I'm able to succeed in creating a data source library to connect to the Oracle database, however, when I try to create a data source library to connect to a BI server it does not say "Not able to connect to the Service Provisioning" and the following errors appear in the weblogic server log.

No idea where and what the problem is?

  • Power failure sudden to the Oracle DB server (physical Machine)

    Hi all

I stumbled upon a very interesting scenario with oracle DB 10 g.

Scenario: While you data insert/update/delete, power fail.

Comment: DB becomes slower than usual after the reboot.

I can understand if the database crash or corrupt blocks and can not start. But our normal start DB and a slower than normal work. (or 10 times slower). We are trying to generate data after restart of the usual timetable was 15 min and after 1.30hrs incident still not finished. Drop us the user and re-import the data that normally begin work.

Someone at - he had this experience? What can do us than to restore the DB?

Sorry this is my 1st post, and if the issue is not clear.

If you have a large number / volume of transactions at stake at the time of the blackout, the first reboot would be performing a restore of these transactions, even with the OPEN database.  Any attempt to access and modify a block that needs to be restored must wait for the restoration of this block.

In addition, check the log alerts for messages about the crash recovery, the number of blocks to read and the number of blocks of database update for the resumption of the proceeding before the delayed restoration.

  • Short Studio 3.0 cannot connect to the Service Provisioning

    Hello!

After installation short 3.0 on Windows 2008 R2, the only box with Tomcat for the Studio, entering into the JSON string into the studio for Provisioning service, all I get is "Unable to connect to the Service of supply".

    String in JSON format:

    {

    "port": "8881."

    'server': 'localhost '.

    }

I can connect in console Weblogic (localhost:8881 / console) for commissioning without problem and the green box appears with health = ok.

Any ideas on what could be causing the problem?

    Thank you!

    Gordon

It seems you are trying to use unsecured communication (non - SSL) between the Studio and the commissioning Service, but your configuration maybe isn't correct.  See the following: http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E39271_01/studio.300/studio_install/toc.htm#Configuring%20the%20Provisioning%20Service%20for%20non-secure%20%20%20communication.

In particular, ensure that in your plan, the value of the variable transport-guarantee is 'NOTHING' and the value of the protected-url-pattern variable is ' / DISABLED ".  If these settings are not correct, you may experience the problem you are experiencing.  Note that the case is important.

  • No Netflix - Provisioning Server connection failed

Tonight, I'm suddenly unable to connect to any of the streaming services (Netflix, Amazon, etc.) through my Player DVD BDP-S590/BX59. When I checked the status of the network, everything was fine except for the following error: "Provisioning Server Connection Status: failed.

I made no changes to this player. When I check the status, the software is updated. My home network works fine. Can I use the DVD player for a wireless connection to my computer via a Serviio server to play music and video. I can also use the web browser of the DVD player to connect to websites such as the New York Times. The only mistake I can identify is the "Provisioning Server Connection Status: failed.

I contacted Sony support via their online chat and was quickly degenerated to a high-level technician. He doesn't seem to know the status of their provisioning servers; However, he recommended that I completely reset my DVD player.

Is anyone else having these problems tonight? In the past, it seems that the Provisioning Server outages have affected a large number of people.

  • The Apple ID server failure

I can't connect to the App Store or my phone on the backup device. Able to backup on iTunes but the phone can not restore from iTunes. Says that it cannot connect to server Apple ID Impossible to reset the phone. Help, please

    Hello krosa290,

Thank you for using communities Support from Apple!

I understand that you are having difficulty to connect to the App Store and backup your iPhone using iCloud. We know that situations like this can be frustrating, but there are a few troubleshooting steps that I would recommend working through this situation.

To begin the process of diagnosis, I suggest reading over and working through the steps in the following article.

On your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch

If you cannot connect to the iTunes Store on your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch:

    1. Make sure that your date, time, and time zone are correct. Tap Settings > general > Date & time. Time zone can list another city in your time zone.
    2. Make sure your iOS software is up-to-date. Tap Settings > General > software update to check for updates. You can also connect your iOS device to iTunes and click on search the update on the summary page of your device.
    3. Check and verify that you are in range of a Wi - Fi router or base station. If you use the cell service, make sure the cell data are lit settings > cellular. If you are connected to cellular data, large items can not download. You may need to connect to the Wi - Fi to download applications, videos and podcasts.
    4. Make sure you have an active Internet connection. Check your device Manual for Internet connectivity.
    5. Check if other devices, such as laptops, are able to connect to the network of Wi - Fi and Internet access.
    6. Reset the wireless router by turning and then again.

If there is still a problem, learn what to do if your device connects to a Wi-Fi network.

  • WinXP2 husbands freezes in a short time after he got on the computer.

My husband was my old computer, Windows XP-2 is loaded on this subject at this time.  About 4 weeks, an update automatically which sent his computer in a failure cascade drive.  I reformat the hard disk THREE TIMES since that happened. A few minutes of him onto the computer, it freezes and must be extinguished by the surge protector.  I ran all types of diagnostic programs available, I have Mcafee and two spyware. Malware progroms has running 24 hours a day on her.  (we are a home network with DSL). I read all the forums, asked in response, and I chatted online with Tech tries to solve. Basically, nothing IS REALLY WRONG!  I would like to get him a new system with Vista on it for Christmas, then someone can PLEASE help me keep his computer until there?

    Hi djs755ma,

Thanks for posting in the Microsoft answers Community Forums.

Following the suggestions below would be useful to keep your computer working well.

    1. I suggest you to start your computer in safe mode and perform the boot whether if any software is causing this issue.

2 safe mode is a diagnostic mode of windows that starts your computer with the required services necessary to start your computer.

    3. restart your computer and press F8 key continuously when the system starts and before the windows logon screen appears.

    4. you will be prompted with advanced options, select Safe mode to enter.

After that, you perform the clean boot which is a System Configuration utility to determine if a any software causes this problem.

    1. Please read this article which talks about starting clean and how to perform,
    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/310353

Alternatively, you can run the Chkdsk utility that checks for bad sectors on your hard drive and fix them.

    1. open the command prompt, type chkdsk /f /r and plan the check disk for the next reboot.

Please visit the link below for more information about this,
    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/310747

    Hope this information helped you.

  • What is normal for the backup of XP SP3 and the startup type of the removable storage service?

I was getting ready to plan and attempt a clean full backup for tonight.  I have the backups created on several entities, currently backup but have a very stable system at the moment and wanted to try to make a clean backup file.  That day has finally arrived after been forced a corrupted system files hard drive failure "repair" critical and forced me to go back to SP1a (my Windows Genuine valid CD which I highly appreciate) in order to obtain any boot system, including safe mode and console mode.  Repair has presented many incompatibilities at the level of program and system, including the basic WMI and COM of the corruption system.  Three months later... it of time to update my backups and recovery procedures and hope that this does not happen!

In preparation, I decided to refresh my memory on the use of the backup and by browsing the Help and Support Service Center files.  One of the first things I noticed was "storage removable service must be started for the backup works correctly."  Audit and inspection of my existing Services using computer (Local) management, I have observed that after a normal windows startup, the removable storage service is not started with manual startup type.  I use a USB drive connected as my backup media, and it is fully operational as a normally formatted NTFS data disk volume.  I have windows indexing disabled on this volume.  Is the type of service required removable storage of normal manual started?  The backup program will automatically start this service?  I know I've never manually started it myself and backups seem to work well.  Should we change the startup type to automatic?

    -Thanks, Jerry

I would like to leave as a textbook.

The Service will start (if capable) as soon as ntbackup.exe begins.

If you want to see, with your Services window related to the function of RS place and it will not work and the manual.

Click Start, run and enter in the box:

    Ntbackup.exe

Click OK to start the backup and the Restore Wizard.

Go back to your Services window and press F5 to refresh and SR Service should now work.

When you exit the backup and the Restore Wizard, the RS Service stops (it may take a few minutes), and you may need to close the Services applet and reopen it to notice she's moved to manual and not running.

You will see things like present to the event system log viewer:

    Event type: Information
    Event source: Service Control Manager
    Event category: no
    Event ID: 7036
The removable storage service entered the running state.

(this is when you go out the backup and the Restore Wizard and wait a few minutes... then the Service stops itself...)

    Event type: Information
    Event source: Service Control Manager
    Event category: no
    Event ID: 7036
    Description:
The removable storage service entered the stopped state.

It's like aid and assistance...  Most of the people (including the technical support engineers who are hired by Microsoft) say to set the Startup Type to automatic, but you don't have to...  Set it to manual and it will start fine when he needs start (if he can).

There is no need for these Services (and many other Services in XP) as starting at each restart and run all day without doing anything.

Here is a good list that will help you understand your XP Services:

There may be some problems that repair tools are not picking up. It may be preferable to a repair facility. This can help with any corruption of the registry, which could happen by the deletion of these programs. http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/917964

Keep in mind when running all that modifies the system it is always a good idea to have your data and backup programs (it's general advice for any system its always good to have a backup in case of possible failure of material/virus)

    There is nothing to worry.

Using both programs at the same time can cause system conflicts, etc.

If you are using one of the above AntiVirus programs, this Information from David O - Support Engineer shows you how to manually enable Windows Defender (disregard information from uninstalling; not possible in Vista):
