Extract Audio files

How can I control where CC PP saves extracted audio files that I have edited with hearing?

Currently they are stored with temporary files in the PP folder on my main drive. I want to be saved in the same location as the original file. It seems to me that this should be the default behavior. This has caused serious problems on several occasions. Thinking that I had copied all my media files on my laptop to work off-site, I discovered later that wanted me all the extracted audio files.

Help for an answer to that, I searched but found nothing. I found several others via Google that were confused by this behavior, but no answers or solutions.

Thank you

  • Help! I need to extract audio from a video to an audio file in my HARD drive

    Hello

I have a project that needs to me mastered (the audio part at least), and I need to extract the audio parts of my sequence in 'physical' files on my HARD drive, so I can load my project (with these separate audio files) on another computer where the control will be done... but I can't do it! .. is there anyway I can do this?

    Help, please!

    Thanks in advance...

    Al

You can select an avi clip and right click, then choose Edit in Soundbooth. This creates a wav audio file in the clip, with the same name as the video clip with "extract" added automatically.

Also, it replaces the audio in the sequence with the extracted file, but does not change the original item.

  • How can I extract audio from a movie stored on the Photos?

I have a new 6 iPhone more. Great phone and it records very well.

On my Mac, OS X 10.11.1 El Capitan

I used the phone and recently recorded a concert. I had a guy time to get the movies my phone is off. Is there a way to view the files from my phone directory?

I finally got the film in Photos. Now, I can't do anything with them. I want to extract audio from movies and a CD of the concert.

I found some third-party software, , but they cannot see the pictures.

Also, the movies seem to have maxed out my iCloud storage. Another problem, but related. What is the best way to store/backup these images on my computer so that they are accessible from the finder, and will not be removed by synchronization?

It is a bit nuts, IMO. Should be much more consistent and intuitive.

    Thanks for your help.

Export the photo sequence: file-> Export, export unmodified: Original

    It's all about Photos.

Further, use the Image Capture (in the Applications folder) for material like this.

As for extract the soundtrack. Open the movie in QT player and then export it in Audio-only mode

Export only the audio using QuickTime Player 10

QuickTime Player gives you the option to export and share only the audio portion of your video. To export only the audio portion of your video, you can open your video in QuickTime Player. Choose export from the file menu. Type a name in the field "export as. Then on the Format menu, choose 'Audio Only' and click on export

    Try this link

Worked for me. But you can appearently send .nomedia file via bluetooth. I put in a rar file and then sent via bt then it extracted in the media of whatsapp folder.

There are also a few apps that do the same thing. Search playstore for nomedia you will find a test lot choose you.

The fault is in fact belongs to other applications on this issue. They should hide their media to the players themselves. I mean that their developers should do.

  • store a series of audio files

Hi, I'm developing an application where I wanted to add a series of audio files.  my current prototype does not load in the Simulator as soon as I add more of both .mp3.  I exchanged the actual mp3s and exit the project folder "/ bin", so it seems related to the overall size of the project.

My question is: what is the most effective way to store and play audio files?  I'm targeting 9800 models for my user base.  the best option would be to have install the audio files as a separate filesystem, where my code will then point to a constant file location?  which would limit the model of phones that I could target if I look at more than just 9800 models?

    tips are very welcome!

The best way to store mp3 files is located on the media map file system. I do not recommend to store mp3 files in the file system that is located in the device memory. Because in situations when it is internal memory volume lack smart phone BlackBerry becomes crazy and works unstable.

If you want to distribute with your application mp3 files, I see two ways.

The first: distribute mp3 files in the archive to be downloaded and extracted from the card out of holder of the device connected (via USB).

The second: download all the files needed by your application is installed and install on the SD card.

The second way is more expensive for your customers. You can implement both directions and letting a client select, an approach he prefers. Remember user about additional fees if client review selects installation wireless mp3 files.

  • Options for adjusting the audio files on several scens

    Hi all.

I just did a search for information on this question but couldn't fine anything specific to what I'm looking for. If there is already a thread that deals with this issue please feel free to point me in that direction.

I use flash cc. I have a .fla with 8 scenes (apparently I shouldn't use scenes as they are outdated now, but I find it more practical to scroll through thousands of images and test only small portions of the video together. "I just saw something combining .fla smaller and separate files so maybe next time, I'll try).  I have a lot of sound files embedded throughout these different scenes, each of them worth 'stream '.  There are a lot of voiceover and synchronization of the lips of character during several different layers.  So far, the time is fine and playback is fine on all scenes.

However, a friend who helps me with the said sound individual files need a lot of work (i.e. to change the volume (and perhaps EQ)) for some of them.  I could go back through each layer/instance and the volume individually but that the process takes time and, for some of them, the volume is already contributed to the maximum in the envelope and yet they need to be stronger (or doctored EQ), which means that their manipulation in hearing and then re - insert back into the time line.

This is my basic solution I want to fall back on if there is no other choice for a faster process. All audio files are .mp3 or .ogg.  Ideally, what I'd like is a way to extract all the sound elements of the .fla, (while maintaining the timing of each file compared to the other), in hearing as a session multitrack so that individual files can be modified accordingly and then reinserted back into the .fla and when is not affected.

Something tells me that is not particularly realistic depending on how flash works with scenes.  I've only worked with flash for about 5 weeks, so my experience is quite limited.  Any suggestions on how to make this task easier, even if only a little?

Oh, it's another solution, that someone suggested that, rather than insert the file itself in the line of time (from the library) I could insert a bit of actionscript code that points to the location of the file.  This way I could load all the files in audition manipulate them, then save them with the location where the points of actionscript and the timeline would automatically update accordingly.   I don't know if this is a solution for my situation even though I understand actionscript is very versatile in this way.   However, I also read that actionscript can confuse the calendar sync sound/animation on several stages, when it is piled up all together at the time of publication.  Any ideas?

    Thank you

There is nothing wrong with scenes, they are very useful at the same time. People who say do not use maybe never had cases that show the utility they are.

If you use the stream for the lip sync, you should have stayed with WAV, which is much easier to manipulate than the MP3.

External MP3 with the code reading would have been almost impossible lip sync.

The fastest solution would be if you had external files you imported originally, then you could take those by hearing and import new files to the library, to replace those who was there.

If you do not have the external sound files original there is a trick that you can do. Go into every scene and make an orders/convert to other Document Formats/HTML5 Canvas. A little whim of the converter is that it converts the level you are and any FLA (unless you happen to the next level.) I hope that you will get this scene as a HTML5 Canvas in Florida you can then do a test movie, and it will publish to all the sounds in a folder, ready for Audition. You can find the file names have changes, and you need resolve names before you import the new sounds into the AS3 FLA, give them correctly.

If that sounds intimidating, install Flash Pro CS6, what you can do on the part of previous Versions of the CC/Apps tab. CS6 you can right-click on each sound in the library and edit it in the hearing. Unfortunately, this requires hearing 9.0, which you would also need to install the previous Version of CC/Apps (and it will overwrite your current version). I ee who's here is 9.2.0, which I think might work.

So, to find the sound files original would be the easiest way, and moving by HTML5 Canvas might work more easy to reinstall CS6 and hearing 9.2.0.

  • Add logic to an audio file to play only 1 time.

I have a slide in which the user will come back several times. It contains an audio file that I would only play the first time that the user is viewing this slide. How do I do that? I have 9 Captivate.

This makes it easier. Remove the slide audio, first find in the library, because you will use a command to run only the first time.

Create a v_visit variable user with a default value of 0.

Create this conditional action advances (or shared):

    IF v_visit equals 0

Play Audio... Add the extract audio from library

    Assign the v_visit with 1

    Continue

    ON THE OTHER

    Continue

Oops, forgot one last step: trigger this action by the event to enter the slide.

If you prefer to use across multiple slides, you need to reset the variable to 0, perhaps by using the next button on the slide? Do not use the on exit event, unless you are sure that the last image of the slide will be reached. This is not the case if you have a button depending on who has the action «Go ├a next page»

Rick workflow was the only possible in older versions, before ordering that Play Audio appeared. I spoke on this subject:

  • Extract audio tracks from a specialized CD

I'm quite new to Adobe A / V applications used Sony Sound Forge and Vegas for many years. I am now a monthly subscriber to creative cloud and think it might be a good idea to learn the hearing, first, etc. since I use also Acrobat, Lightroom, Photoshop, and Dreamweaver.

My audio workflow is probably very different from more than I work part-time in a church and treat a certain number of CDs that contain always securities division (instruments left, right voices) and usually a demonstration track and a single stereo instrument track. The instrument split track and stereo song versions contains several tracks in their breast for practical purposes. When I use the command «Extract audio CDs...» "I usually select all the tracks but would like to have all of these tracks included in a file .wav with markers inserted at each track. Is it possible?

The only way that I was able to rebuild the multitrack files after extracking in hearing one song must open each track in Audition, and then create a multitrack and total session, each song together on one line to single track. It's a lot of time, especially when some of the CDs have several songs and can contain individual tracks of 70-90 (divisions).

Another thing that I have not been able to find a way to do is to take a split track that is contained in a stereo track audition multitrack session and create two mono tracks - one containing the instruments and the other containing the voice. Our conductor will sometimes want to eliminate parts of the vocal tracks and use a soloist instead and have both tracks as separate mono tracks makes it easier, even if I know that I can open the piece in the Waveform Editor and have access to the track either left or right separately.

I also looking for a course manual or online for learning many of the Adobe products. Any suggestions?

    Your help is most appreciated!

    Hi David,

While it is not (yet) an option to extract a CD in a single file (I've marked the feature request in our database for review and the definition of priorities), you can more easily add separate files using the file > Open Append menu command.

Then, use the command Edit > extract channels to Mono files to break the l/r channels in separate files.  You can insert in a new multitrack session and your instrumentation can be mixed separately of the voice.

  • Extract Audio from video error

    Hello

Recently, I reformatted my computer.  Before I reformatted, I could extract the audio of a video without problem.  However, I now get this error message:

The selected file is not a supported video file format, or the video codec that is required to open this file was not found.

The message to any video format, I've tried, including .avi and .mpg,

I have the codecs for these formats installed.  Am I missing something else that is required for the hearing, to extract audio?

    Thank you.

There is actually someone who does this kind of thing to advise you - and this isn't me, I'm afraid. In many ways, you'd be better to ask the question on AudioMasters, because there is some video users.

Adobe have made it extremely difficult to use their forums now, and people are leaving in mass - as most advocates long-term hearing. To be honest, I have only to answer questions here because I'm a little sorry for the innocent people who post on this forum thinking they can get support - if it wasn't for a very small handful of us, there would be nothing at all. AudioMasters is an altogether better bet - more than anything, we have a little more together full hearing FAQ here that you will find nowhere else at all and we are approved by Adobe.

  • Can't understand why audio files always take a lot of space on my macbook

Hi everyone, I apologize if this has been asked before, I'm going cross-eyed trying to find an answer.

Stupidly, I didn't use iCloud DOES NOT mean that all my music and photos would be stored on the cloud and take MUCH space on my macbook. I discovered the hard way. So I'm moving all my pictures and music on an external drive. All well and dandy. Except that since I moved my iTunes library and all my music files, when I look at my storage, it shows still 154 GB allocated to audio. (Meanwhile there are now 140 GB Audio on my seagate SOMETHING that was supposed to happen happened.) I've looked everywhere, I can't understand why there are still some 154 GB of audio files on my laptop. Any suggestions or tips are greatly appreciated. Please be lenient, I was on a pc for a few decades and finally crossed the step last year, but I'm still confused by all this cloud stuff and find my way in on a mac. (I'm on OS X Yosemite). I guess it's one thing to iTunes, but I could be far away.

    Thank you in advance.

I guess that after you copied the folder iTunes external hard disk, you checked if everything is there, then deleted the folder iTunes on your Mac drive.

If NOT, then you know what to do.

If so, force Spotlight to reindex the reader.

Rebuild the index on your Mac - Apple Support Spotlight

iTunes: link again or external HD library:

    * Open iTunes while holding down Option (Mac) or shift (Windows).

    * In the dialog box, click Choose library.

    * Select the iTunes folder that you moved to the external hard drive.

    * Click on choose (Mac OS X) or open (Windows), and then choose the library inside iTunes file.

  • audio files do not play sound after the restoration of the links

I recently moved to a project from one disk to another.

When I opened it the project folder I had to recreate a link to all the media which seemed to have a lot of success. However the audio files do not seem to play any sound. When I tell one of the audio files in the finder window, it take me for an alias file. When I try to open this file, it indicates that the original file cannot be found.

I tried to remove the entire library of files sound and re-import them back in. But still, it does not solve this ridiculous issue.

    Any suggestions?
