Extended Battery sheet missing

Hello.  I have Sony VAIO VPCSE190X, running Windows 7 64 - bit.  My battery model is VGP-BPSC29

My battery of long leaf has never worked with this system.  It simply says "battery #2: not present.  I searched extensively for solutions and have tried the following:

Update the BIOS

Update video drivers

Vaio Care update

None of them have solved my problem.  The battery is attached and is simply not recognized.  The battery seems to charge as expected when it is connected via the included adapter.  The system also throws an error message sometimes when the leaf battery is connected:

"The installed battery may not be properly connected to the computer or may not be compatible with the computer."  He then forces a stop down.

I found many others with this problem, but none of the solutions work.  Of course, it's really bad.  Can I have a solution that actually works, please?

pyeweed,

You run the original Windows operating system that is supplied with the unit, or your own copy?  I ask because there would still be some software or missing drivers.

Let me know, because otherwise it seems that the battery is malfunctioning if the unit stops so that attached and (allegedly responsible for the separate adapter).

How long did you leave loading with the separate adapter?

After having upgraded to Windows 8.1 X 1 carbon, I noticed in the settings app Lenovo power settings include is no longer the option of extended battery life (50% instead of 100% load). I read on this forum that longer life of the battery may be obtained, particularly when using the computer laptop while that connected to the a/c adapter by storing about half of its power. So why the option of longer battery life is missing from the application of the parameters of Lenovo?

The option of 50% (called health battery Mode) is excluded from Lenovo settings.

  • Is it possible to get a backdoor without the extended battery?

My battery door became very weak and creaky because I do so many battery pulls. I have the long battery life, and it seems the only way to get a new one, is to buy another battery. My back door just stays on. Also, are there any plans on commercialization of skins for the external battery? This would make the phone feel more solid and protect the bezel of the scratches.

  • Extended battery trouble

    Hello

I just bought a X 1 with the extended battery slice. It would seem that Power Manager recognizes that the extended battery is available, however Windows always seems to restart the machine as soon as the main battery dies before the battery slice can launch.

Y at - it a setting to save the battery slice power at the same time as the main battery, so I can stop my machine to close unnecessary Windows?

    See you soon,.

    Pete

Just after this display, I contacted Lenovo support via the IBM portal (big headaches btw if you wish to contact support but without Campeau them upward), and they ended up sending me a new battery.

The battery arrived the next day, so a great victory for them on that and so far it seems to have corrected the problem. So, if you also have the same problem, ask for a new battery of slice.

    Hello

I have a portable BB09 Ultra extended battery HP that Piggy-Back with the laptop to provide some extra work time. I turn it on between laptops.

It works by releasing all of first/front that the internal battery is used.

When the internal battery charge first, after that the extra battery pack fees.

    Suddenly, the logic is reversed.

The battery is fully charged, but the original battery is discharged first.

The extended battery pack provides no power even if it is fully charged.

It appears to have happened after that a windows update, but are there not always updated. . ?

If someone have experienced this before? Or would he know how to "reset" the loading sequence?

    Hello @EsbachW ,

To get your question more exposure I suggest you post in the trade forums since it is a commercial product. You can do to commercial Forums.

Even if it is a Commercial product, here is a link to to test the battery.

Plug the power supply directly to a wall outlet works. Do not connect it a power strip, surge arrester, or secondary power source as this could cause and issue.

    Thank you.

  • How can I get the projection of "extended battery life turned off my screen?

How can I get the projection of "extended battery life turned off my screen?

I enabled first the long battery life when was disconnected, then I disabled it. But now, at the bottom right of my screen is a blue rectangular box that says disabled extended autonomy. and it remains on the screen, in front of all, evn when I go online. Is not only that the taskbar is higher than down right

found on another forum, worked for me:

    by serene wing

Annoying, isn't it? Here's how to get rid:

    • Press Ctrl-Shift-Esc to open the Task Manager.
    • Click on the tab labeled 'process '.
    • Find the process named "quickset.exe", right-click on them and select "end process". Confirm the dialog box that appears.
  • Impossible to use the extended battery T420 extension

It is quite disconcerting to have the laptop stop and be empty when the battery life indicator said there is more than 6 hours of life left.

My T420 has a senior 55 + and 27 ++ long battery life.  If the main battery is used to power, when the main battery reaches 0%, it will fail to pass the long battery life and die.  It's not only to stop, it will stop.  Windows don't like this.  If the computer is using the extended battery for power, it can switch successfully to the main battery when the battery reaches 0%.

There seems to be no way 'approved' to force the first laptop using the extended battery.  I got this laptop a few weeks, but in my experimentation, the laptop uses preferably the battery with the lowest percentage of all.

For normal use, long battery life load profile I programmed to stop at 95%, this will get the laptop started on right stack when the two are connected, but not help if I'm out and on the use of the main battery and want to extend by adding the long battery life.

The only method I found to force the laptop to use the battery when the main battery is low-capacity must simply remove the main battery.  Of course, to do this, I have to either stop the laptop or the put it hibernates in.  Then, remove the main battery and attach the long battery life.  Reboot the laptop.  So far, I have no problems with this method. The laptop is perfectly happy with just 27 ++ battery attached.  But if I'm going to pass the batteries, I might as well have an extra 55 ++ lying around and waive the 27 ++.

Would be nice if Lenovo could provide instructions or a software patch that would allow me to tell the laptop to use preferentially the extended battery as soon as it is available.

The way the system is designed, it's that you won't always unload the 2nd battery first, not the main battery. If this is not the case, check the switch on the 2nd battery. Make sure it is in the position "on / green.

  • MacBook Pro 2011 extended battery

    Hey guys and girls,

Last night when I was about to use the laptop, I noticed, that it was not closed correctly, one side had one large gap than the other and when I opened it, noticed that the trackpad was not in its normal position, as if someone was the extraction of it. So I find the battery extended itself during the night or during the last 2-3 nights

In recent weeks, the battery was not load correctly, or the laptop came into fashion 'sleep' to 40% or 50%, so I had to use my phone still plugged in, when it's on. Lately, on the screen with users, I saw that said 91 percent, but when I was on my account, he said "do not load" Even worse if I unplugged the laptop charger closes with 91%.

My question is. Is this a problem on 2011 model?

I was also wondering if it is possible to replace the battery for free because it's pretty obvious it's a fault of manufacturers

    Ms. Lee

Quite common, even if there is not not to all systems.  Time to let Apple replace it so they can evaluate any damage that may have occurred.  Do not delay.

Turn it over and remove the bottom of the case, see if it leaks again.  At this point if it is leaking not remove carefully, but Apple needs to find all the damage.

  • Compatible Microsoft ACPI control method battery is missing

My computer (Acer Aspire V on Windows 8) suddenly began to turn whenever it was unplugged and does not turn on unless it is plugged. Battery icon saying "plugged in, but do not load.

Everything I read said to try to uninstall and then reinstall the Microsoft ACPI control method battery driver in Device Manager, however mine is missing. The only option on the batteries in the Device Manager tab is the Microsoft AC adapter driver. When I click on "Search the hardware changes" or try to reset the computer it will not reinstall a new driver for the Microsoft ACPI compliant control method battery. How can I find/reinstall this driver?

If the battery is about 1 year before, I think that's the problem.

  • Extended battery for Portege R100 in the United Kingdom

    Hello

I hope that the topic covers it pretty well things, but...

I read that the R100 in America comes with a long battery life and I was wondering if it is possible to buy one in the United Kingdom. I can't find anything online.

Also the Portege R100 boot from USB at all?

    Thank you very much

This battery high capacity has PA3155U-1BRL part number. I don't have time to search for on Google but use this number in Google UK, and I hope you find an online store where you can order.

On boot USB, I can not say much, but at the start of the laptop under the Toshiba start screen you should see small symbols with all bootable devices. Check if the USB is there.
