  I have a Dell power edge server with 2 Configuration of disks 1 TB in raid 0

  I can install a Win Server 2008 R2 and SQL 2008 R2 on a VD without problem, but I do not see the other disk of TB in option within Windows Server to be used as storage SQL only.

  How can I get the two disks to appear in Windows server?

  what I want is:

  First Dell 1 TB drive VD = Server 2008R2 and SQL on C:\

  Second VD Dell 1 TB drive = D:\ like disk storage

  You basically configure the virtual machine that you want on all the available storage (do not forget to keep free space, for example snapshots). -As I understand it - is so that ESXi does not see the storage! This is often caused by the RAID controllers not taken in charge or the RAID issues. Please check if the RAID controller is supported as well as the configuration. BTW. Why do you want to configure RAID0? If you want to create two virtual disks on warehouses of separate data anyway, simply present to ESXI as two separate disks/volumes.

• Dual boot ESX 3.5 possible in Windows Server 2008?

  I was wondering if it was possible to dual boot ESX 3.5with Windows Server 2008 with Hyper-V.  The reason why I asked, is that we have a partner who likes to play with these two products, but has only 2 servers, and since you need 2 + cluster servers to use the capabilities of the company in both products if we dualboot for him he would save him money that he wouldn't buy more than two servers.

  I have a little problem with my WS2K8R2 DHCP role. I have successfully setup the role & authorized, it now serves customers on the network, but for some reason, does not provide an address of gateway by default with the lease, so unless I have manually assign the address DG on the client, it cannot access the internet.

  The DG address is my Internet gateway. I did not like the system DHCP built in & wanted to use DHCP WS.

  Any suggestions?

• How to configure server DHCP of VMware Server 2 to play nice on my network?

  I have 8 physical systems running on a network.

  A system running VMware Server 2 on it.

  Server DHCP of Server2 provides virtual machines with IPs on the 192.168.106 network and they all work fine, all virtual machines find each other and physical systems too.

  My wireless router is a DHCP server which provides boxes of physical IPs on the 192.168.2 network and works very well between physical systems.

  The problem occurs when a physical systems trying to access a virtual machine.

  All virtual machines are set to run in NAT mode, I tried no succcess one either bridged mode.

  The VMs system static IPs on the 192.168.2 network also fails miserably as all of my attempts to set masks subnet on all systems.

  I think I need to 'fix' the VMware Server 2 DHCP server, but have not yet find data on this topic, and I'm not sure that if I do this will help.

  Any solution here would be FANTASTIC.

  Past esxi was not really going to do this I feel even if you have not installed - it is really intended for high-end package rather than SATA based servers while sort will work on some.

  Their reason to exceed the NAT is filled? What is the host operating system? Please post ipconfig/all or ifconfig - an output of the host and the guest. How have you configured in bridge network - using the default settings? Virtual machines get an IP address from your router?
