Transfer of 11 elements Prem AVCHD movies

Hello

The manual for the Canon Legria HF R57 camcorder says "use THE transfer (Pixela) utility to save your AVCHD movies on your Windows computer", but I can't use Prem elements 11 to do this?

The camcorder offers a choice to work with MP4 or AVCHD - I don't know too much what the difference is.

With AVCHD, according to the manual, the camcorder has four parameters of video quality (50 p, MXP high quality, FXP Standard (Full HD) or long-term.) If I choose 50 p (for quality), should I get 11 Prem elements to "seize" the film to PAL | AVCHD Lite 720 p 50 when it comes to determine the parameters at the beginning of a project (file |) New) as in the picture below:

Thank you!

The choice of MP4 or AVCHD, start with the choice of AVCHD. These two choices to use AVCHD (MP4 AVC/h.264) video compression. But they use wrapper formats as indicated by the file extension. I think that your AVCHD with mts and MP4 file with extension of .mp4 file extension. Each uses a different audio format. Choice of AVCHD has Dolby digital stereo and MP4 uses stereo AAC.

If you save p50 camera, which seems to come from a resolution of 1920 x 1080. Use that instead of 1440 x 1080. More on that later.

Specifications (LEGRIA HF R56, R57/R506)

If you are recording 1920 x 1080 p 50, then you manually or automatically the project must define the project preset for

PAL

AVCHD

AVCHD 1080 p 50

For the first test, import your video in first 11 elements and leave 11 set the predefined project automatically based on its analysis of the properties of your video when it's the first file slipped to your new project timeline. Check Edit Menu/project settings/general to verify what he has laid down. Is it has not defined the project preset to match the properties of your 1920 x 1080 p 50, then we'll move setting the predefined project manually and properly before importing the p50 in the project.

For any question or need more information, feel free to ask.

Thank you.

Thanks for the reply to my comments to complete Responses to your subject.

    Factors in your planning...

First elements 13/13.1 does not support Windows XP, Windows Vista or Mac OS 10.7.

First items 10, 11 or 12/12.1 on a Windows computer is 64-bit application when it is run on Windows 7, 8 or 8.1 64-bit computer. Otherwise, it's a 32-bit application. This has implications on important it resources, particularly for your biggest projects in Premiere Elements.

Video mobile phone registered with a variable rate is a consideration for any version of Premiere Elements. If your cell phone video shows with audio out of sync and you use the hand brake to correct this condition, you should get good quality of the handbrake H.264.mp4 (just make sure that the export rate is comparable to that of the original in addition to changing the frequency of images to a number (use same as source) and selecting constant for this frame rate).

If any clarification on the above, do not hesitate to ask.

    Thank you.

  • First elements - rendering AVCHD

I tested a mix of stills and an AVCHD movie.  When rendering - program 'stuck' at 89.99% which I think is the result of the AVCHD movie.  Someone had it happen to them?  If so, cancel you rendering or perhaps convert the file in another format.  Looking for solutions and ideas.  Tony

As I mentioned in the post above, if you finally will export to standard definition then the best format to work with PE7 is DV - AVI. So convert it to DV - AVI and then work in a widescreen standard definition project.

  • Transfer of Photoshop Elements?

I'm not sure of the exact date, but one year or perhaps two years ago, I bought a Wacom Bamboo tablet that came with a code of Photoshop Elements 9 in an Apple store. I'm a big fan of Apple and I own a Mac desktop computer, so I installed Photoshop on this computer. I recently got a MacBook Pro, and I wanted to transfer the Photoshop from one computer to the other. I've looked everywhere but I can't find the code (I think it was thrown) and so I don't think that I can reintroduce. Is it possible that I could get out of this computer and photoshop? I already have the Tablet reinstalled on here I just need help with PSE9.

Thank you very much! ~ Maggie

If you have saved PES (I assume that, by "Apple Store", you mean a physical store and not the mac app store), you can retrieve your serial number by going to adobe.com and looking for my Adobe (last time I looked, he was in the top right of the search box, but it moves). Work through the links here to find your serial number. You will need your original installation media.

If it is the version of the app store, you come to launch the app store on the new computer and access the procurement section and you can download it on the new computer.

  • Unable to log and transfer of media files ProRes 422 MOV in FCP 7.

The log window and transfer in final cut PRO 7 said my multimedia files to Apple ProRes 422 (in a .mov container) are "unsupported" and I'm unable to import. This is after I've used MPEG Streamclip to convert original h264 video files to Apple ProRes 422. I shot with a Canon 5 d Mark II. I missed something?

Do not use TYou log and transfer. It's for the camera Med.

  • Playing AVCHD movies

I have a Sony camera and want to play my movies on my Mac AVCHD without having to download the 3rd party software - is it possible?

You can double-click the AVCHD package and it will open in Quicktime Player.

If you extracted the MTS files out of the AVCHD folder, I don't think there is anything natively on Mac that plays them independently of all the information in the AVCHD folder.

They have to import pictures and iMovie, also. Same caveat applies about free MTS files.

  • Move the catalog in photoshop elements 10 should move everything, including your photos?

I would like to move all my photos in my laptop catalog out of my PC on a hard drive. Move catalog it.  I can't find anything about it.  It also moves the catalog of her self.  Want to make a back up but do not.

    velera wrote:

While exactly made the choice to "move the catalog?

What I explained: the catalogue (which is a folder) is moved to the desired location. Move catalog does not change its content, including the location of the image files referenced.

Move a catalog in the default location on an external USB drive to store all of your media files is a comon task. In this way, you can share your catalog and library between multiple computers with the same version of elements. Replacing the external drive to the internal one after a full backup and a restore disk external hard is also useful to make your catalogs (if you have several of them) are displayed in the same place in the Catalog Manager, having rather navigate to the location of "custom".

You don't move the Adobe applications, install you them, so get the installation files and install them as you did initially.

You will also need your serial number to activate the new installation.  If you have not kept a record of it, you might be able to find it in your account Adobe online if you have registered the program.

You are allowed to have two facilities enabled so if you wish you can keep the software working on the old machine.  If you wish to remove or disable it, you must disable (help-> Deactivate).

N ° see my first answer.

The purpose of providing an OEM version delivered of the software is to allow you to decide whether this software has any value to you.  If it does and you want to use the software on another computer, you buy the software as usual.

  • export or coding a prem cs5 .mov

I've read about possible problems of quicktime in prem cs5 with only run on 64-bit windows.

It will always export or encode a .mov ok file or there at - it problems with this format.

I'm about to spend a small fortune on the new kit of camera panasonic P2 Prem cs5 and the new computer. I don't see any problem, but it does not hurt to get all opinions.

    Thanks in advance

    Andy

    Andy,

I don't have appropriate images to test, but put together a quick generated test for you to check. This is based on your needs posted.

Note that the Pavilion of the DAR will properly kitted (often a problem with QuickTime) and you do not have too many options of audio encoding first. If it's a big problem, you could always export an uncompressed file first and open, and the export of delivery required (my preference) MPEG Streamclipor QuickTime Pro. I usually use MPEG Streamclip if I need to deliver QuickTime MOV H.264 for broadcast.

    Hope that helps.
