  Hi, I am new to timesten and databases in general, and I'm testing the database timesten to test.

  A data store active TimesTen consists of a single shared memory segment allocated from o/s. The size of this segment is PermSize + TempSize + LogBufMB + ~ 20 MB. This allowance will not allow the o/s unless the 'package' kernel parameter has a value greater than the requested size of the segment. According to the Guide of Installation TimesTen, you set various parameters of the kernel on the appropriate values (memory shared, semaphores, etc.).

  There is another method that can help you get things going. 'Orapki' is a utility that is shipped along with the installation of the Oracle Application (path on windows $ORACLE_HOME/bin/orapki.bat) server and you can use the same to generate the wallet and certificate for your test object.

  Here are the steps, first of all, let's create an empty wallet and the second will add a self certificate signed to it.

  1 C:\Oracle10g\midtier2\bin\orapki.bat wallet create - portfolio. Eu1 - pwd
  2. Add C:\Oracle10g\midtier2\bin\orapki.bat wallet - wallet. -1024 key size - dn "CN = sample" - self_signed - pwd eu1 - validity 365

  Note: For some reason the private keys attached to the wallet created using keytool do not appear, or may not be localizable.

  Records as VirtualMachines and others are objects managed - they live on the vCenter and what you work with is a proxy. You can instantiate the VcFolder object in the script, but will not create an object in the vCenter. The right way is to get a proxy to an instance of file and call the method "createFolder". By default, you have a rootFolder object named "Data centers" and you create your hierarchy below.

  TNS name is correct, tnsname.ora is correct, the user is correct.

  We had the same problem with > = 20 conferences on the blade, and I can tell you that we had the same thing

  Found the problem and it's nothing to do with users, groups, and permissions of files (tmp or anything else besides!)

  The problem was that I had not put the sysconfig according the upgrade installation Notes & R12.2 for Linux x 86-64 ( note 1330701.1 )

  I guess the bum steer, which gives install them quick - is indicating that the question is a problem of permission of the files in / tmp, when it is not really!

  The only thing I can think is that it uses sysconfig content to add the name of host or domain, the file name, he tries to put in / tmp.

  It seems you are trying to instantiate a new instance of the vCACCAFEEntitiesFinder class using code similar to the following:

  var host = ...; // vCAC host object
  var ef = new vCACCAFEEntitiesFinder(); // instantiate vCACCAFEEntitiesFinder
  var groups = ef.getBusinessGroups(host); // retrieve business groups
  

  You can't do that; vCACCAFEEntitiesFinder is a singleton script and cannot be instantiated. You must use the name directly as in the following code:

  Well, I have deployed VIO with NSX. I created 2 virtual machines (instances) with 2 internal networks. I created router, plugged on both networks. Tried to ping of vm1 (int_net1) to the virtual machine 2 (int_net2) through router - everything works fine.

  So, the next step was to provide access to Internet of the virtual machines. I try to create the shape of external network Admin-> Control Panel-> network-> network create system:

  Name: extnet1

  Project: MyProject

  Type of network provider: dish (deployment master I chose NSX environment and VLANs separated to outside networks)

  Admin State: checked

  External network: checked

  When I press the button "Create network" an error has occurred: ""Error: failed to create the extnet1 network '. " How can I create external network?
