Xap/1.0/mm/xmpMM:history

    Unfortunately I can't find any way to delete it and have no chance with the correction to convert the Document metadata. I'm using Acrobat 9. Any tips?

    It is a known problem that has been fixed in Acrobat XI. For earlier versions, you need to delete data objects of xmpMM manually before the PDF/A conversion stage - there is a free script that will add a new menu item.

    While on other servers, I see expdp is able to start writing in several files simultaneously. Here is the example of newspaper
