Failed to load/Edit Lightroom images edited in Photoshop CC 2015

I use a new i5 16GB laptop running Windows at day 10. I have the latest Lightroom and Photoshop updates installed but am unable to load (from Lightroom) a copy with Lightroom adjustments in Photoshop. All that happens when I click on the image correctly in Lightroom is that Photoshop opens, but that's all. The image won't load. Have checked the preferences and I'm sure everything is properly configured. Would appreciate suggestions as to how I can solve this problem. Thank you very much.

What is the exact version of PS that you have installed. Please don't say "later". We need to know the exact version.

I suggest you uninstall PS, then reinstall. something is wrong with the current installation.

    Hello world

The problem I have is, after loading the WIM image from our WDS server, it stops deployment with the following error message: the following network device had not installed a PCI VEN_8086 & DEV_1570 & SUBSYS_223317AA & REV_21 driver

  • Large black and white squares when editing in Photoshop CC 2015

I have seen and reviewed the thread with a similar problem here: large squares white or black in my pic on screen

However, I have no plugins installed on my google Nik, both OS X 10.10 and Windows 10 present the same problem. (CC 2015). Again a new install of Windows 10 has this issue.

Editing photos in ACR is no problem.

The problem appears only after 5-10 minutes of editing in PS.

I tried to update the graphics drivers and change the basic parameters of advanced drawing and I have not seen any change.

    Hi msalisbu,

Sorry for the question with Photoshop.

Under preferences performance uncheck use graphics card processor

Restart PS, and then check if the problem is resolved.

  • Photoshop CC 2015 crashes when converting images of dynamic object

Hello world! So, I recently learned Photoshop and I have a Tumblr blog, and I am try it for fixtures and gifs. I can do my gif and finally, to sharpen and play with the color of the image, I have to select all images and convert it to a smart object to make it faster and easier on me. With the 2014 version, it worked amazingly, I managed to make GIFs. But after the update, this does not work so well now. Everything starts fine, everything is fine, until I have to convert my frames to a smart object. I select them all, right click, press on convert to smart object... and it instantly freezes and says that it hangs and stops. Now, I've seen people have problems when starting up, but I have not seen a question quite like this. I didn't think that solutions for commissioning crashing would help me because it starts and goes well until there. I tried three times last night with the same problem. When I today, there was another update. I've updated, in the hope, it would fix this glitch or anything like that, and it didn't. If someone had this problem and found a solution? I really want to buy this software when my trial is in place, but at this point, if she's going to behave this way, sort of. I would add also a journal of events, as they are all the same (and I hope I add the right thing because I discovered only last night how to access the event logs of my).

  • After "Edit in photoshop", how to recover the image in lightroom?

In LR, you can right click on an image and say "Edition in" then "Edit in Photoshop CC 14".

It then asks if you want to change the original or a copy.  I say copy.  LR creates a virtual copy and launches the image in Photoshop.

When you finish, you press save (or exit), and he asks me to save it under a new file name, which you simply press OK.

Now in LR, no changes have been made to the copy, and your changes in Photoshop are not in LR. I see other people have the same problem.

The fact that PS and LR have no transparent integration, and getting published photos in LR is so difficult, for the past 2 years, I have simply not using it, even though I pay for both.  It of a huge shame that LR and PS have many sophisticated features, but may not even share a file.

I don't expect an answer, as others do not have a solution, but I must breakdown my frustration and I hope that maybe, someday, they will add this feature.

There is no work around for this problem. If you try to manually import the newly modified file, it fails - for example, you go again to the library (which is slow) mode, then you say "import", then you use the file browser to drill down from the back in your directory (very slow) source, then you find the file created by the PS and try to import it , it says "the file could not be read" - LR can not open PS files.  I can, of course, then open PS, open the file, and then save the file as a jpg file, then slow down the whole process of manual import again, but it's simply too long.

    Try a direct download.

You can get Photoshop CC 2015.1.2 here:

  • Edited in Photoshop does not correctly display in Lightroom after recording the images

    Hello

I recvently EU cloud Adobe and upgraded from Lightroom 3 or 4.  Since the upgrade I had problems with Lightroom not correctly display images edited in Photoshop.  Instead of the photoshop image, it creates a new jpeg image and appears in the library.  the PSD is not loaded into the library.

I take a jpeg image of my library and shoosing the change based on Photoshop.  By selecting Edit a copy, I'm tried with the original and edit a copy with lightroom adjustments as well as with the same results.

In Photoshop, I duplicate the base layer, the image upscaling, running some filters, addition of volunteering adjustment layers.

I save the image in Photoshop format in the original folder where the original jpeg was in the Lightroom library.  I record with maximize compatibility on.

When I return to Lightroom, the catalog displays the two files, the original jpeg and a copy identical to it, NOT the new file in photoshop with alterations.  If I go in the folder images occupy in the Finder using the Finder command show two images link to the same original jpeg format.  The modified file to photoshop is there in the folder but does not appear in Lightroom unless I drag and drop it.

I've disabled all the filters and ensured that the sort is sort by name.  The image does not automatically appears in Lightroom after mounting.  Any suggestions?

    Thanks for any help!

PS. I'm not looking for the subject, and there are discussions since 2007 and lightroom 2 but their solution was to start from scratch basically and I have a carefully labeled, starred and labeled catalog of more than 30 000 images and really don't want to do that

Images that are edited in Photoshop will be displayed automatically in Lr only when the image file saved in Photoshop is identical to open LR.

You say you open a jpg of Lr, then edit in PS-among other things-adding a few layers. Layers are not supported in JPG format, so you must either save it as a psd or a copy in jpg.

In both cases, is not the same image as the one opened in Lr file, so it will have to be imported into Lr appears. If flatten you your image after editing in PS and then do a to your JPG - not a - it will be displayed in Lr.

PS: the only exception is when you open a raw image from Lr into PS and you save it to PS in the format of file specified in Lr for external mounting. The saved file is automatically displayed in LR.

  • Why Photoshop plugins not available when I open an image in Lightroom and select "Edit in Photoshop?

Photoshop plugins are no longer available when I bring a picture in Photoshop from Lightroom.  When I work on an image in Lightroom and select "Edit in Photoshop", the image opens in Photoshop, but all Photoshop plugins are not available and, in fact, do not appear in Photoshop under filter at all.  However, when I open a picture directly in Photoshop, all plugins are available.  Why plugins suddenly vanish when putting an image in Photoshop from Lightroom?  I hope someone is able to help me fix this problem.  I am under Lightroom, Photoshop CS6 13.0.6 on OS X 10.10.5 6.3.

I posted this question on the forums for PS and LR because I'm unsure as to who might be more appropriate.  I only experience this problem when making an image in Photoshop from Lightroom.

    Thank you very much.

Can any Mac user tell us - if it is possible to have the same version of a program installed twice?

In the Mac Finder application, Photoshop it shows twice?

Please follow the below article related to edit in question.

    "Edit in Photoshop" missing order

Otherwise, please check that images are not missing from the library. You can move the images in Lightroom. Reference: using Adobe Photoshop Lightroom | Locate missing photos

Perfect.  Simply choose the file from the editor instead of the elements when you configure additional editor.  You can find it in the folder of media files \Applications\Adobe Photoshop Elements 11\Support Adobe Photoshop elements Editor.app

  • 5 Lightroom sometimes fails to load EXIF GPS data from .jpg files

Until I Lightroom, I used geoSetter to add GPS data to my .jpg files. Most of them have loaded up in LR without problem, but for some of them, Lightroom could not import the GPS data. I used to compare GPS data in the loaded files OK and those who have not noticed that some of the problem files do not have exiftool: GPS, GPS Time Stamp, dater GPS map data. I used exiftool to change these in the file, Lightroom still not managed to load GPS data.  Anyone has an idea why Lightroom 5 sometimes fails to load EXIF GPS data from .jpg file

[XMP] GPS Version ID : 2.2.0.0

But the XMP section contains an incomplete set GPS fields. Note that XMP:GPSDateTime specifies a time other than EXIF:GPSTimeStamp.

I don't know which of your programs may have created these XMP values false, incomplete, but they confused LR.  According to the specifications of the Working Group of the metadata, which accepted LR, LR, choose the EXIF GPS values and false XMP values should not confuse it. But LR is preferring the XMP values and then conclude it is not all the GPS coordinates.

You can work around this bug in LR by doing:

ExifTool - xmp: gpsdatetime = - xmp: gpsversionid = file

  • A stand-alone problem with Lightroom 6 passing files to edit in Photoshop CS6 independent

With Lightroom 6 opened in 'Library' mode and display the images in the display of the grid, I select an image and right-click on it and choose the offered menu "Edit in > edit in Photoshop CS6»

I get no options as the original or original with Lightroom alterations etc., he just goes ahead and open Photoshop, but fails to transmit the image and I find myself with an open Photoshop but not picture.

Suggestions as to how could be remedied this problem.

    Thanks, Stephen

Solve the problem by the following steps:

1 launched Photoshop third-party plugins to jump (with SHIFT key during launch)

2A tried to open an image from Lightroom to Photoshop > open very well

    3. copy all the plugins from the location next to the desktop and removed from its current location.

4 put them one by one back to the original location of the office and tried to open the Lightproom image to Photoshop at the same time to find the plugin that was defective.

5 development and coral as the defective one, installed them only in Lightroom and removed from Photohsop

If you still wish to JPGs of Photoshop-

Open preferences / surface-mounted and set the "File Format" in JPG format.

    The procedure is then:

    Select the image in LR

Right click and choose "Edit in"-Photoshop.

When you are done in Photoshop, use 'save' (or simply close the photo, and PS will ask you to "Save")

    * Do NOT use 'Save AS'.

Whenever you use 'Save AS' and change the file format (for eg. open as TIFF, save as jpg or open as RAW and save - AS a different format preferably LR) Lightroom does not know this 'new' file that you create.

As you note - any file will save in the folder, and to see these 'new' files LR you need simply Right click the FOLDER and "synchronize a folder...". "This 'important' the 'new' image in the library.

Mohit suggestion is another way to get the image in LR, keeping it in a file auto-importations, but you will need to set up this folder first as in his music video screen, is not available by default.
