Serial number (deleted content), which the audit said 2136. Both numbers were checked on the HP website. Is this normal for HP products?  Thank you

  I have a satellite A210-17 for a few years now, but I made the mistake to go to the Microsoft Web site
  to make a BIOS setting to day and once I installed upgrading BIOS, that the laptop did not return ever on, black screen.

  I brought a guy in the month city 3 or 4 he is, he said, it could replace a bios chip if necessary
  but did nothing or I would have heard of him now.

  Is it possible that I can get the bios chip and have him install for me?
  I don't have 200 euros to replace the whole motherboard.

  Update the BIOS is a very serious procedure, and the use of fake and not compatible BIOS would damage the motherboard.

  To be honest, I don t think that the replacement of the EPROM would help you that of course, the BIOS is stored on EPROM module but in most cases this chip is soldered to the motherboard and the EPROM replacement will not be easy

  To my knowledge the EPROM module could be flashed once more using the crisis disk BIOS and the special procedure. Usually, these updates of the crisis of the BIOS can be done by maintainer authorized Toshiba and that don t require the replacement of the EPROM module.

  I also read in this forum that some guy tried to Flash the EPROM module to clean hands in some cases, it worked, but in different cases such update does not work correctly

  I bought a new battery (PA3534U-1BRS) because my old battery (3 years) hold office as well as it should!
  The new battery will not charge, the Red battery light suggesting everything of fine, but then begins to Flash after 20 minutes.
  When I turn on the computer the battery indicator on the taskbar in Vista tells me the device is turned on, but the battery won't charge.

  The company where I bought the battery has issued me with a replacement, but I'll always have the same problem.
  They have listed the battery as a genuine, and there any labelling even as my old battery.

  The battery would be false or toshiba has changed the specifications of this battery in particular.
  The reason for my last statement is the fact that my old battery contacts look more apparent than those on the new.

  I have no reason to believe that the company is not kosher because I returned the first battery to address personally after realizing that they were on my doorstep!

  Maybe you used the battery is not compatible, but AFAIK the PA3534U-1BRS is designed for Satellite A200 A300 L300 L300D
  So it should work.

  However, I recommend buying a battery of origin of Toshiba ASP.

  Contact a local Toshiba authorized service partner and order a new compatible battery for this laptop.

  Try to boot mode safe (repeatedly press the F8 key while your computer starts).  Do you still have this problem in Mode safe?  If you do not, then it is probably a configuration error and eliminating the program that generates this error will probably solve your problem.  To determine which program in other words, you will use 'msconfig' (start-> Run-> "msconfig") to disable startup .emissions in groups until you find one that gives you your problem.  It may be a random approach long, interminable, but it usually works.

  It may be useful to follow the steps here, as the case may be:

  • If iTunes does not recognize your iPhone, iPad or iPod - Apple Support
  • If you see an error when you update or restore your iPhone, iPad or iPod - Apple Support
  • If your iTunes backup could not be completed or you cannot restore from a backup - Apple Support

  When connecting your iPhone to your computer, make sure you use a certified by Apple or an Apple original cable / cable of the IFM. If you are already doing so, try to use another cable of the same type (that is, only it is authentic or certified).
