    With the clip that you want to export selected, go to the file menu > export > Media...

    and when the export side opens-

    Set JPEG or TIFF format, the output name will also set the destination for the images and be sure to have the export as sequence checked so that it generates all the photos in the form of consecutively numbered files.

  • Export Limited number of Images

    I want to export a series of images from a video, but only, say, a frame every three or four seconds. A person on all the images in the video 90 to 120. What is possible in AE, or what I need to do this in another program CC?

    I have a method that is easier than what Todd and Rick have suggested, assuming that you don't want to export specific images such as Todd is referenced script would do.

    1. Add your comp to the render queue.
    2. Open the render settings dialog box.
    3. In the frame rate box, choose use this cadence. Set the value to your desired interval. If you want 1 images / second, enter 1. If you want 1 image every 4 seconds, enter 0.25. (You can also simply enter 1/4. Easter Egg: AE can do math in numeric entry fields.)
    4. OK, the render settings dialog box.
    5. Change the settings of output as desired.* Module
    6. Start rendering.

    * I do not recommend using QuickTime, if your frame rate is less than 1. Use a format like PNG or TIFF image sequence instead. When I tested this method, making the successful file QuickTime but its import in caused AE AE start giving errors when trying to use the QuickTime files (the file has caused the QT32 crash server process). Sigh. I'll drop the tomorrow.* bug *.

    * UPDATED 2013-09-23: after the insulation and the bug filing, it is not as bad I found initially. The problem is isolated to the frame rate of 0.49 fps or less, and not all QuickTime codecs are the problem. Animation and ProRes are among those affected.

    Nevertheless, for this workflow, it is preferable to use image sequence formats.

  • How to export a series of images in different proportions at the same height

    How to export a series of images in different proportions at the same height?

    I have a slider callery for my Web site. all images must be of 750 Pixels high, that width is not serious.  I have a mixture of images of pandscap and protraite square, I can do the thing as an export or what I have to do it twice?  Once for the long edge and once for shooting edge?

    Thank you

    Yes, you can, but there is a thing for her.

    In the export as dialog boxSelect Widdth & height.

    Then enter 750 pixels in height.

    Place the cursor in the width field behind all the numbers that appear there and with the BACKSPACE key delete the numbers. If you enter "0" it will not accept that. But she accepts when you remove just the field for the width with the BACKSPACE key. The field width will now be just empty.

    When you export then images will have a height of 750 pixels and width will fall variously according to height then / ratio.

    Or alternatively, you can enter 7.5 "in height at a resolution of 100 dpi.

  • [CS3 JS] Get information about Photoshop images in InDesign

    Hello

    Thanks to an InDesign script I can get several pieces of information about an image, for example, the name of the file, the resolution in PPI, the size in inches, color mode, etc.

    What I was wondering if it is possible to know how many layers a Photoshop image can have. I would like a quick way to know if an image was flattened (layer) without having to open the image in Photoshop.

    Tom

    You can do it via BridgeTalk, here is an example. Select a TIF or PSD image and run the script.

    const gScriptName = "Get number of layers";
    const gScriptVersion = "1.0";
    var gLayersNumber;

                image = app.selection[0];
            }
            else if (app.selection[0].images.length > 0) {
                image = app.selection[0].images[0];
            }

  • How can I restore all images in a collection at the original imported proportions?

    In general, I select all images in a catalog, resize the first image to 640 x 480.  I then right click on the first image (all images are always selected) click settings to develop, sync and choose to sync only the proportions.  All images are then cut to 640 x 480 as the first picture, that I then export to a folder.

    Then I need to restore all the images in the original proportions for creating a slide show export to my Web site.  I followed the same procedure is selected all the images, click on the first image, change the original appearance, right click on the first picture and sync proportions for all images.

    The problem is that the rest images do not return to their original proportions, but return to the aspect ratio of 4 x 6 instead of the original size when they are imported.  I changed the lock open and tried both but still no result.  Now I have to select each image individually, open the dialog of cultures and choose custom to retrieve for the imported image format.

    How do I batch restore images from a collection to the image format when imported?

    I see, it is something you do at the end of your treatment, for the slide show to a Web site special... maybe you said it at the beginning, but I respond by e-mail and don't see any of these messages.

    In any case, what you can do is to export all your images with their existing to a subfolder (original) aspect ratio, somewhere and add those to the library using the parameter to the top near where you set the directory put them in, and then set a harvest of 4:3 on these imported JPGs and their re-export in 640 x 480 for the RMLS site.  If it is a unique thing for each collection, you could easily just delete both sets of jpg files to your library and the drive to keep the use of extra space, or at least those intermediate.  As you said, that it was a collection, perhaps from different folders, but if they all come from the same folder, to make the JPGs intermediaries and the jpg final 640 x 480 as subdirectories in the original in order to better RAWs keep track of them.

    I have a problem with the performance of publisher 2003 when the default printer is set to an aculaser Epson C900 since a laptop Toshiba Tecra A5.
    The editor runs slowly and has not all images. This works if the default printer is set to a different printer.

    Hi Simon

    You will be very happy if someone can give you a precise answer. As far as I know, he has no problems known with Microsoft products.

    If you see the Toshiba download page you will find instructions for facilities document stating the software preinstalled on your device. It is really not known to me that some of them can cause this strange problem. I recommend contacting Microsoft support because they have more experience with own products.

    Sorry but I have no other comment on your topic.
