  I am currently in the situation that I need to print something, in the case of witch, I decided to use a HP Deskjet F2180 I had laying around. I use Windows Vista Ultimate 64-bit so I thought I was good off to download this file. Appearently that was not the case. It fails during step 3 of 4 of the installation process.

  The error States:

  SourceFile was not "C:\users\***\AppData\Local\Temp\7zSA5E7.tmp\setup\Toolbox\Toolbox1030.cab".

  And then it pops up with another error, a word on ""C:\users\***\AppData\Local\Temp\7zSA5E7.tmp\setup\hpzmsi01.exe " "

  Then it analyzes the log, and this is what is said:

  Error code: 193060200

  Hi, the self-test on my F2180 page shows the last error code is C0840001. I know that 'C' means material, '084' is the id of the component, "00" is the type of product and '01' is the error code itself. However, I do not know what component it means or what the error code.   During the installation of the HP Deskjet F2180 Solution Center, it says "fatal error" - couldn t write the key to '\SOFTWARE' more 'MSI '. GPBaseService2"error.

  I tried several times to completely uninstall all this software and remove the key in regedit and reinstall it. I have also respected the order: first install, after that connect printer. HP Digital Imagiing monitor works but not enough iťs for me. Maybe there is a problem with permissions in Windows, who knows. I just installed Windows 7 Professional 32-bit.

  I have solve it without help. A few key registry could not be written in \SOFTWARE, so I set the permission to write to this folder in regedit and it works!

• All in One F2180 relocation

  I have a F2180 all in one, which keeps install every time I connect to my computer and turn on the prnter. I am running Vista Home Premium. I have about 5 copies of the printer now, with printing in other copies of the printer which are displayed in the form of "offline".

  Try to remove all the icons with the name HP F2100 printer and remove any paper stuck in their queue need. Insert the installation CD, and then select the option Add a device. Once the installation is complete, follow these steps...

  1. click on the start menu and click on "Run" and type "services.msc" and press the Enter key.
  2. in the Services window, locate the HP CUE Device Discovery Service and double-click it.
  3. you should see a button titled 'STOP '. Click on this button.
  4 above, you should find something that says "Startup Type" Change that on 'off '.
  5. click on the button "Apply" and close all windows.

  Once this is done, do not reinstall it again, and no copies of the printer must be created.

  I have a HP Deskjet F2180 all-in-One Printer Scanner Copier and is connected to a 32 bit Windows Vista computer.

  My F2180 now allows two error messages at startup as follows:-"hpqst08.exe" and then "HP CUE status root has stopped working."

  hpqst08.exe error reads "the application is not properly initialize (0xc0150004).» Click OK to close the application. »

  HP CUE status root has stopped working reads 'a problem caused blocking the program works correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available. »

  I've uninstalled and reinstalled the software, but the error still occurs.  Seems to have happened after an update of Windows Vista (this machine is rarely connected to the Net).

  Any ideas to fix it please?

  Click Start
  In the search window, type services.msc
  Click on the above result that says services (you may need to right click and choose Run as administrator to open)
  Look for the HP Cue (or similar)
  Make sure it is started and in auto mode (automatic not delayed or manual)

  If it is not automatic, set it to that, and then restart the computer.

  If this does not work

  Click Start
  Type msconfig in the search window
  Click on the above result
  Go to the Startup tab
  Uncheck hpqtray08 and hpqst08.exe if it is in the list
  Click on apply, then OK and perform a restart

  If you want to say that you just clicked on the icon for your HP F2180 and choose 'remove', you don't need the floppy, and you don't need to download anything.  Simply connect the printer to the computer and it should be recognized and installed automatically - because the removal of the icon of the printer has not, in fact, deleted the printer driver.

  2 reset
  3. connect the printer to the computer

  Just a short line, one of my custoimers complained that since the evolution of its psc 1410 to a new f2180 it cannot analyze the documents in pdf format. The selection of files gives only the image files formats.

  I have a F2180 Desk jet all-in-one printer and scanner, and it prints but don't scanns. I ve tried using the installation cD, but it gets stuck and has information that sistem doenst have ways to fit to do. This type of printers allways gave me problems. Now, I can't use the CD yet. I NEED TO USE THE SCANNER for MY master'S DEGREE WORK... and its been nerve breaking. I'll also tried to change something in my sistem but it's the same thing. CAN YOU HELP ME PLEASE?

• USB device not recognized - F2180 all-in-One

  I'm having a hard time getting anything out of my F2180 all-in-One printer.

  It worked well for awhile, but now I get a message from Windows Vista saying that the USB device is not recognized and the State showing as disconnected. I tried a number of things that resulted in no results:

  1 installed Driver Detective and updated all my drivers.

  2 disconnected the printer from the mains and the USB cable from the computer. Connected, rebooted and still nothing.

  3 entretienavec the computer on the network. Trendy, rebooted and still not recognized.

  4. run the Diagnostics of the HP. Watch there are connection issues and documents stuck in print, but not able to set.

  I had a glance on the forum to see if others have similar problems, and although some have, no solution seems to come. Don't know what to do now. If anyone can offer help, it would be most appreciated.

  Just a suggestion, try to change the usb cable...

  or connect any other USB flash drive device and check if it still not encourage recognize...

  some cases, maybe it would chipset issues on your computer if it does the same thing with your other USB devices except the keyboard and mouse.

  There are no drivers HP but I found the driver of HP Deskjet F2100 series from the Apple site that hopefully, will work for you. It's a fairly large download.

  Printer HP v.2.16.1 for OS X drivers.

  It is a list of available printers that are supported.

  OS X: printer and scanner software available for download.

  Although at the end it said it could not find no problem - after a second or two the printer suddenly burst into life and it worked great since and I could get my printing done on time!

  Hello. Please forgive me, but this is very new to me. I recently bought a new PC with Windows Vista 32 bit OS desktop computer. After the upgrade to Win 7 32 bit, I was put on all my programs that were on my old desktop (also under Win 7). All right, except that I can't get my HP F2180 all-in-one to work. Download from the HP website just will not end. I also downloaded DOT4Wrapper repair, always the same. Then I saw a message on hpzidr12.dll missing, which I downloaded and installed in the Sytem32 folder, still no go. I got an error report about hpzstub.exe not compatible. I tried Msiexec\unregister and Msiexec\reregister - not good. Tried to disable the start-up of objects - not good. I have installed/uninstalled this program at least 12 times and its driving me crazy, I've never had a problem on my old PC. Please help I need the operation of analysis as part of my work.

  Yes, this printer will not support USB 3.0 port. Try to use the USB 2.0 on the other computer and let me know if you still have any questions.

• F2180 fails to print in black

  I have an opportunity intermittently F2180 used primarily as a photo-Copier and scanner. It's about a year or two.

  It stopped printing black. I tried three different cartridges (both new), cleaning, software diagnosis of HP, etc. but nothing helps.

  As part of these actions, I very rarely managed to get a small black print fragmented on a single page. Colors work very well. Diagnostic software shows no flaws. Contacts interfacing to the cleaning cartridge made no improvement.

  Another thing to try before the pruning of the thing in the trash?
