• Upgrading Pro 6 Prem Prem elements... which?

  Hello everyone.

  I worked on Prem Pro (version 6.0 or 6.5) for years but I just updated to Windows 7 and I know that this software is too old to run it on Windows 7. I was wondering if anyone knows what is the software Prem elements nearest you to Prem pro 6.0 / 6.5 which works on Windows 7?

  You don't have the "full" version of which has been completely rewritten in Pr 7.0/PrPro 1.0. There is still some confusion about what has been Pr 70/PrPro 1.0. It seems that the program was released as Pr (not PRO) took the new name of Premiere Pro 7.0 for OEM and commercial product facilities and was 1.0. To compound these issues, there is a small version of a program called Premiere Pro 7.0, and I saw pictures of the box and CD case with the same name, although hardly anyone at Adobe knows all the details of this. I guess that Pr 7.0, 7.0 PrPro PrPro 1.0, are all pretty much the same program and was a total rewrite of the code Pr 6.5.

  Now, PrElements is increased from 4.0 to 7.0 PrE pre, with no 5.0 or 6.0, to get the version numbers to match the program often complementary, Photoshop Elements, who had jumped in front of the Meadow by a couple of numbers.

  Your question, 3.0 PrE long gone was probably the closest in appearance to your Pr 6.0. With pre 4.0, the interface introduced a radical change for a "cleaner and more elegant" look, but one I found difficult to grasp, as I was used to the PrPro, up to 2.0. After several years, I still have to hunt around pre to find things that come so naturally to PrPro.

  You'll watch pre 9.0, as has been said, and it has more power compared to previous versions. However, the interface is much easier, than Pr/PrPro. This will take some getting used to. In addition, functions, such as export, have been displaced and some of the words/names have changed. Although one might be an "old hand" at work NLES from Adobe, I strongly suggest picking up a copy of the book of Steve Grisetti on PrE 9. Who's going to flatten the curve greatly. Most of the General operations remained, but now look quite different, and some of the familiar operations have been displaced and often renowned.

  If you love Pr 6.0, do not plan to do HD work, especially with material from a DSLR or AVCHD, then John T. has a suggestion which should get Pr 6.0 runs on your new operating system. Two other options are to upgrade to CS5 PrPro (think it is US$ 299 from the Adobe Store, Pr 6.0 upgrade), or PrE 9, the current version. Between you and me, I would opt for CS5, even at more than 2 x the price, but that's just me, I really like the interface and the additional power of PrPro.

• Prem elements 14 can't the .DV 10 Windows codec?

  I have a. PREL file created 14 elements Prem under Windows 7 x 64 professional who has a source type .DV NTSC standard media. Edition of this project with PREL14 works correctly under Windows 7.

  When I try to open the same. PREL on Windows 10 x 64, I get a message from codec not supported.

  A test, I tried to create a new project of .DV NTSC; PREL 14 esteem clearly that it supports .DV - it's an options available in the project settings when you create a new project - however, the list of supported formats includes not .DV and I can't get 14 PREL use .DV NTSC on Windows 10.

  Has anyone experience this problem and how to solve?

  I still think that you should be able to change this sequence. It seems to be plain vanilla miniDV footage.

• Import of projects 11 Prem elements

  We have about a dozen projects Prem 11 elements that we want to use with PP CC.

  The PP help file said to open the project 11 PE pp.

  Which brought up a box that asked if we wanted to continue with the conversion, we did.

  Who did create a new project, PP.  However, the new project seems to be totally blank. None of the source PE11 files used are presented in the new PP project, there is no sequence indicated or anything on the time line.

  Have we done something wrong? Or was our expectations too high?

• Blank DVD template in Prem Elements for Mac

  Years when I was a Windows user, I LOVED using Premiere Elements to import and edit home videos. Editing, chapter etc. was so easy and I I was really happy with the final product. One thing I really liked was when I created menus for DVD etc, I had access to a model of DVDs so I can use my own background image etc. Never, I cared much for the 'themes '. Is it possible with the new elements of prem for MAC have a blank DVD template?

  One of the generic models includes only a few text links only on main menu page - the other includes up to 18 only text links on the main menu page (as well as 18 more on the scene menu page).

  The only selection that is grayed out in Photomerge is Panorama.  I'll try to put together two images of a page of the book of Records.

  Make sure that your Expert mode, then Panorama shouldn't be greyed out.

  

• I just installed prem elements 9 on a new PC and it doesn't open any old project

  When I try to open previous or any video file it comes up with the error message that the file format is not supported or missing of the codex. the same file open OK on the old PC. This occurs for all video formats probems.

  Without additional information, I can't say with certainty, but:

  (1) you must ensure that you have the latest version of Quicktime installed in order to work with your Canon MTS files. Then, start a new project and configure for AVCHD video Full. When you do the program will automatically install the necessary codecs.

  (2) regarding the AVI file, it could be a MJPEG AVI, which is a questionable file to edit in Premiere Elements. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. Install the software provided with the camera can help.

  Oddly enough, JSF isChanged() method of a component always reports by default, even if the content component changes. According to an article by Lucas Jellema, http://technology.amis.nl/blog/4223/adf-11g-use-the-changed-indicator-to-make-ajax-originated-value-refresh-explicit-to-the-user, the Changed value field must be updated manually, which seems odd to me. The article goes on to describe how to set these values programmatically.

  A close example of this is on the page of the ADF not yet documented by Steve blog. Example #46: http://smuenchadf.samplecode.oracle.com/samples/ExposingRowStateOnClient.zip. This example shows how do I know if a line is dirty, but in my view, that it points in the right direction. The problem is that I'm not sure how to convert this code example showing a dirty row to show a dirty attribute. My biggest problem is that the QueryCollection.getViewObjectImpl the .notifyRowUpdated () method signature has changed. the code example does compile anymore; and I do not know how to follow the Bug # 4547474.

  I guess that isDirty returns true if the attribute definition has changed, not the value. It's on AttributeDef, so it cannot logically be used for changing values. Use isAttributeChanged for your purpose

  When I export a file of Lightroom 4 to 11 items in Photoshop to change. I make my changes, then click on "Save". For some reason it opens the "Save-as" dialog box. How can I fix so that I have only to click on 'Save' and let the file back to Lightroom?

  The choice of MP4 or AVCHD, start with the choice of AVCHD. These two choices to use AVCHD (MP4 AVC/h.264) video compression. But they use wrapper formats as indicated by the file extension. I think that your AVCHD with mts and MP4 file with extension of .mp4 file extension. Each uses a different audio format. Choice of AVCHD has Dolby digital stereo and MP4 uses stereo AAC.

  If you save p50 camera, which seems to come from a resolution of 1920 x 1080. Use that instead of 1440 x 1080. More on that later.

  Specifications (LEGRIA HF R56, R57/R506)

  If you are recording 1920 x 1080 p 50, then you manually or automatically the project must define the project preset for

  PAL

  AVCHD

  AVCHD 1080 p 50
