Method 1: Install the latest version of Direct X

DirectX 11 is the latest version that has been published by Microsoft. You can install it on Windows XP:

Method 2: I suggest you to follow the article in the Microsoft Knowledge Base and check if it helps.

Method 3: If the problem persists, please uninstall Google Earth of XP computer and reinstall it.

(a) click the Start button

(b) select 'Settings'

(c) open ""Control Panel " "

(d) open "Add or Remove Programs"

(e) select ' Google Earth ' , and then select Remove

(f) restart the computer.

(g) download and install Google earth on your computer.
