Extend the AD schema and configure the connection manager

Hello

I tried to extend the schema and configure connection manager but without success.

When I have the schema in ESSO Admin Console extension displays a success message, but when I check Active Directory for objects that must appear, non of them are there.

Someone can explain to me please what im doing wrong, or give me a link where measures to extend and configure connection manager is explained?

Thank you

Make sure that the agent global settings (registry settings) for the two machines are the same. These settings define how the SSO client will include (as well as synchronize with the directory). If they appear identical, I would then check to ensure that the customer who does not have a typical AD synchronization (see Add/Remove Programs). If this still isn't your problem, check the DNS of your Inbox (this implies that your non-working client is joined to the domain and log you in as a domain user).

  • The connection manager interface

    Hi all

I'm just around trying with the Oracle connection manager. The reason is I want to use it as a firewall to dynamically enable our developers access to our databases of production. Now, I'm looking for a way to add and remove the list of rules dynamically. First I thought that I could script using cmctl, but then I realized that cmctl has no command to add/remove the rules at cman.ora

Is it mayby any other way to dynamically add/remove the rules? The Administration should be made by people who don't know much about IT, so I have to provide them with a tool for that kind of work.

    Thanks in advance

I wrote my own script to manage the connection manager

    Thanks anyway

  • Consistency * extend the connection timeout

I have consistency on Bluemix cluster. I want to add support for consistency * Extend. I add proxy-game on cluster BLuemix (I'm using private IP addresses), then I add while instruction -https://docs.oracle.com/cd/E15357_01/coh.360/e15726/gs_example.htm#COHCG4921 on the client (here I use public Bluemix IP of the cluster consistency). Then, I use query.sh for consistency on a client to test the connection. But on the cluster, I see in the newspapers that coherence listen connections on port 9099, on client - the client tries to connect to this port for cluster consistency. But I 'Timeout' on the client.

Is it possible to use coherence * extend my goal or I need to use REST services or something else?

To do this Bluemix should be transfer traffic from the public to the private IP address.  Probably there is a way to configure Bluemix to support that.  I suggest you only start by checking that query.sh can reach the IP address within the same box, allowing to validate that you have properly setup of the proxy and the client.  Once that works, you can work to get Bluemix with the appropriate routing.  Note I've never used bluemix, but I presume that is such a feature of common transmission.  Alternatively, if the the machine proxy shows both the private and public IPs as IPs local to the machine, you could configure the proxy for listening on the public IP (rather then private).  Finally if you are exposing a proxy publicly, you may want to focus on securing the power of Attorney in order to limit what outside customers to the data stored in the cluster.

    Thank you

  • Extend the connection on D7000

My time of connection of the D7000 is too short and I can not find anywhere I can expand - does anyone know how to increase connection admin time please?

Thanks for the answer - the reason why I want to extend the timeout is to conduct further tests while being able to watch the page of the modem/router from time to time - I can #t do so given that the application saves the admin out after a short time, so I have to go through the procedure of connection every time - frustrating.

  • Policies for approval 11g IOM - approval rule to check the Connection Manager

    Hello

I have a requirement in which if the applicant of a resource is a Manager, while demand should automatically be approved. However if the applicant is one person other than the owner, then it should be assigned to the Manager for approval. Is it possible to do this verification in the approval rule?

My idea was to create two trust policies for the same resource with a single policy with auto approve activated if the connection applicant is same as connection of eating of the beneficiary and other policies with the default approval process BeneficiaryManager if the connection of the applicant is different from the connection of the beneficiary. I don't know if the approval rule can be configured to check these values during execution.

Any kind of help/suggestion is greatly appreciated.

    Concerning
    Deepa

To do this, you change the task of bpel and specify the condition to jump for the task. In the rule to jump, you must specify if the applicant is responsible for the user (the two values that you get in the payload). Set it up this way auto approve request to the Manager.
Also be sure to affect the outcome of the BPEL task of condition of approval so that IOM does not wait for the State.

  • message indicating that the service of hp connection manager has not been installed and the farm of the app

I am trying to fix a laptop of a friend whose laptop keeps giving the message that service HP Connection Manager is not installed. The application will now exit and close the applocation.  How can I reinstall the service so the connection manager will run and the error messages stop happening?

    Hi OzyJim,

  • Slow down the connection to a wireless - WIFI network

When I boot, it takes at least 7 minutes to connect, this is a fairly recent phenomenon, the connection a lappie HP and Intel Wi Fi technology Hdware which is enbabled, what adjustments I can make to speed up the connection manager?

Seven minutes is too long!  Should be more like several seconds.

There are several things that could happen--which most can be fixed pretty quickly once track down you the source.  That's the problem.

First of all, if you did not, just restart the router.  It can be "tangled."  A good 'restart', which is turn it off and then on again, can fix it.  If you can't find a power button, unplug it for 20 seconds, then plug it back.

Someone in your immediate area can be run wireless competitor - it is unlikely that you are on the same channel, but it can happen.  Connect to your router and change the "channel".  There should be instructions to do so--just poke around the House, until you find the right place.  Try channel 11 or else if 11 is already selected.

Then, if your phone has a removable battery, (or even if it's not), you can try a Hard Reset.  This isn't really what is Hard Reset is designed to resolve, but if there is a "tangle" in the wireless device, and then the reset recover the disorder.

Then, if you use it, you can disable IPv6 - this may or may not work and it may adversely affect sharing configurations.  If you use 'Sharing' in your home, then understand this before trying it.

Then read the following documents.  Yes, your installation is probably OK... but it must be checked in all cases and may be reset (remade) 'just in case '.

Wireless network is disabled by the hp connection manager after hibernation, sleep and sometimes when I use the computer. I can't see preferences in HP Connection Manager to fix this, or Windows power management.

What is the solution to keep the network wireless activated ALL THE TIME?

Edition of the HP Connection Manager does not work, so I can't activate wireless again!

    My computer:
    HP ProBook 4530 s (new)

Windows 7 Pro (included with the computer)

No other power or utilities wireless isn't installed, just the HP utilities installed at the factory.

In the hope of a quick solution.

    Thanks in advance.

There is a setting in Connection Manager > Preferences > power to the device , which CAN be assigned to turn off the wireless / Bluetooth when you have left the connection manager.  You must Select / SET parameter.  You can see, just in case...  I never heard talk of the Connection Manager turn off wireless, unless it was to make it to the exit.

You can do the following in the Device Manager to leave the power to the wireless and Bluetooth devices:

Control Panel > display icon > Device Manager > network adapters >

Right click on the WiFi link (Intel) (wording may vary) >

    in Properties > Powermanagement >

Clear the check BOX "Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power".

    Ok

    Do the same for Bluetooth...

    I hope this helps...

  • SmartView when the file opens the open connection manager

I created a macro in smartview that will create an ad hoc network, but the macro will not work unless you are connected to a server. Is it possible to label an excel file to perform the connection manager pop up when a particular file is opened? I know that there are codes that you can put in the macro that will automatically connect you but a lot of people will use this file and I want to make it dynamic.

Is there a feature that indicates if the user connected, do not ask to connect?

    John

In my previous post, I have an example on how to set the user name and password as variables, which means that each user will have to enter their user name and password before you continue, you're not going to set the username and password in your code. In other words, your Sercurity settings will determine whether or not they see data.
If you are familiar with UserForms, you can override the Method (in my example) INPUTBOX with your small form and set the passwordChar property has * to hide the password to users from prying eyes. Do not forget to set this "Macro" in the event "workbook opened." This should solve your problem.

  • Compatibility problem - Windows 7 with WS7 and HP Connection Manager 3

    Hi all

I hope someone can help me. I have the following configuration:

    Laptop HP 8530w

HP un2400 builtin Broadband Modem UMTS

    Windows 7 Professional x 64

    VMWare Workstation 7

My problem is that the HP Connection Manager 3 for the HP un2400 doesn't work anymore after installing VMWare Workstation 7. I'm unable to connect to a UMTS network because the connection manager think, for vmnet1 and vmnet8 virtual network cards are online an internet connected.

I tried to disable the virtual networks through the VMWare Network Editor. I can't disable the adapter, but when I apply the settings, the GUI is suspended.

I need to uninstall the HP connection manager. After that, I am able to disable the cards.

But ultimately I need for my work, the vmnet1 + 8 adapters on the host and Manager of HP connections.

    Does anyone have similar problems?

    Thanks for your help

  • Remote Access Auto Connection Manager and error with a VPN work

I use my laptop to connect to my VPN working. It has not worked since June 24, 2010. I get a message indicating that the connection to network access device is not found. I also have a problem with the connection manager automatic remote access. I'm trying to launch and get an error code 5, unauthorized. The Auto Connection Manager remote access has something to do with the vpn access problem and if so how can I solve this problem?
