• Meta Refresh does not refresh the menu drop-down select options but don't check the boxes... IE works without error (Max FF issue)

  Drop-down list not update even if the html code was changed using the meta refresh tag. The problem has been resolved by deleting the name of the list in the html code in the part of my page refresh. It's a php script, so I can do but with html directly, I don't see a way to solve the problem for others finding this a problem, FF should not do this.

  Example:

  the script modifies the page preceding between the discount and the 'real' html that resolves this problem, otherwise FF does not update the drop-down lists at all, but it is updated check boxes and everything.

  You must reload and bypass the cache to reset the choices made through selection and from the drop-down list boxes.
  
  Otherwise the selection are reloaded from the cache, so a meta reload does not work either (can work if you reset the through an onload event).

  I recently had to reinstall Windows 7 on my machine, and since it has been wiped off I installed CS5, reconfigured my Dreamweaver site and made changes to our page index.html (so far).  After you put the files on my remote server, I noticed that Firefox does not display the changes I made to this file - it is to show the page previously recorded on my CS4 version.  Thinking it was a cache problem, I emptied, refreshed/reloaded several times, restarted Firefox - nothing has worked.

  I checked the page in IE8 and all changes are not displayed correctly.  I used BrowserLab to display a preview in IE, Firefox (same version 3.6 which I use) and Safari, and all 3 display correctly version update of the page.  Visualization in 'live' of Firefox seems to be the problem, and I've looked everywhere for answers. Help is needed and appreciated!

  It is possible that you redefined the site incorrectly and put the files to the wrong address on the server. Carefully check both your local and remote sites definitions.

• Why tabs open when broswer reopens? Worked fine in previous versions, but given that "Refresh" does not work. Never.

  Version 25.0.1 when I close the browser, all my previous tabs have disappeared when I open it again and it goes to the home page of firefox. I have my options set to reopen the previous tabs and I reset it at least 10 times and he won't stay. When I reopen it the browser, I get the firefox homepage, and option has been reset to their default value. This is NOT a function, it is a bug. One of my favorite features of firefox has been that I can have 3 or 4 tabs open, and whenever I restart, I get these exact same tabs without having to click or hunt.

  I'm not the only one having this problem, I checked with a few people I know who updated their system to 25.0.1 and they get the same thing.

  Ideas? Please?

  If the conservation rules: is set to use custom settings for historical history clear when closing Firefox is selected, then click the settings button and make sure that the navigation history is not selected

  In addition, in the details of your system, it seems that you have a User.js file in your profile folder . The user.js file does not exist by default. If you create the file, forget it, if you do not create the file, then try to remove the User.js file, to see if the problem goes away (some programs of also create the file).

  No doubt you are using the same machine and ISP but currently using another browser apparently IE8. First, clear the browser cache and temporarily disable any security software.

  Hi you all, I have a horrible problem with Dreamweaver CC on mac (10.8) quad core, 32 GB RAM...

  When highlighting something in design mode, it accentuates don't no the code more like older versions used to.

  I completely uninstalled, reinstalled, checked all the fonts system for problems, I can't get this fixed a problem, and I have to give up CC and return to the old version, to be able to work!

• Button refresh does not appear in the address bar and Favorites bar is empty when I first start FF30

  When I launch Firefox 30, my favorite bar is empty. I have to deselect in view > toolbars, and select new it and they appear.
  Also, my refresh button at the far right of the address bar has disappeared and all I see is a magnifying glass.
  Another question, I now have is that when I copy and paste the URL of any page in the location bar, this then triggers a Google search and go directly to the page associated with the URL.
  I tried to rename the profile FF and uninstalling/reinstalling FF, but this has not resolved.
  Pointers as my next step should be would be appreciated.

  However I have addressed myself in addons successively disabling and re-enabling them until I discovered the culprit.
  The culprit that I discovered was the classic theme restaurateur, who has now been duly disabled and will not be used again.

  I have this same problem. Windows 10, 64-bit, the latest version of iTunes. First off the coast, I'm happy that I'm not the only one with this problem. I tried to uninstall/reinstall nothing helps. What will work until a solution can be found is you login to your account and then refresh the podcasts. My problem started Monday afternoon and I could not update my podcasts while logged in since then. I also posted in iTunes Reddit forum. If I get an answer here I'll post it here. Good luck.

• HP Omni 10 Webcam does not

  I have a HP Omni 10 with Windows 8.1.  Recently, I discovered that my webcam does not work.  Whenever I press the camera application on the start menu, it gives me the message "to start, connect a camera."  I read a few solutions to go to Device Manager and uninstall and then reinstall the device, but I can't find the webcam in the Device Manager either.

  So I guess it has been uninstalled some how.  If this is the case, can someone please tell me how to reinstall, or if it is a totally different question?  Thank you!

  @KCPat - there are several possible reasons for the application of your Omni to camera does not, so perhaps more time than just 'fixing' to find the exact cause. On my own Omni (with devices of work) there's no driver with 'Caméra' in its name. However, when you scroll through the list of drivers, you may identify one or more marked as disabled. The list is presented initially with categories is collapsed, then look inside any category showing a minus sign (-) rather than a Plus (+) next to it. The task manager can also reveal some startup items that may be present but disabled.  Whenever you disable or re-enable the drivers or startup items, reboot your Tablet subsequently to ensure that Windows recognizes the change - even if you're not be prompted to restart via a pop - up.

  There are a lot of dependencies between the Windows operating system components, if precisely identify all tasks activated by individual components of Windows is "above the pay grade" for most of us - including the advisors 'useful' mucking-comments under the hood in a session remotely.  Keep a detailed list of all changes made to the settings the device or start during troubleshooting, so that you can restore them to their original state, later.

  If you get this far without getting your app camera work, the next likely step can be to choose the recovery options. The fastest option "Refresh" does not change your data, but still will require you to re - install extra software from 3rd - party that has not provided by HP or Microsoft. However, before proceeding with recovery options, I encourage you to check with HP technical support 1 & and/or update this thread with all the additional measures taken and your results...

• omini HP 10 does not start

  I brought the new tab omini. After the update and insert memory card tab showed ocons inadmissible start button. Now after trying several times it don't be startedany more.

  If a refresh does not work, you may need to try a reset. This is the same as the older system recovery and return the tablet in its factory condition.

• 8.1 Windows pc does not start after you uninstall Avast

  8.1 Windows pc with a 120 GB SSD primary and secondary 1 TB HHD.

  I decided to uninstall Avast, that we have a spare license on pay an anti virus package. The pc has been verified to ensure that all updates have been made and the pilots were up-to-date with a reboot after each. But after uninstalling Avast and restart I noticed the message Preparation AutoFix, which was not successful.  After which she was trying to diagnose. I tried to update, but it says there was a problem with refresh. Has been no change. he says there is no system restore points. Startup Repair couldn't fix it PC and gave the location of the log file that I opened via the command prompt. That indicates the number of causes deep = 1. All tests show results completed successfully and the error code = 0x0, except one, which is

  Name: Test of the registry hives
  Result: Completed successfully. Error code = 0 x 0
  Time taken = 859ms
  Root cause found:
  ---------
  Registry is corrupt
  Repair action: roll back register
  Result: failed. Error code = 0 x 2
  taking time = 0ms

  Now I don't know what to do! BUT before you do anything I want to look at and could ask for advice on this, the SSD 120 that Windows is on is almost full. I consider getting a greater capacity, especially if it is perhaps a better workaround. So can someone advise... Should I try and get somehow the problem resolved with the existing SSD, or will I get a new SSD and install Windows 8 on that and then try and extract what I maybe need off the old SSD? I would add that I have an installation disc of Windows 8 and then put far to 8,1 win via a download.

  I would add also... I'm not an expert with these things should easy understand so help!

  Thanks for getting back to me. My questions are exactly the same as the original thread. After unistalling avast my 8.1 win goes into a loop of repair, no access to the office, safe mode, refresh does not work.  tried everything etcetcetcetc original thread and more. Consider no solution found.

  At the time you reported this, we had an operational problem that caused higher than normal on the system and eventually caused load one of the nodes to restart.  Threads will appear in the thread view is probably caused by the heavy load / node restart, so now that the system is working correctly, the problem is no longer.
