export a scene

I take advantage of this program and have completed a scene.  I exported and then tried to import into AE.  It seems to have imported okay as a png sequence but the pace seems off.  I switched it to 24 fps via the link "film" but that does not yet seem to do. The file audio wav coincide with the animation.  I tried different cadences and play with the audio, but without success.  Any tips on what I could do wrong?

Thank you very much!

D

The character scene was set at 24 frames per second? If you use the file > Scripts > Comp new character script host record (select the first file in the PNG sequence exported), it should be the import of the PNG sequence and the WAV file for you, interpret the sequence PNG based on the frame rate of the stage.

How much audio and video layer times out of? If the reading is in the character, make sure there is no virus scanning or backup process running during the export process. Maybe also try to temporarily disable the camera input and mic input before exporting it to see if that helps.

  • Basic function ideas - choose the length to export / scene duplicate / easy to select all the performance to delete within the scene

While using character animation I just had some ideas for features which can improve the user experience, I'm sure that you already have some of them in the works, and maybe some are already here, but just in case where they are here:

-When you export a scene be able to choose the start and end of the scene you want to export via a dialog similar to how it works with premiere pro. For now, it seems that you can export the entire scene. (You can always change the length of the scene within the editing area of scene or adjust performance thereafter, but it can reduce render times)

-The ability to reproduce a scene by clicking right (like how you can duplicate layers in other adobe products) - this would make it easy to copy all the parameters of a scene as head, eyes gaze tilit force ect.

    -Save the project under function

-Possibility to make animation in a button earrings (just say I put a folder name to walk sequence (1!) in photoshop, it would be cool if when I press 1 keypad it rotate between images in the folder, then I could make the character walk or other functions (you can then position tween character after going in sequels) also have the ability to set framework inbetween calendar change) (I saw a feature like this in the timeline of photoshops when working with animations)

It is a great program with an extreme amount of potential for the animation industry!

-Choose the length of time of the beginning and the end of the scene

Yes. No doubt necessary. The AE and PR have workspace toolbar and I think this is the direction that we are heading towards as well.

-The ability to reproduce a scene by clicking right (like how you can duplicate layers in other adobe products) - this would make it easy to copy all the parameters of a scene as head, eyes gaze tilit force ect.

I think already works, but it's Ctrl + D / CMD + D. I'll add a feature here request lift menus contextual and running for operations like this.

    -Save the project under function

CH is a very interesting model, which is quite a bit different from the apps we all know and love. On the positive side, you can keep your history of any cancellation, even after the abandonment of the app. We * definitely * need a way to save revisions, but we will probably in the form of 'snapshots' who live within your project. For now, you can duplicate your project folder, but we recognize that this isn't a good solution in the long run (or even in the medium term).

-Possibility to do loops run within a key

Yay. We can do it. Look at our ' cycle layers ' and behaviors "keyboard triggers. Together, they are very powerful. The 'examples' project posted in the forum has examples of this work.

-It is a great program with an extreme amount of potential for the animation industry!

Thank you! We are very excited about it. We know we have a long way to go, but we will improve the application of every day.

As Jerry, it's fallout of a bug of SOUL involving non-standard width. We have a bug on this issue internally as well. I'll add another + 1 on this bug. For what it's worth, while I'm not an expert of low-level video format, I found that all the cases that I have seen this problem could be solved by changing the width to something divisible by 16 (even if it is hidden by another question in the extract 4 where SOUL it must be revived for a resolution change is taken into account).

In any case, I thought I would mention that because it can allow you to make a less disruptive change to the resolution of your export and always work around the bug.

  • The size of the exported file is larger than the original

    Hello

I have a new camcorder (Legria HF 56) and when I want to export a scene of the iss to largest file size that it's original.

An example: the scene (video-AVCHD. MTS) is: 03:30 min, 1440 x 1080, Framerate 25 frames per seconds, 174 MB

the file exported (.) M2T - H264 1440x1080i 25) is 651 MB bis. Is it possible and how can I fix this problem?

    Best regards

    Richard

It is not uncommon, since it is unlikely that you are using the same characteristics for your output file as your input file.

It is virtually impossible to get an output that is the same size as your entry.

What will you do with your output file? It is best to think in terms of your output - Blu - Ray, DVD, online, iPad, whatever - and then produce a file optimized for this device.

  • FLA with a bunch of scenes... shoot scenes in sovereign wealth funds?

I have a FLA, Flash CS4 using AS3 file... I have a few scenes, and I want to turn them into SWF files without copying the images of the scene in a new FLA file. I was hoping there would be an option to convert scenes in SWFs.In the end I would still have all the scenes in a FLA file... so the purpose of this request isn't splicing scenes in new FLA files, is to quickly export a scene in a SWF file.

In addition, I'm not well versed in AS3, so if the solution requires code lines please be so kind as to elaborate. Very happy.

    Thank you very much!

If you change any scene, you can go to control > test scene.

Flash compiles a SWF of your scene that live in the same folder as your main swf file.

the file has a name like myMovieName_SceneName.swf

  • Problem with IMovie and Quick time

    Hey everybody,

I am faced with an unexpected problem with Quicktime and I Movie, and I was wondering if someone had already known that:

I want to create a film based on shots from my personal camera. I started to work with IMovie to create a sequence of opening and added his musical band. I exported the scenes in Quick Time format without any problem. However, when I merge the exported sequence of I film with shots of my video camera, the soundtrack is completely eliminated.

I checked on the Internet and saw that there might be a problem of "Codecs". To avoid this, I exported the sequence IMovie with Codecs of same as one of my video camera files.

Now, if I compare the files exported from I Movie and those of my video camera, they have identical characteristics. However, the soundtrack will always disappear when I merge them.

Could someone please help me solve this problem?

Thank you very much in advance.

Could someone please help me solve this problem?

Not only based on what you already said.

I want to create a film based on shots from my personal camera. I started to work with IMovie to create a sequence of opening and added his musical band. I exported the scenes in Quick Time format without any problem. However, when I merge the exported sequence of I film with shots of my video camera, the soundtrack is completely eliminated.

How would you"merge" files? (I.e. a "QuickTime" format is any form of data compatible with the platform of supply and the specific structure of QT incorporated into real employment that is stored in a container of MOV file on any of up to 99 tracks possible). Also, what app do you use for reading the file 'merged '? (For example, some media players ignore secondary audio tracks as a result of some methods of 'fusion' of files so it is important to know how the files are "merged," whether or not the audio data are "scattered" several tracks, and/or if the Media Player supports playback of multiple, sequential audio popular.)

I checked on the Internet and saw that there might be a problem of "Codecs". To avoid this, I exported the sequence IMovie with Codecs of same as one of my video camera files.

The specific codecs and settings using the specific version of iMovie? (The current Mac OS X operating systems have two X QT and 'classic' Qt integrated structure so it is important to know what structure is used here and how).

Now, if I compare the files exported from I Movie and those of my video camera, they have identical characteristics. However, the soundtrack will always disappear when I merge them.

As a general rule, you should review the file "merged" to determine why it does not play back correctly rather than comparing the characteristics of the source being merged files. The main problem here seems to be in your project workflow. That is, you seem to be when you perform an operation in two steps rather than edit several iMove multimedia files and then export the combined results in a video the video and audio tracks have been flattened and exported in standard compression formats with unified settings, features and the.

  • Bug with the embedded font.

    Hello

I have a strange bug with the font Cooper (Std Black Italic)...

Here are the parameters of line values I get from getLineMetrics (0):

    Ascent: 51.2

    descent: 51.2

    height: 102.4

It seems THAT the good in the editor... I don't know what to do. I reinstalled even the police. :/

Also, I have this problem with all fonts... or at least every 5 different fonts, I tried.

I finally fixed it by recreating the Mac fla file.

Looks like it is a problem with Windows.

  • Save the puppets separated

Is the oriented character, not the puppet oriented entertainment scene? I see no way to save a puppet updated, only seems capable of exporting a scene... How to generate and save separate puppets?

I have several 2D Photoshop files I make puppets. When I make the first condition in CA, I do a lot of changes to it. How can re - register the same puppet for later use? The only options I see are to export a scene...

So, if I understand correctly, you ask if the work accomplished facilitator character is saved. The answer is Yes, it is saved automatically.

It's a little different that there is no feature file/save in Ch, but all this to be saved. The last project workd on opens when the Ch is open, and there is an option to open the recent item under file.

  • Unable to run the script

    Hello

I'm playing with host character, and so far I love it.

However after exporting my scene and then trying to import using the AE

New model of character animator Recording.jsx

whenever I try to import the XML file, I get an error - Impossible to run the script on line 61.

    I'm doing something wrong?

    Thank you

Hi Phil... After you run the script, select the first PNG file from the exported sequence. The title bar for the import dialog box has similar instructions, but it is true that it is easy to miss.

  • How to get a character animation video

How to make an animated character in legacy video

Hi Mika... Character does export a PNG sequence (and the WAV file) when you export the scene. In After Effects, you would use the file > Scripts > new Comp character animator Recording.jsx script to import the exported scene. Once in AE, you can composite it with other elements, and then export it out of AE in a film format. Optionally, if you want to only convert the scene exported character in a film format, you can use Adobe Media Encoder - just drag the .xml file that has also been exported queue of the SOUL.

  • Editing Mode problem

    Hi guys

Don't know which forum to post what it implies PPR, but thought I'd start here. I am a beginner and you just create a small animation in AE to get the feel of things (a fantastic software, when I get my head around all its possibilities!)

My animation film has 2 layers of text (although only indicates in the properties of the publication) and a solid layer with a flare and an audio track. Initially, I thought I could export the scene over to something like an AVI or Mpeg file but found that my only options are swf, xfl or PPr I chose PPr because I would use this scene through several projects. But the opening in the PPr, I get an error message saying "Editing mode used by this sequence could not be loaded. This sequence will open in desktop mode. "I keep, but reading plays that light parasite and audio; 2 text layers are missing!

My 3 AE layer types are:

    audio layer: wav,.

Lens Flare layer: a solid with a record layer solid black inside, and

    Text layer: Composition

    My AE global settings are:

    25 1080 HDTV

    1920 x 1080 16:9 aspect locked

    Square pixels

    25 fps

    Full resolution

Everthing appears in AE reading and I'm not sure what I did wrong for the text to disappear in the PPr. Tips for pushing me in the right direction would be very welcome.

    Kind regards

    Graham

  • Panoramic scene vibrates when I export to MP4...?

I export a video of FCPX via the compressor, and it has a scene in it which is a panoramic scene.

I can not it looks well.  It vibrates as he pans.

Someone at - it advice on how to improve this scene, what settings (adaptive details etc?)  I used Retiming better and better and better, better resizing and both give similar poor results.

The original is not bad.   The original is 720 x 576 interlaced PAL 25 fps.  The MP4 file is Progressive 640 x 480, 25 frames per second.

    Any advice?

    Compressor settings:

    MultiPass H264

    Main

    CAVLC

    4125 Bitrate

    Quality: high

    Best/better

PPanning is always heavy - and especially so for interlaced material. I suggest two steps. Start by importing a Pro Res 422 version with noChanges in the settings. Then use it as a source file. Assign to CABAC entropy and all other settings for better.

    Russ

PA: draw progressive if you have the. Option.
