Explanation of the VI

Hello everyone

I'm a VI for the connection. But now I have a problem to explain the VI. I took here and there information and

successfully make the VI. I've seen many examples online only

they use

the current user account - index array-decrement and in the structure of matter again once there is an array of index but with constant1.

I don't understand why it is that way. Can someone please help

I'll be very grateful

  • How descriptions or explanations of the rules and easily accessible rulesets for the end user?

When rules/rulesets are not configured to run on record in forms, users must run manually, either via the form or via the Tools-Business Rules (BTW: aren't fair rules now that CalcMan is forced?).

Is there a way to users could easily access a longer description of the different rules and rulesets?  I like that we can add accessible instructions for forms of data, but I can't seem to get more planning than the 'name' of rules / rulesets with the role of Planner.

There is not a Lane exit from the box to provide a textual content on run from the section of business rules management rules.  There is a way of comments, instructions and explanations in the rule to put, but a user would need to go in Calc Manager to access.  It can also be given on the forms that you mention, and finally, instructions and explanations can be given text information using Task Manager so users will run the business through this interface rule.

  • Explanation of the BR

    Hi all

First post - please, be gentle.

I'm looking for an explanation of the syntax for code in a BR (we had consultants in the development of our system and I'm trying to tackle some of the rules they put in place, in the hope that someday, someone will pay me 1 trillion pounds per day to do the same for them.)

There was some patches previously, definition of the members of the entity at the lowest level.

    The code as follows:

    "xxxx" * @MEMBER (@CONCATENATE (@SUBSTRING (@NAME (@PARENT (@CURRMBR ("Entity"))), 0, 4), "undisclosed")) *-> "xxxx".

    From what I can understand:
XXXX will be multiplied by a member % undisclosed
The % is generated by taking the entity dimension, using names of members of the Parent of the level 0 of entity members (as previously set) and the first 4 letters of the name of this member - I can see that the substring is working with 0 and 4. is it just the starting point (0) and (4) endpoint of the text to take?

    Making all that noise OK?

I am compiling slowly my own list of orders with explanations as I work through the rules (from Internet research) and own understanding, are downloads Oracle my best bet for this?

Anyone has the text of "look more intelligent that you are" for Essbase 11? Ask you to stick on the list for Santa...

Thank all the time to answer.

    JB

    Hello

The syntax below, it does the following
1 CURRMBR returns the current entity specified in your fix
2 PARENT returns the Member of the Member's parent returned by 1.
    3. NAME converts the Member returned by 2 to use as a parameter to substring
4 SUBSTRING(your_member_name_here, 0, 4) returns 4 characters of your_member_name_here from position 1. So if your string is "your_member_name_here", the result will be "your."
    5. CONCATENATE will add 2 strings together, in your case, this is what is returned by 4 and "undisclosed".
6 MEMBERS converts the string returned by 5 back to Essbase member since the form requires Essbase member to use and not a string.

I've seen excerpts of the book Look more intelligent and it seems to be a good start for beginners.

  • 101: explanation of the tools in the Panel?

I'm going through the tutorials but seem to Miss where I can find an explanation of the tool panels and their functions. The tutorials do not necessarily explain it (sometimes they do).

    Hello

Very well! So let's start with gold playhead in the timeline panel. This is different from the PIN tool, because that's literally what you can use to define where you want keyframes to be manually in your timeline. You can also use this to navigate backwards in the timeline by clicking on the read head gold and drag through the timeline. This is also known as rub. The best way to think of the read head is to be considered as a "bookmark" in your timeline.

The Pin tool is a great little tool that is unique on board animate. Significantly, it improves your productivity while animating and eliminates the need from keyframe to the hand.

With the selected PIN tool, you will notice a blue pin in your timeline. You can click and drag this PIN back and forth to set a literal "PIN" in your timeline. When you do so, you will notice that your head stays in place. It is because what makes the tool of corner is literally "remembers" where your head is and then act as a second head for you so that you can keyframe with ease.

Thus, for example, if you have a rectangle with an opacity of 100% at 0 seconds. If you click on the tool spindle and slide forward in the timeline to 1 second and then change the opacity to 0%, the Pin will be keyframe for you opacity to 0 seconds and 1 second, which makes the task of animating this transition easier. The rectangle fade from 0% to 100% opacity over a second.

Another point to remember about the PIN tool, it's you will notice little rafters in the blue bar that extends from the time you dragged your corner tool. The rafters help explain where your animation is transient. They stress also everywhere where is your head. You can move the playback cursor in front of the PIN tool to have your key frame be the change of departure.

As with our example before, if you have your rectangle to 100% opacity and you have selected the tool pin so you move the playback cursor forward. You can change the opacity to 0% and the rectangle now fade from 100% to 0% more than one second.

I'll explain the image auto key and automatic transition in a second post tools. I hope this helps explain the tool spindle and the read head better!

  • Need a detailed explanation of the notifier wait

I did research notifiers for awhile now, but I am still confused by some of the explanations using LabVIEW.  Could someone please help me on this?  I can't understand what this means...

If ignore previous set to FALSE, each instance of the waiting on the Notification from multiple backgrounds to notify the service expects that if it did not receive notification. If one or more of the notifiers have newer messages that the timestamp has recently received by this function, the function returns all messages. Otherwise, the function expects.

If ignore previous set to TRUE, this function always expects a new message, even if the message notice is one that she has never seen before.

This feature does not remove the message from the author of the notification. Even if a specific instance of the function returns a message only once, other instances of the function or the function Wait on Notification repeat the message until you call the function to send a Notification with a new message.

I've been through the examples, but I still don't seem to get it.  Any help is appreciated and will be kudoed.

If the Ignore is set to TRUE, it means that the wait... going to sit and wait for a new notification.  This new notification will have to occur AFTER the wait... started waiting.  If a notification that happened before the wait... started to wait, that notification will be ignored.

Where I came across a problem was that I was using some filers to communicate between two subsystems and I came on a race as an Envoy condition data and waited for an acknowledgement, but the answer of the acknowledgement of receipt was fast enough that it was sent before the start of the waiting on the Notification.  And so I got errors.  Fortunately I had waiting times.

  • Red marks for explanation on the files selected.

Shortly after replacing hard drive of my laptop, I started to see the red exclamation points on the selected files.

In my case, what happens in all my files from the user's personal library (documents, photos, and video).

    If i:

-Left click on the icon of my departure, then

-Left click on the user's personal library; I see red exclamation points on my Docs, Photo & Video files.

When I open the Doc or Photo library, only a few files have the point.  What worries me is that I have NO Video files of myself, as the folder of the sample.  It is NOT an exclamation point on all the files in the video library, but it does not appear when you view the video file at the stage of the user library.

I don't know why it's happening and it seems that no one else is.

I look forward to an explanation and a cure.

  • Explanation of the advanced options of MPEG2

Can someone explain - or point me to a resource that explains - these options in the settings of MPEG2?

    • Macroblock quantization?
    • VBV buffer size?
    • (Sensitivity/reduction) noise control?
    • Write SDE?
    • Intra DC Precision (bits 09/08/10)? (during tests 10bits gave much better results especially with graphics and scenes that are mostly white.)
    • Ignore the frame interval?

We are looking in using MPEG2 as a delivery and/or archiving codec and trying to get as close as possible to quality ProRes 422.

We tried broadband H264 and MPEG2, with excellent results. But MPEG2 gave amazing results with MUCH smaller files (about 15% of the ProRes.)

Try to understand these additional settings to optimize our conversion.

In addition, as a first step, I used the default settings of GOP frames of M 3 and 15 N, but with the size of the GOP of 1. Then I tried to deal with M and N to 1, but, against all odds, the outcome was worse, especially for graphics. It's not logical for me. I thought using I-frames was supposed to reduce artifacts?

AHA! Found the explanation of some elements:

When the speed/quality choice is 'Specify the quality', the next control is a slider that controls the quality. It's actually the macroblock quantization MPEG level. Valid values are from 2 to 31. Low this variable values mean better quality and higher throughput, so 2 is the highest quality and 31 is the lowest quality.

When the choice of the quality/Bitrate '"specify DΘbit' or 'Specify the quality' audio, the next control is a slider that controls the VPV MPEG service size of the buffer in units of 16 k bits. The meaning of this parameter is confusing because it is used to help predict if the MPEG decoder could suffer from buffer overflow or cost overruns. VBV buffer over/under flow are more often a problem in CBR mode. If the important objects are present in the generated movie, try to increase this setting.

  • Looking for an explanation behind the monthly billing.

I'm looking for an explanation as to why Adobe decided to make their programs require billing monthly one-time vs.

I'm using CS5 as soon as now (I used it since it was released) and am happy with it - that is, until I got a new MacBook which has the Retina display, which results in image quality and fuzzy interface when editing. (Same applies to Microsoft Office)

Then... I went to buy the new Photoshop Illustrator, etc., to see that they only let you use it through monthly billing. Why? I'd rather 'clean' my own copy of Adobe to have programs to pay every month as World of Warcraft and other games online.

    Thank you in advance!

I don't know if it will help with your new Mac, but you can always buy CS6 with a perpetual license Creative Suite 6

In regards to why... There was a HUGE amount of discussion 2 + years when the switch attempted to Cloud perpetual license

I have all the links to these old debates, so all I now is that today's software are subscription only

  • Need explanation of the content of the profile folder

Recently trying to solve a problem with double emails from Thunderbird to a particular account, I accidentally deleted this account and lose all my files a lot, a lot. I managed to resurrect some using Webmail, but many have been lost. I see that I have 6 ISP files in the folder profiles/Mail: mail.bigpond.com, then mail.bigpond - 1. and on mail.bigpond - 5., the latter is so the new account, I put in place after losing the previous. I checked all the mail.bigpond - 4. I found Inbox.sbd and it contains the missing files.

Why are there so many files like this? Should I not I need one? I need to use the one with the missing files. How can I go about restoring it?

    Thank you

You should make sure that there are no mail that you want to keep in a any of these other folders before you delete.
Also create a full backup of your profile before you delete something and create backups on a regular basis in the future.

  • Someone at-explanation of the ERROR: F3-F000-0008?

In November, a man posted that he had to use his recovery disk which resulted in the following experience:

"I ran straight afterwards, the recovery disk in what, in my view, is called the start menu? Anyway, after a few minutes I kept getting an error message that has something to do with 'Preinst.swm file. After a couple of times of clicking 'continue' and see this same error message by clicking 'ignore' and running the 2nd DVD, an error message "error: F3-F000-0008". "»

Now I assume that the error preinst.swm is due probably to a scratch in the recovery disc, or some fault in the DVD that I used and not with the portable reality itself. I need just confirmation from you guys on this subject. »

The result was essentially - who knows, good luck.

I get the same error, has worked with technical support over the phone for 2 hours and ended up with - who knows, good luck.

    Help, please!

    Hello

Looks like an error with the disks. Sometimes they can be unbalanced in the hard drive, or they can be damaged somehow.

See if you can use other bootable discs to test this, if they work, you may need to contact Toshiba to get some new drives.

    I hope this helps. :)

Yes, I've read this discussion, but it does exactly what a channel name was, as I had an output "channel".

I went back to my program just to give it a shot, I typed in the name of the channel in a digital 1 and it worked.

I still don't know what it is, but at least it will communicate now.
