  Facebook Chat is not available in beta version of Firefox, however it works very well in Internet Explore. I ask please discuss and let us know if this is related to Facebook or Mozilla, the chat option works fine on Internet Explore. As Mozilla is much better than IE, I ask you to consider this so that I can continue to use Mozilla.   You should try to clear the cache-
  Tools > Options > advanced > network > storage (Cache) offline: 'clear now '.

  Also try to delete unwanted cookies-
  Tools > Options > privacy > Cookies: "show the Cookies".

  Have you tried running on issues to troubleshoot Firefox in Safe Mode to see what plugin/addon etc which may cause?

• Cannot connect to Facebook Chat in the Messages of El Capitan

  In the last week or two, I couldn't access my account FaceBooik to communicate through Messages to El Capitan.

  I have the password, enter the password, and it continues to be displayed. The settings are correct (they have not changed) and the password is correct.

  Other accounts are fine.

  I can use other chat apps that support Facebook without problem.

  Keychain problem? It seems more to be there no first aid function.

  Some time ago I created a Facebook chat jabber account, so that my FB cats would be present in the Messages. It has been working well, but I don't use FB chat much.

  To try something different, I went into system/deleted accounts Preferences both of the FB chat Jabber accounts and there created a new. This account appears in the Messages as it should, but it also fails to connect with the FB password. All I get is: ' Messages cannot connect to @chat.facebook.com because your ID or your password is incorrect. "

  And now I'm totally stumped. Any suggestions?

  If Facebook does not recognize your webcam right away when you want to share a video, click on the eye for cameras new button.

  Your Adobe Flash Player settings will be displayed.
  On the tab, make sure you only select the right type of camera you use with your computer.

  On the tab, you may also need to 'allow' Facebook to access your camera and microphone.

  If your settings does not work, try to uninstall Adobe Flash Player on your computer and download the latest Flash Player.
