  I started using the first less than two months ago and my tech video background is rather limited . I'm doing an art project where I am projecting two different projections on a large wall that are designed to be in harmony and interact with each other.   I intend to use two laptops, one for each projector.  This is a possible problem.  The docents Gallery in this gallery of the University will have to turn everything on every morning, having to click on both computers at the same time to synchronize the images play together perfectly.  That simple I'd like to think, I know year 19 former students who are the docents sometimes fail to grasp what is obvious.  Is there a way to take two project files and create a single file that could play for two projectors from a laptop outside?  As a split screen monitors?  That way they click on a button. I don't know if it's possible, it can't be.  I just thought to deal with this problem as possible before that happens.

  You can create a sequence on the front which is double width. For example, 1280 x 720 (720 p) becomes 2560 x 720, which is TWO 720 p side by side videos in a clip. For reading, you may be able to implement the graphics card settings to do it for you, or - get a Matrox DualHead2Go box. You must set the graphics card in your computer to the display size double width, such as 2560 x 720, and the single output of the computer goes in the DH2G unit, which separates the entry into two outputs independent of 1280 x 720.

  There are many models available, depending on whether you are working analog or digital graphics card. There is a ton of information available, including tools for configuration and testers to run on your system. It is important to seek and choose carefully, to make sure that the connections are compatible and that map display of your computer (and Matrox unit) will support both the specific resolution you are looking for.

  Hi David,

  There is a difference between the widgets of the composition and the slideshow widgets. Slideshow widgets have the option 'Add Images', and they automatically keep track of thumbnails for you. The widgets of composition (composition of lightbox included) are much more in the form of free, but don't take care of linking the slide automatically thumbnails.

  In your case, using a composition VisualLightBox works well. Here are some steps:

  -Place a composition of lightbox

  -Drag the Attorney profile photo image in one of the miniature areas

  -Drag the image to the biography on the slide for that profile picture

  Just to be clear, this is something that we have commented several times in the forum, Firefox Sync adds everything that is already in the device for the account and pushes this info for the rest of the devices.

  So if you have 2 computers with data X and the other with the data from there, once you set up synchronization in both computers you will have X + Y at the same time.

  I hope that clarifies the doubts...

  Try to go into System Preferences/iCloud and stop synchronization. Wait a few minutes, then recheck the timing.

  1. do you have a third party compression/extraction of software installed on your machine?
  2. do you get an error message when you try to extract the files?
  3. is the relevant question for the particular file type?
  4. don't you make changes to your computer before the problem?

  Follow the steps and check if they help.

  Open zip files is to open the folder and drag the content to another folder.

  I recently applied effects to a dossier of a cleaner noise adaptive and saved and exported the file as a .wav and MP3. Now I want to apply again the noise or, basically, to remove the effects that I applied. However, when I go to eliminate effects by going into the tab at the top right of the effects rack option to remove the effects is not highlighted and does not allow me to select.

  Does anyone know why this is? (A friend who uses Avid says he can reverse the removal of background noise) And, is there a way I can apply again the noise / remove the effect I applied?

  You can only cancel the Adaptive NR if you used in Multi-track mode, and you have the recorded session. You will need to go back to the original session and it cancel. But if you have, then the original file you used will always be intact anyway, like Multi-track is non-destructive.

  But if you did the NR in waveform mode to your original file and saved, well, then I'm afraid you're completely stuffed - save the file displays the result to him, and there is no possible "undo" mechanism, such as which relies on temporary files of the whole thing being recorded, and if you did with all that you would end up with a completely full hard drive without delay.   Thank you Joe Maniac.  I deleted the original linked files on my internal hard drive which were dng files, but had copies of the raw files edited and edited the exported raw files (in JPEG format).  I don't have copies of dng files.  So what I ended up having to do was import the original raw files which then made a DNG copy on my internal hard drive.  The link has not changed, but now the files were back in the original track for missing photo alerts disappeared and I was able to see my change history.  The process has been painful, but without the dng, I had nothing to do a link to more if at least re-import them files has recreated the dng.  I don't know if there was an easier way, but it seemed that the problem did not the link deletion.  I use LR for a few years, but it was a rookie mistake, precipitated by my hard drive being so jammed up I ended up delete what I shouldn't.  I should have just moved the dng and the link to an external hard drive. Thanks again.

  Under XP, I could just change the 'My Documents' link on each desktop, go to the e. * instead of c *. *, but with win7?

  As a Windows Home Server and most wise OS facilities, the system drive is isolated and a drive of 2 or 3 for everything else.  Get a problem? Just restore the system drive.

  In another forum, I found the instructions to move folders of users to another drive.
  You can follow the post here. This is attributed to Jimmie R. Houts.

  Article:
  You can move the entire folder C:\Users to another drive quite easily once windows is installed:

  1. Boot from the installation media and access the command prompt (I think you need to click on fix everything first)
  2. Use Robocopy to copy C:\Users to D:\Users: robocopy c:\Users d:\Users /mir /xj
     a. /mir says robocopy to mirror directories, this will copy all files and permissions
     b. /xj is very important, it means robocopy does not follow the points of junction. If you forget this, you will have a lot of trouble.
  3. Make sure that the files copied successfully
  4. Delete c:\Users
  5. Create the junction pointing d:\Users: mklink /d c:\Users d:\Users

  That's all. I used this process for Vista RTM with no problems.

  Here's an article that explains as well. Just use robocopy instead of xcopy as it does in the article in order to avoid possible ntfs permissions problems.

  Update: because I discovered the hard way, I thought I would mention also that if you plan on switching "Program Data", or "Program Files" with this method, you will be disappointed to know that everything works as expected, but the windows updates will install is no longer. I don't know if this problem has been fixed in Win 7.

  With the foregoing, it is not a Microsoft forum or Web site so you will have to use at your own risk. I also recommend to do a system restore point before making any changes in directories that you can then go back to a previous state.
