• The Explorer Windows not to see the recently saved files

  Recently, after saving the Word or Excel files in a specific directory, they do not appear in windows Explorer. They also do not appear in the dialog box inside my e-mail program when I try to attach them to an email.   I can also repeatedly "save under" file in the same directory, with the same file name, and windows asks me if I want to replace the existing file - it seems that windows really does not see the file. However, if I save the file to the "desktop" and then copy it from there to the offending directory, then windows tells me that the file already exists and asks me if I want to overwrite. If I say no, and then to go to windows Explorer, then suddenly, the file is displayed.
  I saw some similar questions in this forum, but I didn't know the answers to this problem.
  I am running a new version of Windows 7 Home Premium with Office 2010 on a new HP desktop computer (from 9/12).

  If it worked the first time, there is no reason that it will not work the second time on the same computer, as long as the Windows 7 is a full version.

  Does anyone know why you can't display RAW .dng thumbnails of image files in the file Explorer Windows 8.1 even with the Microsoft Camera Codec Pack installed.

  Other RAW files appear as thumbnails without problem (e.g. Nikon. NEF files). I could see dng thumbnails in Windows 7, but not with Windows 8.1. Perhaps, Adobe did not share the appropriate information. for Microsoft to get there?

  I know this thread is a bit old, but sometimes 2nd research google (15/07/15).

  This Adobe DNG Codec works in point 8.1.  Its slow generate thumbnails, as against cr2 but works.
