External audio

I have a Sony internet tv.  My elderly mother, who is hard of hearing should use headphones in order to take advantage of its programs.  The problem is that when I plug the headphones into the audio taken on the left side of the TV, the internal speakers off and even if she can hear very well, I don't hear anything.  Is it possible that she can use his headphones and I also hear the TV at the same time?

  • Equium L20-197: no not line-in jack - how to record from an external audio source

    Hello

    I am generally very happy with my Equium L20, but I now find some trouble which I assume are from cost reduction. For example, there are no micro shipped, so need to buy one for Voip purposes. And I would like to use this notebook to record from an external audio source, but now to discover that he has no line-in, and it seems that the microphone jack is mono only, even if it was possible to configure the audo map to use this to source line.

    I would be very grateful if anyone has any ideas for a solution workaround, possibly using a USB port.

  • External Audio calls to Cisco MCU

    I have a requirement for an external audio channel to access the shared meeting room that is hosted on the MCU 5320 Cisco.

    This can be achieved directly through the MCU or is it a requirment for another audio bridge

    Well, you can integrated MCU with VCS using SIP Trunk, even if the common deployment is to have registered in VCS, MCU or by using SIP, H323, or both. You can also integrate the MCU with CUCM, but in this case, MCU will be a multimedia resource of CUCM, thats why it is only recommended to the ad hoc conferences. You can also integrate the MCU with the driver of telepresence using the API, but it is often only when you have several MCU pools to manage.

    To integrate the Cisco MCU with VCS, you can consult this document:

    http://www.Cisco.com/en/us/docs/Telepresence/infrastructure/MCU/Install_Guide/Cisco_TelePresence_MCU_Deployment_guide_1-31.PDF

    To learn more about how to work with auxiliary self on Cisco MCU, take a look at this guide:

    Page 88 - http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/telepresence/infrastructure/mcu/admin_guide/Cisco_Telepresence_MCU_5300_Series_4-4_Product_administration_guide.pdf

    If you want to integrate MCU with control systems third call, I can't say that it will work, because I still have my suggestions on basis Cisco official documentation, and there is little in the literature on integration of MCU with control systems third call.

  • At what point in the prelude-> can first workflow I synchronize my external audio?

    Very well. I have Canon DSLR images, external audio of a Zoom h4n.

    I ingested video prelude and spent an hour our Director of instruction how to use it. Now, she has marked everything up and everything thrown out first where our editor opened all this very well. Here's what we can't understand:

    We want Pluraleyes who own audio Zoom on videos from Canon and PE did a good job to match the main elements to the audio ext, but subitems do not return to the re-imported XML file.

    I'm probably too stupid to understand this. But when should we make this sound synchronization? Because for now, it seems like either:

    1. we have merged clips with audio in sync, but we lost our subelements defined by Prelude and I can't understand how to connect the clips to the rough prelude merged edit... what kind of makes all our work prelude for nothing; or,

    2. I guess I could synchronize the audio first of all, export merged clips, ingest them as a prelude, let the Director his contract there and then re-import everything back in first... which in some way looks a long way around.

    Ideas, y ' All?

    Hello

    We don't yet a solid integrated workflow prelude for streams audio sync but work for a future version. In the meantime, here are a few options for possible workaround solutions.

    1. If you merge your clips first and then put them in prelude (like you me ing below) who will certainly work.

    2. you can continue as you are now and you have your Manager connect the clamps before sound sync market. BUT, when your manager is done connecting a clip, they can use the FILE-> save metadata under... Featured as a prelude to save all the marker data in a separate file. Now switch to send these clips in Premiere Pro and merge with the audio. When you have your newly merged clips you can translate as a prelude them, then use the metadata Panel combined to open the metadata file that you saved earlier and then apply these markers to your clip.

    None of these workflows are ideal, and I agree, that we should make this workflow more efficient and simple. But while we work on this part, I hope that one of these suggestions will be fairly painless for you.

    I am also interested to hear your ideas for how you would like to sync sound to behave as a prelude to moving forward.

    Kind regards

  • Load an external audio file in table?

    Hello.

    I figured out how to load an external video file - and I can play an audio file imported, but I can't seem to use both methods to load an external audio file into a table. (doh)

    Here is my audio code:

    var tour_audio:Array = [tour1, tour2];

    var my_num:Number = Math.floor (Math.random () * 2);

    var ChosenSound = tour_audio [my_num];

    var playing: Sound = new ChosenSound();

    Playing.Play ();

    Here's my video code:

    var my_videos:Array = new Array ('link1.mp4', 'link2.mp4', 'link3.mp4', 'link4.mp4');

    var randomIndex = Math.floor (Math.random () * my_videos.length);

    my_player.source = my_videos [randomIndex];

    I tried ' var tour_audio:Array = ["link1.mp3", "link2.np3"];  - but it does not work.

    Ty

    //  ------------------------

    the table is from your code, the table will be the references for the two audio files

    var tour_audio:Array = new Array();

    then you must create two instances of the sound class to contain the audio files you load into

    var soundClip1:Sound = new Sound();

    var soundClip2:Sound = new Sound();

    then you need a sound channel to play audio files

    var sndChannel:SoundChannel = new SoundChannel();

    It's your randomizer code

    var my_num:Number = Math.floor (Math.random () * 2);

    now, you load each sound file in your instances of the sound using the URLRequest class

    soundClip1.load (new URLRequest ("tour1.mp3"));

    soundClip2.load (new URLRequest ("tour2.mp3"));

    to find out when loading, the files have completed, you must add an event listener to each of the classes of sounds

    These event listeners will be triggered the functions onComplete1 and onComplete2 when loading is completed to each sound file

    soundClip1.addEventListener(Event.COMPLETE,onComplete1,false,0,true);

    soundClip2.addEventListener(Event.COMPLETE,onComplete2,false,0,true);

    This is the function for the first hearing of his charger, it will add the instance of the sound in your table class once loaded the sound

    function onComplete1(evt:Event):void {}

    tour_audio.push (soundClip1);

    }

    This function does the same work for the second audio file

    function onComplete2(evt:Event):void {}

    tour_audio.push (soundClip2);

    }

    Call this function to play the selected audio file

    It could be called from the function of onComplete2 above

    function playRandomSound (): void {}

    var ChosenSound = tour_audio [my_num];

    sndChannel = ChosenSound.play ();

    }

    //  ------------------------

    I added comments to the code itself which should help to explain what is happening. Yes, AS3 is just jam packed with intimidating stuff. As use you it, it will start to make sense.

  • External audio connects not (stroke of lightning/airplay/bluetooth)

    Hello

    I'm on OS / X El Capitan 10.11.4 on MacBook Pro (retina, 15 inch, mid-2014).

    For some time - I can not connect my audio outputs / interfaces audio external

    -When I change my sound output using alt + volume icon on the top menu, nothing happens (when I return to this menu remains in 'internal speakers' output)

    -When I select in 'sound' in system preferences, it is selected, but the sound is still coming from internal speakers.

    These devices include

    -Airplay to ATV2 - it is worth noting this is see "airplay: off" in the menu airplay

    -Audio Bluetooth - pairs and connects fine, but the same thing happens for audio

    -Focusrite clarett 4pre audio interface of love at first sight. I have installed the required software & drivers before you connect the appliance. When I turn on the camera - I don't like sound output in the sound menu, even if it is listed under the section 'Information system' love at first sight.

    -I don't have an interface audio firewire (steinberg MR816), that was installed before the problem occurs, and this device connects very well.

    I have already tried:

    -Removing audio and bluetooth & associated airplay .perf files in / library and ~ / library, then by restarting

    -Remove all applications from the login items "Users & groups" to improve the connectivity of the airplay.

    -Reset the PRAM

    -Creating a new user with the ' parameters '.

    -I could have messed up with other parameters I remember currently.

    I couldn't find anywhere to tell me how to reset the audio settings of the mac completely, and I really want to avoid the formatting and reinstallation of mac.

    I would be extremely useful for any help.

    Thank you

  • Where to connect an external audio source Qosmio F20?

    Hi people,

    This is the first time I try to connect an audio source (minidisc player) and listen to the recording on this subject by the Qosmio. The same thing has been done many times on the desktop-PC - cable LINE IN of the sound card and everything is OK - sound is audible and I can record or mix it on the PC.

    Unfortunately, the Qosmio seems to have only Mic-Line-In and audio entry it is not through the PA system. This means that I have to by a separate PCMCIA-soundcard to use its line?

    I would gladly appreciate any idea!

    Unfortunately, Yes. The Qosmio does not support line-in audio ports, and so you will not be able to capture audio signals.

    Seems you have to buy an external PCMCIA sound card that supports the line-in port

    Hello

    What satellite you exactly and what port you used to record audio from external device?
    Have you used the microphone port?

    I doubt that your laptop supports the audio-in port so I don't think you can connect the external device in this case.

    PS: If the laptop freezes completely why you n t try to update the audio driver.
    If this will not help then you should check if a new installation of the OS would help you.
    Could the laptop freezes for two reasons; hardware or software problem.

    First, there are the software isn t interesting question and the new installation of the operating system allows you to check that would help!

  • External Audio files

    Recently, I recorded a number of files audio wav using a third-party program. Since they all will be in my Captivate 6 module, I'm worried that they will substantially increase the size (memory) of the module. Is it possible to keep the audio files in a separate folder and access it externally Captivate, thus maintaining the size of the smallest module?

    Thank you.

    Darin

    Have a different opinion than Varun. Maybe because I'm a musician, audio quality is very important. I always important the wav in the library file, when published Captivate will compress these files into mp3 files. So the wav will never find themselves in the published files, but you can keep together the 'raw' files in the cptx file. Only if you really find it difficult to manipulate the CPTX I converting wav to mp3 myself.

    Sorry, Varun, will always import of Photoshop directly as well and leave the CP to convert layers to PNG, for the same reason: try to keep the quality of the source files.

  • .Swf using external Audio connection

    Because flash loop external mps file correctly, there is always a pause in the loop. The work around is to load the AIFF or WAV file in the .fla and let the Flash to compress the audio file, then the loop works without a break. The problem is that when I have many loops of music, that it takes a long time to publish and test, if in AS 2 I would publish .swfs compressed the raw audio file, which gave the audio file, a link. Then I would load the .swf in the main .swf and access the binding file responsible for .swfs. The code looked like this:

    _root.createEmptyMovieClip ("soundsMC", _root.soundsMC.getNextHighestDepth ());
    instructionsContainer = _root.soundsMC.createEmptyMovieClip ("instructionsContainer", _root.soundsMC.getNextHighestDepth ());
    instructions = new Sound (instructionsContainer);
    instructions.attachSound ('theme instructions');

    It worked perfectly. But this method does not work in AS3.

    That's what I tried AS3:

    by moving just code I got it to work. I changed this line:
    var FishHoleOldMusicMCClass: Class = libMedia.loaderInfo.applicationDomain.getDefinition ("FishHoleOldMusicMC") in the classroom;

    To do this:
    var FishHoleOldMusicMCClass: Class = loader.contentLoaderInfo.applicationDomain.getDefinition ("FishHoleOldMusicMC") in the classroom;

    This is the code:

    public function initView (): void {}
    loader = new Loader ();
    targetStage.addChild (loader);
    loader.contentLoaderInfo.addEventListener (Event.INIT, loarderLoaded);
    Loader.Load (new URLRequest("sound/fishhole_old.swf"));
    }
    //
    private function loarderLoaded (event: Event): void {}
    trace ("loarderLoaded");
    loader.contentLoaderInfo.removeEventListener (Event.INIT, loarderLoaded);
    var FishHoleOldMusicMCClass: Class = loader.contentLoaderInfo.applicationDomain.getDefinition ("FishHoleOldMusicMC") in the classroom;
    music of var = new FishHoleOldMusicMCClass();
    Music.Play (0, 1000);
    }

    Although the Tecra A11 - 11 sound better than most laptops, I would definitely come back to the full sound quality.
    Without any audio output the possibilities seem very limited.
    USB speakers seem to be either very low powered or high-powered, expensive, or boom-box.
