  Have you tried playing with the PDF export settings? Specifically, if

  For example, if there is a lot of fine lines in the image, try the nearest

• Placed PDF with layers - can layers be maintained and exported in a new PDF document?

I am placing it in InDesign CS4 6.0.4 and that you want to export a PDF file with layers in tact of Illy. I use the Import Options dialog box show and can see all the layers tab layers. I tried both options for the links update so that the choice seems unimportant. I see only one layer, layer 1, in InDesign layers panel after you place the PDF file. I expect to see all the layers of any PDF file. I exported as Acrobat 6 to create checked Acrobat layers but the only layer in the exported PDF file is layer 1. I searched and read for a while and can not understand. Maybe I'm expecting something that is not possible, but it sounds like it should be. I tried placing a file have native with the same results. Where mistaken?

  Layers of the image are not the same as InDesign document layers that exist on all pages, not only when you create. The layers of the image are contained within the image, which is an object ON a layer in the code. You can manipulate the layers in your images by selecting them, and then right click and choose the object layer Options...

  Quick question about the Acer C720 - is this a good camera to read pdf documents? Is it possible to have the full-screen pdf documents and read them in order to have the full page in PDF on the screen in portrait mode?

• Cannot convert Web Page to PDF: file not found

  I can't convert some open web pages as PDF documents:

  I select the option "convert Web Page to PDF ', after which the dialog box opens to ask me where I want to save etc. A file name is already suggested, if I click on save: I get an error message saying that the file is not found then and to check the name of the file, and then try again.

  Microsoft in their wisdom made sure the convert in acrobat function will not work unless you disable some of the web security in internet Explorer in Windows 10.  In Internet Explorer, click: tools, Internet options, security and uncheck the Enable Protected Mode.  You must restart Internet Explorer.

  This isn't a matter of adobe.  But maybe they could find a way to make their product work under this environment without turning off this feature in Internet Explorer in Windows 10.  Just talk as I pdf another program that works very well even with the Enable Protected Mode check box.  Hey - at least Microsoft included in version 10 to win, IE there is no way yet to use addons in the Edge program.

  When I try to export all pages in my document as 100% quality JPG with the 'Export Assistant', some pages are still exported as GIF.

  I see that there is a combo box of compression in the property inspector, but when I select "JPG - quality" I still don't get a quality of 100% (I get jpg blur around the text, for example).

  If you use Fireworks CS5, you can select all pages, then the optimization goto Control Panel and set the settings jpeg 100%.

  Optimization settings applies to all pages, and then you should be good to export all pages.
