Fable 3 on windows - Coop is a shame / to feel scammed

Hello, I bought the game Fable 3 on PC this week bought without checking online which is kind of stupid, anyway... Bought to play with my wife in coop, as the box says we can play co-op. As the game can also be played online, I thought it would be CO-OP in LAN. The box did not split screen! And then install us the game and the coop divides only screen! Who the * plays with 2 keyboards and 2 mice on the same computer? And to play in LAN, it must indeed connect online with 2 KEYS, buy the game twice. So I feel scammed... I read that the XBOX version allowed lan play. As I don't want to pay another key ($50), I would get my money ($50), the store where I bought it is not take it back. How do I do? Thank you, Kevin

  • Windows Internet Security Protection - is it a scam?

Windows reported I got several virus and had to get an internet protection immediately.  I had a system of anti-virus protection on my computer and ran a scan that said I was protected without a virus, but the program windows shield kept popping up and identify several viruses and would allow me to access the Internet without buying protection.  Once I bought the windows of security protection, a quick scann was carried out and windows allowed my computer run normally. It was a scam, and if not why not I receive an email confirmation of my order and description of my cover?

  • Unable to connect to wireless internet after Windows Vista update on 16/09/10

Since I've updated windows I cannot access my wireless internet connection, however, I am still able to connect via the LAN port.

If I check my ipconfig it says under the "media disconnected" wireless network connection  I tried to get my IP address into my settings because they seem to have disappeared, but I can't always wireless.  I ran all Windows diagnostic tools, but all say that the internet connection is fine (due to it being connected by the LAN port).

I also tried to fix it by other solutions on this forum, that is

    • Open Set Up a Wireless Router or Access Point by clicking theStart button, clickingControl Panel, clicking network and Internet, and then clicknetwork and sharing Center. In the left pane, clickset up a connection or network, and thenset up an access point or wireless router.

The result of the message is ' Windows has detected network hardware, but it cannot automatically configure "and when I try to manually configure the server requires a user name and password which I don't have.

Please could shed you some light on this case for me?

    Thank you very much

    Hello

I tried everything above without result.  However, I managed to reinstall my wireless router software after having repaired my DVD driver software.  I restarted my computer and Wireless does not work.  Reinstalled the software new and restarted the computer, and then after a short period of time the computer connected to wireless internet!  Not know not why the remedy has been delayed or why it did not work after the first attempt, but it connects wireless now - what I know is that this problem occurred after an update of Windows, it's a shame that Microsoft failed to address this problem as it was their update it as many other people have also claimed.

A big thank you to everyone who offered advice.

  • faster than El Capitan Windows 10

    Hello

    I have a 13 "mid-2013 Macbook Air 128SSD / 8 GB/Intel i5.

I tried the two El Capitan and Windows (via Bootcamp) 10 and Windows runs faster than Mac for a reason any.

Launching applications faster and overall, it feels snappier and more responsive.

How is it possible that Windows can run faster on my Macbook as the own Apple operating system?

Systems running different programs using different device drivers. 'Feel' is a very subjective measure. My windows running in Boot Camp "feels" faster than Windows running on a Windows PC. My El Capitan "feels" faster than my Windows running in Boot Camp 10.

In addition to their money get on your part to do anything of any value, if you let them into your computer, who knows what damage they did here or what confidential information they stole.

So if you have done so, I highly recommend that you do both of the following immediately:

1 do a clean reinstall of Windows.

    2. change all of your passwords, especially banks or other
    financial sites.

    Hello

    Its a SCAM!

Avoid scams to phone for tech support

In the United States, you can contact the FBI, Attorney general, the police authorities and consumer
Watch groups. Arm yourself with knowledge.

No, Microsoft wouldn't you not solicited. Or they would know if errors exist on your
computer. So that's the fraud or scams to get your money or worse to steal your identity.

I got a call this morning from someone I did not understand, but I thought he said something about a virus and windows. I told her to get another person to contact me that I understand better, so far no reminder. So I'm wundering if this call indeed came from Windows?

It is a common scam. Do not give them information, do not give them access to your PC and do not go to all the websites that they suggest. One moment. See:

    http://www.microsoft.com/en-gb/security/online-privacy/msname.aspx .

Microsoft does ever not requested for calls.
