  We have reproduced this issue and the respective team was informed. Sorry for this BUG can be reproduced on 10.11.2 so but only with 9.1 update Premiere Pro.

  Now you can use the software only mode or OpenCl in the project settings > Renderer. Also, you can restore the version 9.0.2 update.

  I can't get a simple fade to work, despite the research and trial and error.

  My procedure (FYI):

  -J' I create a layer just for this bland object.

  -J' I drag an image .gif from the library onto the stage in this layer.

  -I convert it to a symbol (I tried the button symbols & film.  Graphic Symbol is not an option because I need to reposition the object programmatically).

  -J' I select the first image in this layer, select the symbol and set its Alpha to 0%.

  -J' I select another image in this layer and insert a keyframe.

  -J' I reselect the symbol and set its Alpha to 100%.

  -J' I select the range of frames from beginning to end keyframe, I right click on this beach and I insert a classic Tween (I tried both motion tween).

  Bottom Line:

  When I try to control-> Play, the fade works perfectly.

  When I try to control-> test movie, the erasure never happens and the symbol remains invisible.

  Why the fade would work to play , but not in test movie?

  What stage is missing/wrong to get this fade to work?

  When you reference the Flash card, I assume you mean the utility toshiba Flash Cards. in this case, I would say that you reinstall (i.e., uninstall and then reinstall) relevant Toshiba Value added Package for your laptop model. to locate the relevant Toshiba VAP, visit your regional toshiba driver. This should solve your problem, such as cards Flash requires the installation of files for your Fn + F keys (for example by pressing Fn + F6/F7 fades and lights up the screen), so I think that Vista is looking for solutions as the Fn keys could be involved. After installation, you can disable the startup Flash cards when the computer starts up, but do not uninstall the toshiba VAP.

  You can do this by using a widget of composition: remove all but one trigger, make small and 'invisible' and place it in a plkace hidden on your page.

  I have an action I use successfully for several years, notably with the PS CS5 64-bit.  Part of the action is an emphasis, then using Fade Unsharp Mask it changes brightness mode.

  Now I suddenly find that it does not work on some images... telling me that the 'Fade' command is not available.  Even if I do these commands manually (without the action and do anything else) bland is gray out and not available.

  Everything still works fine with my 'normal' images, which are files TIFF 16 bits converted from RAW with Capture One Pro.  These files are approximately 125 mb in size.  The image where I first noticed this problem was a multi point recorded in a PSB (almost 600 mb in size) file.  Then, I created a file PSD of this image (155 MB) and BLAND was still not available.

  And no, I do not have ANYTHING between performing the Unsharp mask and try to find BLAND in the Edit menu.

  I tested this during more than an hour now (on two different computer facilities, as well running CS5 64-bit and Win7 64 bit) and other than the size of the file, I don't see anything else.

  The file size might have nothing to do with this?  That's the only difference I see between an image work and not another job.

  (I am aware that I could use the layers palette to change the blending mode to luminosity, but it won't solve my problem).

  Any ideas?

  You can not Fade bound a command on a layer that has a layer mask. You have to UN-link the layer mask to the layer pixel before fade is enabled...
