  • .Gif animation takes time to start playing in the web

    Hello! I'm new here...

The title says it pretty well...

I made some GIFs for web animations. I use 'save for web and devices' and get a nice compact file, but once it is uploaded to a server and I opened the .gif in my browser (google chrome), it takes time to start changing the first image for others, even if the delay is only 3 seconds. I use PS CS4 Extended.

Is this behaviour normal .gif and the question can be dependent on my system (HP compaq nx7010) or is there a button unflipped somewhere in Photoshop?

How many kilobytes make up your definition of a nice compact file?

Playback speed can be affected by the bandwidth connection, the particular browser used and the speed of the system.

I have the HP 15-r033tx laptop it takes 1-2 minute during start-up every time. It shows to the course to watch from 'office preparation' etc. I want to know that take time to start is ok or not, that I also use windows desktop 8 Hp and it takes 15 seconds to start.

    Hello

You have a lot of elements starup being initialized during boot?

To find out the starting process Goto Start > type msconfig hit search enter the bar.

Look in the Startup tab and find out what begins as Windows starts.

Don't stop all windows services or anything associated with Microsoft. You can see a lot of third party programs from Windows which you can stop execution at the start of your system. Things like (example) Skype, Google updater ETC.)

You can also download and install Malwarebytes that will scan your system to see if any memory of suspects or pilot processes are running in the background. Also a Disk Defrag can contribute to consolidate all your togethor of programs for the hard drive is not skip looking for fragmented entries.

It seems that the laptop may be overheating.  Are you sure there is enough air past for laptop?  Make sure that it is on a flat surface, with nothing to obstruct the ventilation openings.  Make sure that the vents and fans and heat sinks are free from dust - examine their blowing with compressed air (power of the system first, of course).  Depending on the laptop model, it may be relatively easy to blow off the dust with compressed air, or otherwise clean up things a bit.   Fans should be kept up well - only no right turn when being ripped off.  My Dell laptop has a removable fan (two small screws need to be removed) that can easily be blown.  This also allows access to the fins of the heatsink.

Some laptops also have a removable filter that traps the dust and must be regularly inspected and cleaned.

Are all the BIOS settings for the adjustment of the temperature, the value lower than the manufacturer's recommendations and the default values (you need to check the manual of your laptop for this).  Also make sure you run the latest version of BIOS (again, the manual of your laptop would have the details; the manufacturer's website should also have this information).

  • Why dose my laptop take a long time to start?

My lap top takes 3mins to start why?

    Hello

Three minutes is not long however you can probably cut that with these methods.

You can use these to control which startup programs. Many others who settle start-up are not
really need to be there. As Acrobat Reader (Adobe), Agent of WinAmp and many others who
load chunks of themselves to start more quickly (not a problem on the machines of today ' hui) and to make sure that they
can control the files they support (to be sure that you continue to use only). Those who are not common
examples and not meant as a slam on these programs very well.

  • Satellite M300 PSMDCA takes a long time to start

I have a Toshiba Satellite M300 PSMDCA - 01800C and there are some problems with it.

First of all, when you start the computer, it takes a long time to start and activate Outlook.
I am running Windows 7Home Premium.
Computers arrow where I bought the computer told me that it can take up to three hours to go back through each process at startup?

Is it normal that all I wanted was a simple portable easy fast, but it seems that I am stuck again.

Also, when I go back to the computer, even after some time the mouse it does not provide new and pushing the Start button just a blank screen. Alt + Ctrl + delete, then he activates Windows again and then after having put my password and I have to wait for that be again loaded everything that takes so long. Any ideas?

Also I often get the message when the computer starts "error has occurred in Toshiba PC Health Monitor. He will leave the application. "Main.frm.cpp (184). Any ideas?

Quite often when I am scrolling with the mouse, the screen will turn black and flash and a message «the NVIDIA display driver... couldn't Reg...» "and he will correct itself after awhile. Frustrating!
Quite often when scrolling on the websites of the page I'm going to freeze?

I use MS Office 2010 and there is a problem trying to save Word documents and a message comes up with "a file permission error.

    Any thoughts? Thanks, Shirl51

    This nonsense!
The system should boot up quickly my laptop needs 30 seconds to start.
In my opinion, the system is screwed

In your case, I recommend to reinstall the system.
Did you create the recovery disk?
If this isn't the case, I think that detailed instructions should be placed in the user's manual.

After the recovery of disk has been created, restore the system, BUT save the data before doing so because the recovery disk would be to format the HARD drive and you lose data!

    Hi @Vishalwagh123,

Welcome to HP's Forums a great way to get help. It's a great place to find answers and advice! Thanks for the post.

I understand you have questions turn on/off the device and you must press the power button several times for him to start. I'll be happy to help you.

Please try these steps first. Perform a hard reset.

    • Steps to do:
    • Turn off the computer and unplug the charger. Then remove the battery.
    • Press and hold the power button on the unit for 15 seconds to carry out the static electrical charges inside the machine.
    • Replace the battery and the charger plug it back. Try to turn on the computer.

If it fires up immediately the issue is resolved. Otherwise, try to turn on the computer without the battery and check that it works immediately.

In your message, you said that it works very well with the charger. However, I need more clarity here to help you better.

It works immediately when the adapter is connected and the power button is pushed only once?

If you again press the power button several times, it may be a faulty power button, and you will need to contact the hotline at the service of the unit.

Let me know what happens when you try to turn on the unit without the charger?

Hope the problem is solved without hassle. Please keep me in the loop.

  • Applications sometimes take a long time to start on my iMac to 2013

On my other 2 Mac (macbook pro running Mavericks and mini mac running Snow Leopard - both with 8G of RAM) are super fast and responsive. My newish iMac (2013) with 8G seems to take time to log in (sometimes) applications. After I reboot, think is great, after a week or two, things slow down. Especially after that I have wake the computer and try to do something (with the applications that are already running). I keep the reader all the time.

I ran EtreCheck and found a few red elements on insufficient RAM.

    Launch system officers:

I can post the report as a whole if anyone thinks it would help.

I thought that 8G only is not enough. I am running the latest version of El Capitan. I am considering getting Apple to add more memory. The iMac, I replaced was under Snow Leopard and was super fast, also with 8G or RAM.

I had the hard drive replaced a few months (under warranty) because she could not and was the reason for which that my machine was not long like a dog, but now it isn't bad, until it starts to slow down.

One last thing...  We have 3 users on the iMac. All signed at the same time. We do not have something strong, just email, browser, calendar and the application of greater occational.

    Thanks in advance.

Do not post the full text of the report. A 8 GB computer shouldn't have killed during the launch of the process. Before running the program, restart the computer so that we can see what it looks like charges.

  • With 32-bit and a clean install also takes a long time to start and a very long time to stop.

I use 32-bit and a clean install also, it takes a very long time to start (and sometimes it will not) and a verlong tike to close

    Hello Duane,

For more clarity and response, I divided it in its own thread.

After your post, it seems that Vista 32 bit takes a long time to start and a very long time to stop.

What are the specifications of material of this machine?

We might want to try a clean boot and see how that affects the issue.

More details about this is located at the following link:

  • HP Pavilion dv2700 laptop displays the message "system CMOS checksum failed" every time you start

    Hi @all,

I have a HP Pavilion dv2700 - kh933ea laptop computer #abv (it is a HP Pavilion dv2799ee Special Edition Entertainment Notebook PC to be exact) that displays the message "system CMOS checksum failed. Press F1 to continue"every time you start the system. My OS is Windows 7 / 32 bit.

Then I updated my BIOS to version 2.4e, 01-dec-08 Phoenix (the SMBIOS version remained the same before 2.4), but the issue is not resolved. I have attached a screenshot for processor and BIOS versions.

Can someone guide me on how to solve this problem?

Thank you very much in advance.

I don't see the screenshot of your post attachments. Please repost them.

This error message means that WHAT BIOS is damaged. You will need to have the BIOS flashed in a mobile shop, repair a BIOS or an HP Service Center. Do a search online with Google or Bing repair for a BIOS.  If you keep trying to update the BIOS there will come a time where everything you have a black screen.

An error message appears every time I start my laptop Alienware of window 7, the message reads: "wscript.exe - no disk" there is no disk in the drive. Please insert a disk into \Device\harddisk1\DR1.

I'm a bit confused with this error message, I don't know if there are viruses in my computer, or the reason why this error message whenever I start my computer,

Although I installed file encryption software.

This could be a virus? and how to prevent this error message appear on my computer.

Sounds like malware. Run msconfig.exe, and then selectively uncheck items under the Startup tab until you find the culprit.
