  Hello, I have recently been using Microsoft Expression Encoder screen capture, but after I stop recording it seems to not save. When I looked in the output of screenshot folder, it was empty, despite the fact that I had already recorded two videos. I'm new to encode and have no idea what to do. Please help me.

• Expression Encoder crash when connecing device direct source under Server 2012 video

  I have install axis Streaming wizard like a video for Expression Encoder 4 device every time that I try and select any video device either this one or the source of screenshot, I get a window "has stopped working" and then it closes the expression encoder. I installed it on a server standard server 2012 with all this updates loaded. The only things I have installed additional are the wizard Axis in Streaming, IIS Media Services 4.1 and 4 encoders SP 2 Expressions. Here, any help would be greatly appreciated.

  Hi team,
  I have a requirement to convert a video file in Windows Media format and the flv format and changes in the resolution, the video bit rate and audio bit rate of the file source video.
  I evaluated this is the free version (Microsoft Expression Encoder 4) but it seems that it doesn't support .flv as output even after the installation of the package of Community code combined as suggested in some msdn articles.
  Microsoft Expression Encoder 4 support flv formats after the installation of a codec? If Yes please let me know the dependent component to convert video files to flv format.
  Please let me know if I buy now then what kind of support can I wait especially after sales of the post.

• Microsoft expression encoder 4 sp2 - viewing of an image that I make adjustments.

  I use a webcam on local traffic.   I listen to the video signal of the camera on the internet using the encoder above.      Right now I'm adjusting the parameters "in the dark" IE I do not see any image as I make the adjustments.  I need to be able to view the encoded signal / picture AS I MAKE THE ADJUSTMENTS.     Is this possible?   If yes how can I do this?    Thanks a lot Michael Ronan - Boxplayer

• Cannot download expression Encoder 4 wi sp 2

  Whenever I try to download expressioon 4 encoder wi sp 2, it starts the download sequence then a saying that Microsoft Net Framework 4 is required and you must download 1.  I have download ok, but expression Encoder 4 downloads ever.  If I try to download it again, the same thing happens.  I tried 3 times and downloaded Net Framework 4 3 times but no encoder. ????

  Just bought the Expression Encoder Pro 4 from the Microsoft Web site. Before purcasing, I read the details, and everything goes to the hardware and software configuration.

  The main reason for the purchase is to encode the videos as described below: that is a copy and paste into the page of details during the purchase process.

  "Encode content in the format H.264 industry standard using a range of profiles, including Baseline, Main and High, for display on many devices, including Microsoft's Zune and Apple iPod.

  My problem is that after more than 200.00 dollars, I can't do anything else that the VC-1 Advanced encode in a widows media format.

  Here are the steps that I go through.

  (1) freedom of Expression Encoder Pro 4.0 SP2

  (2) import a WMV file

  (3) change the IIS Smooth Streaming output format (MP4 selection gives the same error)

  (4) video to any format change H.264 gives the message below

  This function is only available in the full of Expression Encoder Pro features. And there is a link sends it me in a Web page to buy the same product again.

  If I select Help / about > This copy indicates that it is (without Codecs)

  So, where are the codecs and why they are not if the description, above, indicates that the copy that I'm purchaseing is capable of transcoding/encoding to MP4 and H.264 formats.

• encoding does not start in expression encoder 4 pro

  Dear Sir / Madam,.

  Please help I would like to release my party birthday child on the Net for friends and family in France, Africa and the United States. I bought my EE4 Pro software last month and it's already registed and activated.

  I use the expression Encoder 4 pro in an attempt to encode live video. My windows platform is Windows xp FEATURES 32-bit. The PC workstation that I use has an Intel processors dual core with 2 GB of memory.  I use a video capture card. I'm trying to code a bandwidth low flow of vc - 1. I can connect successfully to the point of publication. I can cue my video source successfully. My problem occurs when I try to start the encoding, the encoding process does not start, but I don't get the error messages. The 'Start' button highlights a second and then fades.  Has anyone else encountered this problem? Is there anywhere stored log files that may contain error information?  I'd appreciate any help.

  Also how can I update my Expression Encoder 4 pro I bought last month?

  We currently have a desktop application that uses the free version of Microsoft Expression Encoder for video screen Capture.

  Now, we have an obligation to support the mp4 format.

  Is it possible to get the pro version as free version doesn't support mp4 encoding?

  If so can it be distributed as well as our product for commercial use?

  I saw in other forums that the Pro version is not available for sale more?

  If so, is there some other sdk provided by Microsoft to convert wmv to mp4?

  Unfortunately, the services were interrupted for the Microsoft Expression Encoder Pro version.
   
  Now, the only possible solution is to use the Microsoft program not to convert a file format to MP4 file format. You can search online to get one of these.
  PARTY SOFTWARE WARNING: using third-party software, including hardware drivers can cause serious problems that may prevent your computer from starting properly. Microsoft cannot guarantee that problems resulting from the use of third-party software can be solved. Software using third party is at your own risk.

• Why the Microsoft Expression Encoder 4 screen Capture will not open?

  I don't really know where to put this so if this is in the wrong section, sorry.
  I installed this program several times (several versions) and whenever I click the link it does not open. Nothing happens. Microsoft Expression Encoder 4 (the editing program) works fine, but the screen capture program wont open. Why?
  It does not open with administrator either. I use Windows 7, btw.

  So after changing back to extended desktop, I could restart the program, so I thought about it, but it would have been nice if she had worked in eyefinity mode. Well.

• CS 6 install performing some Expressions Encoder

  I'm on a PC Windows 7 SP1 and you just install CS6.  I use Microsoft Expressions encode to make all my .wmv files and it has always worked well, but after the 6 CS installed when I try to load a Quicktime (no compression, h.264, dnxhd, etc.) in Expression encode the file has a green to him as it lacks the red/blue channels of the file (see the attached image.  Also if I try to use Adobe Media encoder with a quicktime to create a .wmv didn't encode the parameters available for.  Is it some with windows issue me) dia codec and Adobe CS 6 at present?  I can not find discussions about this, but is a huge problem for me, as many customers force me to do .wmv.  Clues to this conflict could happen here?  I am running Windows Media Player 12 and Expressions 4.0.4 free version.

  Problem solved.  It turns out that my color in the NVIDIA Control Panel settings have been put out of wack.  What's weird, is that he was only doing the Windows media playback and nothing else.  Thanks for the quick response, however.

• Expression Encoder 4, no noise (XP Pro SP3)

  I used Expression of screenshot to encode a video on a Web site and sent to encode.  The video is fine, but no sound, I fixed Audio for "Realtek HD Audio Input".  If I put in "Logitech Mic" and increase the speakers I can get a very poor soundtrack.  I'm using XP Pro SP3.

• streaming audio over the internet using wme 9 or expression encoder 4 on server 2012

  I hope someone can help. I use successfully wme 9-audio live stream of a phone line at the line in on the server. It is accessible on the internet from a link on my Web site in the ip address and port on the server. It works fine, but I am unable to set it up on a new Server 2008 or 2012 using the essentials and server media pack. the current server works slightly and needs retirement. I'm completely puzzled as to why I can't make it work on any other machine. I use the same router and routing to the same ports on each server that I have tested. Reports from media player there is a network connection problem on each of the servers, with the exception of the only collaboration server 2008.
