Failure to screen on Satellite C55D
Hi all
2 months ago I bought a C55D satellite. For 4 or 5 days, it appeared a few black lines on the screen until the full black. "The diagnosis after sales Service of DARTY, the french retailer was: guaranteed refused since failure screen due to pressure or shock on the screen" and they offer a repair to 560 euros.
Because I guarantee there was shock or pressure on the screen. For me, this is an internal failure and Darty want ' t deceive me (polite style). Even though I'm not a specialist, however, I'm determine to make the mess!

I agree with Timox: get in touch with certified maintainer Toshiba in your country.
The guys are specialists and could check the parts affected in detail.

I have a Toshiba Satellite C55D - A - 15 H, which was at around the age of 6 months, and recently the disc drive has stopped working.

Recently replaced screen on Satellite L500D - 16 M and worked perfectly.
Closed the lid but has not closed laptop. Next day, totally blank screen.
Removed the battery, power off and all used to self-help, all to nothing does not.
Have you tried the laptop computer connection no signal TV using a HDMI cable and TV shows. Wanted to do this to check if the replacement screen was defective.
Fan works and two green lights on the front of the laptop and amber but absolutely no display at all.

Error blue screen on Satellite Pro A10

I try to help my in-laws with their SPA10 Pro Satellite. I had set this up for them a few months ago and it was working fine.

I have a 2008 Macbook Pro which is having some problems, I was able to fix them, but eventually the hard drive failed. Since you have a Mac pre-2013, if you hold down the D key while booting, the built-in Apple Hardware Test should start up. This can help to identify hardware problems.
