HP Deskjet F2180 - error C0840001

Hi, the self-test on my F2180 page shows the last error code is C0840001. I know that 'C' means material, '084' is the id of the component, "00" is the type of product and '01' is the error code itself. However, I do not know what component it means or what the error code. Does anyone know? F2180 belongs to the all-in-one HP F2100 series, similar to F4100 series. Thank you.

It is on the right, cib3k, this type of error is a general error, and most of the time will not affect the overall performance of your machine. Generally speaking, however, this type of error occurs when it is a question related to the power of the machine and is usually removed by turning off the power of the machine.

Also making sure that the machine is constantly getting the correct amount of energy will avoid these mistakes 90% of the time.

I hope this information helps!

  • F2180 errors at startup as follows - hpqst08.exe and HP CUE status root has stopped working

I have a HP Deskjet F2180 all-in-One Printer Scanner Copier and is connected to a 32 bit Windows Vista computer.

My F2180 now allows two error messages at startup as follows:-"hpqst08.exe" and then "HP CUE status root has stopped working."

hpqst08.exe error reads "the application is not properly initialize (0xc0150004).» Click OK to close the application. »

HP CUE status root has stopped working reads 'a problem caused blocking the program works correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available. »

I've uninstalled and reinstalled the software, but the error still occurs.  Seems to have happened after an update of Windows Vista (this machine is rarely connected to the Net).

Any ideas to fix it please?

    Click Start
In the search window, type services.msc
Click on the above result that says services (you may need to right click and choose Run as administrator to open)
Look for the HP Cue (or similar)
Make sure it is started and in auto mode (automatic not delayed or manual)

If it is not automatic, set it to that, and then restart the computer.

    If this does not work

    Click Start
Type msconfig in the search window
    Click on the above result
    Go to the Startup tab
Uncheck hpqtray08 and hpqst08.exe if it is in the list
Click on apply, then OK and perform a restart

I hope that it is possible, otherwise I'll have to buy a new...

    Hi Richard,

Welcome to the HP Forums, I hope you enjoy your experience!

I understand that you need drivers for 10.7.5.

I'll be happy to help you.

There are no drivers HP but I found the driver of HP Deskjet F2100 series from the Apple site that hopefully, will work for you. It's a fairly large download.

Printer HP v.2.16.1 for OS X drivers.

It is a list of available printers that are supported.

OS X: printer and scanner software available for download.

    I hope this helps.

Thanks for posting on the HP Forums.
    Good day!

  • HP Pavilion: Computer says printer HP deskjet F2180 door open, but it is closed

Computer says printer HP deskjet F2180 door open, but it is closed.  Printer seems to be happy and work OK (no lights telling me that there is a problem) and when I took the cartridges (21 and 22) and then put back them in the printer, he printed the document scan for me.  It's just that, in the section printer HP on the PC, it says 1 document in the queue and printer: door open.  I have tried everything - everything is off for 30 seconds, etc., and time is of the essence that I have things printed on Saturday pm and collated etc..  Help, please!  Thank you, Lindaeleanor.

Thanks Musicman - I was so desperate that I wore to try anything.  In the end,.

    Click on: Control Panel

    Click on: computer problems

    Click on: use a printer

It came up with a window named troubleshoot & help prevent problems,

    Click on: next and EXPECTED

Although at the end it said it could not find no problem - after a second or two the printer suddenly burst into life and it worked great since and I could get my printing done on time!

Thank you very much for your efforts in replying to me.

    Best regards, Lindaeleanor

    Hello @abenc85, greetings!

Thank you for becoming a member of the HP Forum. It's a place dynamite to get help from the community, to get suggestions and find what has worked for others.

I understand that you are having problems during the installation of the Deskjet printer on your computer Windows 10. Try the following steps to resolve the problem:

    • Start by unplugging the USB cable between the printer and the PC.
    • Go to control panel of configuration-programs and features, select all entries of HP printer and uninstall them.
    • Go to control panel, devices and printers, select each printer entry and then select remove printer / device.
    • Now press the 'windows' key + 'r' to open the window "Run" - type "printui.exe/s" and press ENTER.
    • Under the print server properties, go to the drivers - delete any input there as well.
    • Once again go to run the window, type - "c:/programdata" - go to the Hewlett-Packard folder, delete any printer related folders & files.
    • Now restart your computer.
    • Reopen the run window, type "services.msc" and press ok to get the services window.
    • Scroll down to "RPC Remote Procedure Call ()" - right click and go to properties. Make sure that the service is started and the startup type is "automatic".
    • Now, scroll to the top and go to 'Function Discovery Provider Host' - right click and select properties-change the startup type to "manual" and start the service.
    • Repeat the same exercise on "Function Discovery Resource Publication" as well.
    • Click http://ftp.hp.com/pub/softlib/software13/printers/DJ3700_Basicx64_1079.exe and install the drivers.
    • Select the type of connection and then connect the USB cable if necessary.

Please let me know if that solves the problem, or if you need assistance

  • All-in-one HP Deskjet 3525: error 0XB808DEDE on wifi connect

I have a HP Deskjet 3525 multifuntional printer. My ISP changed the modem with a new wifi router included. When I connecrt the printer to the wireless network, the Connectine is made, then the printer gives the following error code: 0XB808DEDE. The error code persists and the printer can use should.

I have tryied hard reset the error is still there. But if I change the wifi network, to another (another wifi router), all things are fine, the printer connects well, error will detect and can be used. Also, if I use the printer with the usb connection, the printer works.

The only time where it gives the above error is to connect to my ISP router. The router is a router/modem Ubee EVW3226.

    Hello

I solved my problem. Called my ISP support and it seems that the UBEE router/modem has a bug of incompatibility with certain HP printers. They changed my modem/router with another (Cisco this time) and I get no more error.

In conclusion, if you got the 0XB808DEDE error code you must you change your wireless router.

  • I accidentally deleted my printer HP deskjet F2180 of printers and fax machines.

How to restore the printer above. I don't know where is the original installation disc.

    Help

If you want to say that you just clicked on the icon for your HP F2180 and choose 'remove', you don't need the floppy, and you don't need to download anything.  Simply connect the printer to the computer and it should be recognized and installed automatically - because the removal of the icon of the printer has not, in fact, deleted the printer driver.

If necessary, perform the following steps and install your printer:

    1. disconnect the printer from the computer
    2 reset
    3. connect the printer to the computer

If this does not work, you'd better explain exactly what you were doing to accidentally delete the printer, as well as what happens when you do the 3 steps above.  If you receive error messages, please do not paraphrase.

  • DeskJet Ink Advantage 3545: 3545 Deskjet HP errors

    Hi all

I have two problems with my HP Deskjet Ink Advantage 3545.It is connected via the wireless network.

One began two months ago. It was a mistake to NOS_Loader_App 0X83C0000A. I found a way around this problem simply disconnect the printer of decision-making, by restarting the computer and turn on the printer again. If the printer was on, the error doesn't happen until the printer is turned on and turn it on again.

However four days ago there was a power outage in my area. When the power supply has been restored the printer started showing an "error code 0XB3707004, I couldn't"solve"or work around for two days. The printer has been disconnected overnight and today I tried my luck. The result is that the printer is now running.

Is there a solution to avoid these problems? A reinstall and restore to the default settings solve the problem? And what should I do, if this problem occurs again?

Thanks in advance for your answers

    Frank91

Hi @Frank91and welcome to the Forums of HP!

I'd be happy to help you to answer the question that you should take a preventive measure to protect your printer from the mistakes regarding. First of all, you have the printer connected directly to a wall outlet or is it in a bar protector or surge rating? Even if you have used a surge protector/power bar this whole time and you feel that this is not the case, please connect to a wall outlet so that we can eliminate the source of energy as the primary cause.   Questions when it is connected to an uninterruptible power supply/Strip/surge protector power

In this document, you will see, QUESTION: questions or problems may arise when a HP LaserJet printer is connected to a UPS (UPS), a power strip or a surge protector

↑ This is not limited to the Laserjet printers.

The power supply is usually one of the main causes of many problems that can occur. If the problem persists, I suggest performing a hard reset. To do this, leave the printer and unplug the power cable for 1 minute. While it is unplugged, press and hold the power button on the printer for 10-15 seconds to release built his power, then after the minute, plug the printer in.

If it meets your needs, please consider tagging this post as solved by clicking accepted as Solution below and others can find the answer more effectively.

Also, when you try to print something that is the color black and white to save the ink, the preview is black and white but it prints in color. It is now used all of the color ink despite having not print anything in color as he continues to stop printing so I have to restart.

I looked at and it seems that nobody else is having these problems, it's just my printer? I bought it on Amazon last week and I don't know that I can return it as the color ink was all used (unintentially). Can I do to fix this problem?

  • DeskJet D2660 - errors Windows 8.1 - don't Print - out

    Hello!

    I have a HP Deskjet D2660. I have a Dell

    Inspiron 15R 5521

    . I have Windows 64-bit of 8.1.

When I try to print a document, or PDF printer will sometimes just leave the document in the queue and change the "status of mutiple symbols such as *! ^ #% ~ ~ * & instead of saying "printing error, deletion, etc...". Sometimes the HP Solution Center will send a pop up and tell me that the printer cannot print. Sometimes, I get an error of communication. But no matter, I am unable to print whole pages. When the printer decides it wants to print it will show 1/4 of the document and stop with a pop-up that says "unable to print document" Center of HP solutions also appears and says the same thing.

I tried the "guided" solutions I stopped and restarted the "print spooler" from Device Manager. I have uninstalled and reinstalled my software to print several times as deleted and reinstalled all the drivers of hp associated with this printer model. I ran the HP program doctor. I used the "HP Updater" that tells me that there is no update and I'm updating. All this without result. I need a solution that works and I need it as soon as possible. I'm at the point where I'm ready to take this printer and run it with my truck because being able to print is a very important aspect of my office at home I prepare tax returns and must be able to print. I don't want to change the printer because the printer has always been reliable and does exactly what I need to do it, PRINTING of DOCUMENTS and. PDF files. But now it won't.

Please help me to get this resolved as soon as possible! I appreciate all the suggestions that I have not tried!

    Knaus Tax Prep

To solve the problem I bought a used HP F4180 and it works fine with my system. I guess the d2660 is just old. Thanks anyway!

  • HP Deskjet 1512: Error applying driver settings, then a problem prevented the scanned Document

I can't find any question about scanning on this product, I want to post a picture of my screen, but can't. This occurs when you try to scan anything. The first screen comes up with "Error applying settings to Driver" then then once the product has tried to sweep is the error message "a problem prevented the Document are analyzed. I had this product since almost a year and were only able to analyse once. I tried in vain to follow all the troubleshooting steps and nothing works. I'm starting to hate this printer. I uninstalled and reinstalled, restarted my computer and more after each uninstall and reinstall. I unplugged USB and power cords. This software/scanner driver sucks!

I do not usually bother with these sites, but since I seem to be the only person who knows the solution for application error settings driver with scanners I should share it. I went through three Microsoft technicians and they were at a loss. They usually end by saying that I have installed a bad iso image and need to download a new one and reinstall. But anywho the fix is... run your registry editor and go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\StillImage and remove the key from the photo don't worry it will be recreated with the key parameters appropriate because the pilot he rewrites and there you go no scanner error more I have to add that I am on win 10 x 64 with a Canon mp280 printer , but this should apply to windows 7 and upwards.

  • DESKJET 3052 error message has 'computer not found '.

hooked wireless, Windows 8, error message "not found computer" when scanning, is gone in circles with print & scan doctor

Try connecting the printer to the computer with USB.

Then, try to scan. Let me know the results.
