Externalize strings not generating a CSV file translations
Hi gurus,I need to do outsourcing of presentation layer, so doing it, I activated by clikcing to outsource the table on the area in question and after I have go to tools-> utilities-> externalize strings-> run
the csv file, it creates is having only the English, I don't get the translations to other languages in the csv file. I m hit there.
Pls help!
Thank you
Anthony
Hi Anthony,.
The generated CSV file will be in English only. If you try to just change in OBIEE Presenatation layer to another language, you need to perform operations of addition after the export of the CSV file on your machine.
Look at this article: (I think that's what you're looking for);

Numbers does not correctly Import CSV files
Using numbers v 3.6.2 under OS X El Capitan v 10.11.6 CSV files are not imported correctly. A file with 8 columns appears in number with the first two columns containing data of 7 columns and the second containing the remaining column data. This does not happen with numbers v 2.1 I have on another Mac OS x 10.6.8
Well, I know one answer would be to always download on the Mac of the latter, but I'm trying to stop using it, once all the data I need is available on the other, later, Mac.
If Apple could provide a program that does work properly, why on Earth can't a version later do the same thing, it is a fundamental requirement and I don't want to play anywhere to try to sort out just that it works as it should.
might be useful to provide an example of the file, or, perhaps to share data... Nobody here can change the numbers, we are all of the users like you. The only options that we are thus solutions using what is already there, or work around issues by other means.
You can still provide feedback to post using the menu item "numbers > provide Feedback numbers.

Export to a CSV of tiara does not produce a CSV file!
Seems strange but exporting to a CSV of tiara does not a CSV file. Tiara produces a tab delimited file, which is obviously not a CSV file. Tiara aid said even the 'CSV' file is a tab-delimited. The software expects a comma as delimiter does not read the file properly created tiara. It is possible to specify the correct delimiter?
You can ask the decimal/separator, you need if you start exporting CSV from a script

OracleTextSearch doesn't work is not for the CSV file
Hi all
I use Oracle Webcenter content with Version: 11.1.1.9.0 - 2015-04-14 07:19:29Z - r126792 (Build: 7.3.5.185).
I configured using OracleTextSearch below of setting in the config.cfg file
SearchIndexerEngineName = OracleTextSearch
I can search text for the file types such as text, excel, docx, pdf, but I'm not able to do text search the csv file.
Please suggest any alternative to enable text search the csv file.
Please find the below the example of csv file.
"Id","CurrencyIsoCode","City","Status" "1","GBP","","Activated" "2","GBP","Reading","Expired" "3","GBP","Reading","Expired" "4","GBP","Brighton","Activated" "5","USD",""Atlanta"""","" Georgia""","Expired" "6","GBP","Reading","Expired" "7","GBP","Bristol","Activated" "8","GBP","Chicago","Expired" "9","GBP","Chicago","Expired" "10","GBP","Chicago","Expired" "11","GBP","Chicago","Expired" "12","GBP","Reading","Activated" "13","GBP","London","Activated" "14","GBP","Reading","Expired" "15","GBP","Singapore 068893","Activated" "16","USD","Overland Park","Activated" "17","GBP","London","Activated" "18","GBP","Hangzhou","Activated" "19","GBP","Southampton","Activated"
Do something:
Edit config.cfg and add below variable:
TextIndexerFilterFormats = csv
After that, save and exit. Restart the server.
Checking in a new file csv and do a word search.
It should work let me know again, you have a question or not

Update of field Notes from a csv file
Hello
I want to update the Notes field for all of the virtual machines in my environment from a .csv file. To do this, I did and the export of my environment in a file .csv using this command:
Get - VM | Select Name, Notes | Export-Csv-path "c:\output\notes.csv" - NoTypeInformation
I now have a list of all virtual machines and their existing Notes. I manually changed the notes fields keeping the existing descriptions and adding, for all the virtual machines that had no notes. I would now like to merge the changes into vCenter and to crush any descriptions in vCenter but my code is any error on:
Import-Csv "c:\output\notes.csv" | % {Set - VM $_.} VMName-note $_. {Note - confirm: $false}
Any ideas?
Well, the field of your CSV is 'Name', not "VMName".
So, try:
Import-Csv "c:\output\notes.csv" | % {Get - VM $_.} Name | Set-VM-note $_. {Note - confirm: $false}

ColdFusion does not recognize the CSV files
I have a local version of ColdFusion developer 10 on my local machine.
I use ColdFusion to create a CSV file and save it on the server and create a link by using the following code.
Browsers open the CSV file in a text file and I use link right click to save target, my Windows Explorer save a html file.
It works on the other server, using the same code.
I want to know are there any which configuration to set ColdFusion recognize the format of CSV file when saving the target and he lets browsers know how to use Excel to open CSV files.
Your information and help is much appreciated,
Kind regards

There are several different themes play. I have them separate to make the code more manageable and scalable.
Using your code, I've implemented the following quick test. It uses the embedded, cfartgallery data source, you have also.
I placed the 3 files in the same directory. But this is usually unnecessary because you can pass the path of the directory as a variable.

Generate the CSV file to the virtual machine by using get-stat statistics
Hi all
I put my VC for taking samples every 5 minutes for 3 days.
I would create a PowerCLI script that I can then run on an ad hoc basis to connect to my VC and to get the details for ALL of the virtual machines that are managed by this CR and fill in a CSV (c:\foo.csv):
Name of the virtual machine
The ESX VM host is currently sitting
total number of virtual processors assigned to VM
total memory allocated to the VM
memory active average used by the virtual machine in the 3 days using samples of 5 minutes
average mhz CPU used by VM spent 3 days using samples of 5 minutes
I have attached a sample file XLS of CSV output should look like.
If anyone can give me a code to achieve or get on well on my way, I would appreciate it a lot.
Kind regards
Alex
OK, so what you want is something like this then?
Get-VM | Where {$_.PowerState -eq "PoweredOn"} | Select Name, Host, NumCpu, MemoryMB, @{N="Cpu.UsageMhz.Average";E={[Math]::Round((($_ | Get-Stat -Stat cpu.usagemhz.average -Start (Get-Date).AddHours(-72) -IntervalMins 5 -MaxSamples (12) | Measure-Object Value -Average).Average),2)}}, @{N="Mem.Usage.Average";E={[Math]::Round((($_ | Get-Stat -Stat mem.usage.average -Start (Get-Date).AddHours(-72) -IntervalMins 5 -MaxSamples (12) | Measure-Object Value -Average).Average),2)}}
I think that the issue that you have with the missing stat might be to do with your logging levels in VC, if these are not set correctly it will not save these stats for this period of time.
What do you get if you do a simple:
get-vm "SingleVM" | Get-Stat -Stat cpu.usagemhz.average
If you found this information useful, please consider the allocation of points for correct or helpful.

worksheet to no array string not read any .txt file
I am very new to Labview.
I'm reading a .txt (positions.txt) with reading In.vi file.
However, the result is not what I wish it to be. The first 3 rows are omitted from the result table, but I don't know why.
I followed the tutorials and can't see why the resulting table starts 4th.
Hi marvin,.
is there a reason why you want to create a table of dimension 4?
If your reading the LabVIEW has helped, how LabVIEW formats (or hope) spreadsheets for table dimensions > 2?
Solution:
Change the constant matrix and indicator in a 2D table!

I was told that I was able to generate a CSV file via method UTL_FILE. Can anyone provide the skeleton of how should I create in PL/SQL?
I tried the google search, but it says in words and not code itself.
I have this PL/SQL which I want to generate a CSV file.
How am I suppose to do?SET SERVEROUTPUT ON; SET TIMING ON; DECLARE CURSOR C1 IS select balance from contract ; BEGIN FOR i IN C1 LOOP IF i.balance <> '0' THEN DBMS_OUTPUT.PUT_LINE('Amount is not 0 '); I will like to put the statement 'Amount is not 0 ' in a CSV file here else DBMS_OUTPUT.PUT_LINE('Amount is 0 '); END IF; end loop; END; /
Published by: JoannaLee on August 26, 2008 19:14Your question is a bit confusing. In your subject line and once again in your question, you talk about generating a CSV file. This is a comma-separated values file (where the acryonym). But your question seems to ask about the generation of a file with a phrase in computing - that would be a flat file, but not a CSV file.
The links provided show you exactly how to generate a CSV file, based on an arbitrary query.
If you are not looking to generate a CSV file, and instead, you just want to generate a flat file to which you can write data, you can just use the UTL_FILE package. Assuming you're on a recent version of Oracle, you need to create a directory object, i.e.
CREATE DIRECTORY directory_name AS 'path_to_directory_on_database_server'
Then you would grant privileges on this directory for any user object will hold the procedure who wants to write to the directory
GRANT read, write ON directory_name TO some_user
In your code, you should just open the file and write
DECLARE l_file utl_file.file_type; BEGIN l_file := utl_file.fopen( 'DIRECTORY_NAME', 'name_of_file', 'w' ); <
> utf_file.put_line( l_file, 'String you want to write to the file' ); < > utl_file.fclose( l_file ); END; Justin

Hello
I use Oracle 10 g Rel2.
I'm trying to generate the trace for a session using DBMS_SYSTEM file.
First of all, I used DBMS_SYSTEM. Procedure SET_SQL_TRACE_IN_SESSION to generate the trace for a session, but that file was generating trace udump directory files. Then I checked on the net and found that we cannot generate the trace file in this way for active sessions.
Then I tried to use DBMS_SYSTEM. Procedure SET_ENV, same results. It also generates trace files?
No idea why this is happening? In addition to around how long should I activate trace?
Thanks in advance.It does not generate all trace file unless drawn session perform some activity.

CSV file and download by programming?
Hello
A seller is made available for me to download a csv file but from now on, I'm going to a URL with an .aspx or .php extension (do not remember) and he invites me to save the csv file, then open it etc. Is it possible to generate scripts somehow this output? Is there a way to open the CSV somehow or add script so it gets downloaded somewhere, then open it programmatically? I'm not hittin the csv file directly, but unfortunately, it is just like that.
There is a php page or an aspx page that generates this csv if I get the file download area when I do it through my browser, but I want to sort out the data programmatically.
I use CF9.-Westside
You can download the file on your server with cfhttp.
What do you mean by "open"?

It seems to be missing the library 'png' on the link phase. Can you confirm for me that the link against it?
Go into the settings of your project, build C/c++, select tab "settings of the tool. You will see the folders 'QCC Linker, libraries' on the list. You must have "png" it.
Another way to check is when you compile look at the last line (the link phase, starting with "qcc o", you should see a '-lpng ' modifier.)

LabVIEW csv file reading does not correctly.
I try to use the spreadsheet read vi file as follows the attached csv.
He did some things wrong:
(1) the first cell in the resulting table has ÿþ attached to the front of it, it looks like labview is striking some special characters, it should not? (Notepad, notepad ++ and excel can open all the file with no problem and no show ÿþ or something like that).
(2) it is abuse characters from end of LIFE as two line breaks, resulting in empty rows between each row of data. (Looking at the csv file in notepad ++ confirms that the lines are completed with a CR and LF (same as EOL).)
(3) I read in sub form of string, because one of the columns is nonnumeric, but then I remove this column of and try to convert the remaining string table in a digital picture (failure). It also fails if I shoot an individual element of the array and try to convert it to a number (in either case, using the string fract/exp number), below, I have an example of attempted to read from the 2nd column of the 1st row (index: 0.1) which is being shaped as a string: "1.37238168716431" and conversion which gives 0 as you can see in the snapshot of the façade into a number.

Ok.. If you don't want the column to be generated and then in your IKM (IKM SQL to THE grit file) choose the option GENERATE_HEADER to 'no '.
Then run the interface. The target csv file will not now column header.
