  Yes, sometimes all names from the Contact card.  And it's a more boring trap, because I don't know the full name of a person of the tag below the album of people. I need to find the person in the contacts and compare the photo on the card for the photo in the Photos. My current work around is not to use any name of my Contact cards to avoid the abbriviation of names. I add a prefix to all of the names of people. Instead of "John Doe" I use ' Italy: John Doe ", if I met John while on holiday in Italy. This allows to group people by the events, I met them.

  I had to reinstall my Mac (clean). I supported my library of Photos (with iCloud than on library) on an external drive. Then all deleted and reinstalled my system. After put my photo library and turning on iCloud, all my 4000 pictures started downloading (and duplication) iCloud even they were already there. I had to stop this, delete my backup of the library of Photos and all photos were downloaded from iCloud. It would have been nice if I lose all my face tags (I spent a lot of time with) so how can I do the next time that when reinstalling my Mac?

  It do exactly what you did the first time. Make a backup of your library of photos on an external drive and copy this library back to restore.

  The pictures will download all the photos again and compare with iCloud photo library. It will not recognize the library restored as the same library it used before, but she uses a detection duplicates to prevent adding duplicates. It will take as long as the initial download.

  People you tags assigned before using facial recognition are associated to the whole photo, while tags that you have assigned with facial recognition are associated with rectangles inside photos that surround such recognizable faces.  So if you want the faces in your older photos to be identified with a rectangle and this rectangle containing the tag, you will need to run the recognizer on them.

  I have a question about behavior if PHOTOS during import.  I'm about to change my preferences and I want to know what to expect.

  1. my current photo library was created with NO use icloud photo library.  I'm going to leave it off.

  3 I intend now to my library a new large SSD I'm about to install.  I would really now to copy every 100 GB or so images in my library to enjoy the speed and get a free backup copy in the process.  However, I really want to have to do all that FACES tuning again.

  So, now the question.  If I go to PHOTOS prefs and turn on the "copy items to the box library", this will apply to the new photos imported or it will go to seek out those for whom a link only currently.  I guess it won't, but I hope.  If I reimport them once again, I'm afraid I'll get the pics in double... one for the link that is there now and another for the import copy.

  If I have to, I'll start all over again, but here, I hope it is an easier way!  Suggestions, anyone?

  Turn on the "copy items to the Library check box' apply only for new photos that you import.

  Copy the old originals in your select Photo library in Photos and use the command "file > consolidate."

  Who will copy the originals in your photo library and transform the photos selected in managed photos.  All changes and faces tags will continue to work. And the original files will be stored safely in your library.

  To quickly select all the photos that have to consolidate use smart albums.

  f: Word for Word is normally used to place html within the faces page tags, in my previous answer, I asked to use the ADF faces tags as your first post contains the referring html input tag EL expression, but if you want to use the applet then you must place the applet code in f: verbatim tag only , I guess that there is no other solution ADF don't face tag for applets.

  As described in the previous answer here, you can use EL expressions within html with the symbol tags $.

  in the adobe site, there's a tutorial on this new feature. based on this video, in the keywords, you should see an additional tab look for people tags. I have not yet tested who.
