  Thanks to a recovery software, I saved the file "HDD RECOVERY" an all other files that were in another folder in C: D: (the corrupted partition)

  To burn the recovery disk, you have the Toshiba recovery disc creator.
  This program is preinstalled on your laptop from the image of Toshiba.

  But that's why the folder HDDRecovery must be on the D drive as far as I know. Otherwise it s is not possible.

  If you create a partition of D again. Maybe it works.

• How manually to create the Satellite A300 recovery DVDs

  Hi all!!

  My cousin interrupted at first startup of Vista, resulting in a constant error while switching on the laptop (say a word about the disconnection of a camera or a media player). I decided to perform a clean install of Vista Home pre and everything was ok.

  I have a return to the top of the HDD Recovery folder and tried to burn a DVD using as prototype of my recovery dvd (A200-1J0) who proved not bootable.
  So, I would like to know if it is possible to make a recovery dvd manually (which means that without the wizard mentioned in the user manuals) for laptop Toshiba A300-17N.

  Something like this is not possible. If the folder HDDRecovery still exists on the second partition, please start your laptop and press F8 for advanced startup option. Use first option on top for the repair of computers. Follow the menu und opt for Toshiba HDD recovery.

  Reinstall the OS and create recovery DVDs using Toshiba tool preinstalled.

  Trying to fix a mates laptop, had a lot of questions then tried to turn it back to out of box state, but when loading the disk on the 2nd drive is unable to read, and I get an error. I tried bury min speed but still not good.

  I guess the Win 7 update has changed the Boot Manager and this is why this option does not appear in any case.
  The Toshiba Recovery disk that you have created can help you restore the laptop back to factory settings. But this means that the HARD drive all over would be formatted again and you will lose the Win 7 again.

  To start the installation of the recovery disk, you must start from this drive and will have to follow the news on the screen.

  I had the same problem a few weeks ago and I could solve the problem by updating the driver for the webcam on the Toshiba site.

  So, download the latest version, delete the old and reboot the laptop. Then install the new version.

  I doubt that you were looking for updates for the Toshiba shows a driver for webcam.

• Total crash after drive HARD on Satellite A300 recovery

  Well at first, my computer has started making weird as I was not able to use firefox or msn because it said that there is no connection. But he has shown there is a link and my download manager was still in download.   Finally I managed to install vista on a drive that that I still had my computer from a different manufacture.

  But now it won't install windows updates (it downloads but gives an error) and many of the drivers are missing wich when I install them will not work.

  Is it possible, this can be corrected? I always recovering files on my d partition, but it will not repair your thing of the computer that you get when you press f8.

  It's strange because normally everything should work after using the recovery disk and all drivers must be installed.

  In your case, I'll try to reinstall Windows with the recovery disk again. You should maybe before the format of the HARD drive with the Microsoft installation disk, then using the recovery disk.
  Also, did you create the recovery disk? You can do this with the recovery disk creator and it s preinstalled on your computer.

  I just brought a laptop Toshiba Satellite A300-1j1, and at the same time got the upgrade to Vista Ultimate disk at the same time.

  Straight out I went to a sweet upgrade to Ultimate, which failed, and restored in Premuim laptop.

  Stupidly I immediately then a hard install to ultimate who "worked", but of course the drivers to run the laptop has not been installed, I decided to go back to factory settings and try to get Ultimate again once.

  However to use F8 at startup is does not give me the option to restore, and since, I've learned that I should do a set of recovery discs, which I did not.

  Installation, the data is still on the disk 'E', so is anyway I can always use it to make these discs or what should I do?

  I just installed ultraiso program, when I opened the toshiba recovery disc creator this message appears

  Hi Dr. Ahmed,

  If your webcam doesn't work after installing Windows Toshiba Recovery disk I think that it s related to the defective material. I mean you have ever tried to update the BIOS and the driver of the webcam but that s all you can do.

  So I would recommend contacting your local authorized service provider people. I think they can help you can exchange the webcam if it of necessary.

  I created 2 discs recovey such as required in the "Toshiba disc Creator Recovey". I created the premiera (disc 1) 2 weeks ago and the second (disk 2) today because I didn't have 2 DVD in hand.

  My first question is t - it is important if I left a period of time between the two creations that will affect the recovery if I ever need to use them?

  My second question is to make two just recovery disks recover the operating system for example: Windows Vista or they recover what was recorded on the Local C drive, at the time they were created?

  My last question is if that happens my dies of an operating system, I make just to turn on the laptop and put it in recovey disc 1, then 2, (if this isn't how someone can you please tell me how to?)

  When you use Toshiba Recovery Disc Creator you can see there the option for the use of different blank media. On some laptops, that image can be burned to a blank DVD and on some models, you need two of them. It depends on the recovery image.

  For my Satellite A300, I used both DVD-R virgins. I created images of recovery for several laptops, and we don't have me break creation of recovery and continue later. When the first media is finished you need to place the second piece of blank media and burning process will continue automatically. As far as I know that there is NO option for creating discs 2 only. Please be careful about this.

  I recommend you to get two empty DVD - R blank and create DVDs from recovery at the same time.

  When you use recovery DVD is removed from the entire HARD disk, not only partition C. This means that all the data saved on the HARD disk will be deleted. If your laptop has two HARD drives the recovery procedure will affect only HDD1. Be careful about this, and before you begin the recovery procedure back up all your important data.

  Follow a definitive answer to the final question ;) when you want to install the OS by using recovery media:
  Power your laptop running and press F12 to display the boot options
  Put the 1 recovery media in the optical disc drive
  In boot options, choose the CD/DVD drive and press ENTER
  Follow the menu on the screen
