External ringer on Port FXS VoIP phone w / call Mgr 8.6

Hello

I'm doing an external Bell at the same time when a Cisco VoIP phone is called.  The environment in which we are is very hard and the ringtone was great before, we have implemented VoIP.

I have the external Bell connected to a FXS port out of my 2800 router.  When I call the number I have on the other hand, it sounds.  I have assigned the same number to a VoIP Cisco Call Manager phone, but it sounds only if I have the 'destination-number 9195551212' removed from the FXS port.

I looked for answers/ideas on the Board and found that some said and use the stcapp option to set the maximum option to 2 or more on the number in the call manager.  However, it made no difference; I can have either the Bell, or the number - but not both.

Anyone have any ideas?

Thank you!

Configure the port in SCCP, instead of H.323 mode at this time (search)

Mark CUCM as a analofport device.

Configure a shared on the device line and an IP phone.

Both will ring at the same time, done.

In both cases, you have set good dial-peers to point to the FXS ports to match the destination of the SIP trunk, which is pretty simple.

On your iPhone, go to settings > phone > call on other devices > allow calls on off other devices.

    So, I want to:

very simple. Go to Configuration - notifications - messages - disable alert sounds

    or

Definition of go - Sound - text alerts - set to zero

  • How can I find my external and internal port number

I am trying to access the internet via a live ethernet cable from my router, except the computer im trying to use is new to the House, but is under xp. I also have a laptop which I use to ask these questions, which accesses the internet via a wireless connection. I open 'Internet Properties' and entered my IP address and I am now looking for my external and internal port numbers try to connect. Is it and most easy way? I'm on the right track? Help, please. :)

If you really have a router, then this router should affect your computer all the configuration settings that it needs to connect to the internet (or local) automatically via DHCP.  The "TCP/IP properties" correct settings on your computer must be set to "Obtain an IP address automatically" and "Obtain DNS server address automatically".  If your router is configured correctly, it will automatically load these settings, such as all you need to do is to connect your computer to your router.  If this does not work, then you must download the manual of your router and verify its configuration.

    Hello

In my view, that the call fails because the phone of 3905 Announces g729annexB codec. could you please try to configure "voice-class codec" or a "codec G711a/G711u' command under voice register pools 1-4 and check the behavior?

  • Creating ports FXS to using Extensions on the SPA3102 and PAP2T

    Dear all

We have a CISCO SPA3102 and a Cisco PAP2T adapter available at two of our branches. The two branches are connected via LAN. Need to configure the FXS ports on two branches to work as extensions on IP. Kindly let me know if this could use these devices or to buy the new device and how we can create plans of numbering on both devices. Reference diagram. I don't have a lot of experince work with VOIP so your support devices will be very useful.

    Concerning

    Muhammad

You can configure direct ip, calls between the two adapters.

The diagram shows the SPA3102 ip address is 20.20.20.5 and the PAP2T ip address is 20.20.20.10.

I would setup the SPA3102 with a username of 2001 and the PAP2T with a username of 2002.

When you pick up the phone attached, a dial plan of (<>[email protected]/ * /: 5060 > S0) on the SPA3102 should call line PAP2T configured with Sip Port 5060.

When you pick up the phone attached, a dial plan of (<>[email protected]/ * /: 5060 > S0) on the PAP2T must call the SPA3102 line 1 configured with Sip Port 5060.

I would like to change the port numbers sip on each adapter by default 5060 to something else, but that is not a requirement.

On each line adapter configuration you need to set enable component IP: Yes, call without Reg: Yes, and call without Reg: Yes. NAT Mapping Enable must be not on each card.

  • With SRP547W and SPA303 VoIP phones

    Hello

I have a SRP547W hung with the standard desktop phones connected via phone ports on the back of the device using 2 lines as well as the RTC SIP using the hash first of all that the router in the office. We just added a new Member of staff and bought a SPA303 in order to connect the SIP registered on the SRP547W lines, and I hope to have the opportunity to use the PSTN line when the SIP lines are busy.

The problem is, it connects to VLAN100 and gets its IP address and initializes very well however no line will only show configured and it cannot make or receive calls. I need to configure on the SPA303 tell him to use the SRP547W as its SIP Server/Proxy (not sure of the terminology).

    Kind regards

    Gerard...

SRP500 routers do not include a SIP proxy function or at the office, but are rather SIP user agents who register with an external proxy.  Your only real options here are to get a third SIP for the SPA303 service, or install a small PBX IP locally that uses the SIP trunks for connectivity to the PSTN and has the SPA303 and SRP500 ports registered as endpoints.

    See you soon,.

    Dave.

  • Satellite U300 - 13 M - port external monitor (VGA port) does not work

Dear users of Forums from Toshiba,

I have a problem with the VGA port. I use the Windows XP operating system. Laptop, do not display on an external monitor, I tried all monitors to connect to my office, but does not solve this problem. I also tried to reinstall Windows XP, once again, and nothing has changed.

    Please help me.

    Best regards, Elbrus

    Hello

I guess that by Satellite U300 came preinstalled with Vista. Am I right about that?
Anyway, if you want to use external monitor and switch successfully to him you must install the utilities and tools of Toshiba. There are several of them and allows you to use the FN + F5 key combination and move your desktop to laptop LCD display to the external monitor.

Can you please tell me one thing: have you installed all the stuff of the Toshiba download page according to document Instructions of facilities?
The configuration of the laptop is not known to me, but try please check the Intel properties and let me know if the external monitor is recognized in properties. Usually, you can choose to use the external monitor there.

You can also start Toshiba HWsetup utility. There must be tab display. There you can also find an option to use the LCD screen + monitor at startup.

Check it out please and post the results.

  • Tecra A6: no dial tone with Replicator port when the phone line is plugin

    Hello

I have a Tecra A6 and the Advanced Port Replicator 3 Plus. Everything works except that I can't get a dial tone (for fax) when I plug the phone line into the duplicator. However, if I plug the same line to the Jack on the Tecra, I get a dial tone.

I suspect that the com port is not configured correctly. Toshiba software modem is set to 3 Com (which should be of the Tecra). Should this com port I choose for the Port Replicator?

    Hello

Thanks for the info. I also think that the laptop was not properly connected to the port replicator. It is important that the laptop is connected correctly to the port replicator.
Further, you should check if you have a new version of the Extention3 of Mobile of TOSHIBA (TME3) installed on the laptop.

I have a laptop with an infrared port that I can use with another computer.
Now, I have a problem with my laptop at home, A100 series.

I updated my bios, tried to take the infrared port, used as a port standard com etc. Nothing works.
What should I do to get the infrared port of the function and write down automatically if I bring about my mobile with IR?

    Thank you
    Petri

Don't be angry with me because I ask, but are you sure that your laptop supports the IrDA?
What cell phone do you have exactly? Satellite A100-xxx
