FAP overlap Dinopio PDF

Hi all

Without a transaction, we use Dinopio to generate PDF files for from the documaker library forms (we use doCallAPI of PTEs).

The intent is to store these PDF templates in a repository.

The pdf is so like the "screenshot" of the form that can be seen in Documaker Studio (eventually, all fields are empty and no rule of FORM level is running).

We have a case where we have a couple of footers conditional, placed at the same position. So, one of them will be printed at any time.

However, the Dinopio will be the two footers printed on the PDF (no rules don't run!) and they overlap only.

Is it possible to avoid this duplication?

Thank you!

Print sample / proof of a raw form will print exactly as it is designed - with sections that overlap - because there is no way for the system to know if overlap is intentional or not. For example, sometimes people design pages where there is a background template that represents the appearance of the pre-printed paper. In this case, the sections are intentionally superimposed on top of the background to give the same appearance that would be on a printed page.

Even if you thought it should be a way to just have the sections that overlap, added each other instead of overlap which would make the content of your page as long as the definition of the actual page. In this case, the PDF viewer would limit what you could see in the definition of the page and you missing content. This may seem acceptable when it is only a small footer, as in this case, however if you had overlapping headers? By adding headers one after another would push all the other sections to the bottom of the page and you may lose a content you want to see.

So there really isn't anything that evidence may know that sections are not intentionally overlapped, and he does not want to change the size of your page in the final result.

  • How to prevent the overlap in PDF form?

I am filling an application for employment with the Veterans Health Administration using their required PDF form. Everything works fine until I reached the "Références" box that contains four lines to enter names and etc. In the 'Address' box section, the data entered in the areas of first and fourth automatically duplicated with the same information. I use a MacBook and save and view the PDF with Adobe Reader. Anyone know how to prevent this duplication?

Here is the link to the PDF and scroll to page 3: http://www.va.gov/vaforms/medical/pdf/vha-10-2850a-091998-fill.pdf

This is because the creator of the form named these same fields (probably copy and paste to the other create) and all the fields with the same name will be filled in with the same information (this is required).

Let them know that they need to change the names of field to be unique (for the time being they are all two '29 b Ref-Address1'). It was probably just an oversight.

Instead of filling & signature, tool, use the text comment comment tool, KB doc option. using comments in the PDF, Adobe Acrobat DC files (keyword: Add a text comment).

  • Interactive PDF: flipping scalable button images seem to break up when they overlap

    Hi all

In my interactive PDF, I have rollover buttons that resizable overview.  The buttons are close together.  When I put the cursor on a button and go to the other in Adobe Acrobat format, it seems to be brief I snap the picture.  I think this is caused when the images are superimposed.  It would be very attractive to my client.  Is there a setting that I can use to prevent this?  I feel I have tried all the settings in the Export menu, I'm looking at you all for the advice.  Here is a link to the PDF in question.  Thanks for helping me with this.

  • When I print a table (multiple pages) the text box under the table seems to be moving under the table and prints with the table of this overlap. My only solution is to push the text box further down the page before printing... Any advice?

Im having problems shaped a text box so that my table does not print right on top of it. I want it inside of my table (it's 'tems and conditions' budget)

    Any advice would be great.

I face the same problem as well. Would like to know if there is a better way to get the text box to move with the table instead of the effect that overlap. Have to manually adjust the layout, whenever I want to get a reasonable print of a document (or export it to PDF) seems counterintuitive, especially when it causes the document seem ill-disposed on screen.

I am running version 3.6.2 of the numbers in the case where that matters.

  • WLCs manage LWAPPs to use chs overlapping?

I'm a beginner with the wireless and more, the WLC. (I use a WLC module in a search report international No. 2851). I have a few general questions about the WLCM:

    (1) I will deploy five laps out of the WLCM in a floor of a building. It's true that I don't have to worry of duplication of canals as the WLCM detects contention and change the channel? Don't I have to configure anything in particular about channels, on the side of RF?

    (2) I have will be also using 7920 s in my deployment and want to ensure call quality when a user walks/wanders between the towers. I'll use static and 7920 WEPs s are on the same VLAN. Since all APs are associated with the same WLCM, is it true that I will not make additional configuration in order to ensure smooth roaming?

    Thank you!

    Greetings,

It is what it is supposed to do. It has been my experience and other institutions, this is not necessarily the case.

Regarding the allocation of channels, this device did a mediocre job, even though I have many more AP 5, so your mileage may vary. Be on the lookout for the same location co channel features where is not necessary to be.

Power settings also not are managed properly. Almost each AP in my installations are power 2 (17dBm or 50mW) level and it is only because I do not allow the maximum power in option. There is a wonderful document you must download if you want to be anywhere near LWAPP - http://www.cisco.com/warp/public/114/rrm.pdf

read especially the emission power algorithm and the algorithm of hole in coverage. I took the third AP of any AP has a threshold by default - 65, which means that if this criterion is satisfied that the power will not come down. My investigations are at 11 Mbit/s to-65dBm, that would mean my third AP since my first AP location will be at the edge of the first cell in the AP. If you draw three circles on paper, your first circle is where you want, the radius of the third circle must pass through the edge of the first circle... so now that you have to enter the second circle somewhere in there. This scenario is called duplication of 50% - where two AP (two 50% (a 100%) overlap to another AP. If in the case of a failure of AP - two others can pick up the slack. Well, if I draw my networks as such, what the hell do need me LWAPP for? I opened a TAC case and vain quickly actually, I got nowhere at all.

My solution for me is to redesign the existing infrastructure in order to have 20-30% overlap and have 11 Mbps cell boundries to-65dBm. The only way I'll be able to maintain the allocations of power and the channel will remove auto channel RF and power capabilities. I'll harcode that in. Perhaps, once the design, I get up and functional, I'll experiment with sections of the installation and let auto RF have a chance in a properly designed environment and see what happens. Unfortunately, I'm in a production of high-profile health care environment, and I'm not comfortable, especially given the results that I've seen so far.

I hope that you have determined that the 5 you need the AP was based on a valid poll, preferably using the 7920 as the survey tool.

If you have determined your coverage, throughput requirements, and plans for future growth, and read about what rate you can get each access point in the scenarios of data and voice and has determined that some areas may or may not be more densely populated with users using voice or data or both - then you should be ok.

Please think of voice being on the same vlan as data, which should be separate even more data wired people.

If you have many users then go ahead. If you think that the user density could bite you in the pants, he will and he won't let go.

If I have not scared the crap out of you yet, I hope to have given you some things to think about and tools to use so that you are not in the situation that I am currently.

However, being the payer cleaner remarkably well. I'm kind of the wireless "Mr. Wolf" in the film of our network.

    1. this dynamic pdf encoding is possible in Studio of Documaker? You want to provide a definitive answer to the project team and not only my assumptions.

Currently, we run a script superimposed on the pdf to provide this functionality for customers.

Or, at the very least, we can encode text fields on a fap in pdf-editable Documaker?

    Thank you!

Fillable PDF is available in the two 12.4 SE and EE.

In most cases, the XFA PDF file will have validation and formatting similar to the field types used on the Documaker data entry forms.

If you issue XFA PDF files, the fields fill out the PDF form will have no formatting and validation in the field.

Some things like the DAL support not available in XFA PDF files.

If you are not familiar with the Documaker data entry forms used in Documaker Workstation, you can use the tool to check data entered in DMStudio to see how different types work on field data entry forms.

Here are the types of fields available on the Documaker data entry forms.

Here's the INI settings that can be used to produce on-screen fillable PDFs.

  • PDF has different elements on other PCs

I created a PDF form, which is pretty standard. There is a section with a grey BG on page 1. When I consult on other PCs there seems to be 2 grey BG of overlap. Also further down in the PDF file there are yellow highlight text.

I haven't used highlighting... but the question is, I don't see the yellow on my monitor, but all other monitors display the yellow and grey extra BG.

I feel, there may be some settings in Acrobat, but looking through them, I don't see how to solve this problem?

    Everyone see that?

The yellow is a highlight of text annotation. The gray boxes are just ordinary page content and there are actually eight of them of different sizes. I can't explain why you don't see them all in Acrobat 7, of that large one darker is marked as an artifact.

How can I add white space between areas that contain text fields?

I use Adobe Acrobat Pro DC 2015.

I'm trying to change an existing PDF. I need to add white space between areas that contain text fields to allow these areas to be developed and do not overlap the text and the text below fields.

    For example:

    1. 1.

    Progress/strategies:

    1. 2.

    Progress/strategies:

    1. 3.

    Progress/strategies:

    1. 4.

    Progress/strategies:

The space between each 'progress/strategies' increasing needs. A text field is under each of them. If it's a Word doc, I could just press on enter. What is the best way to do this with Adobe Acrobat Pro DC?

There is no easy way to do it. You need to move the text fields more apart and if there are static elements, then you will need to use the tool edit text & Images to move them, separately.

  • Utility command line to convert the PDF externally Documaker 11.4 Logo

In 11.4, we want to automate the process of converting the external PDF file in Studio of Documaker that Logos of reference and the same will be considered as pointers to resource loading AFP.

Conversion Manager in the workspace of documaker has available to convert the PDF in FAP with embedded Logos. The utility/Dll used for this conversion does not run the same in the command prompt. We would also like to know the utility to convert the Tiff in Logo images in the workspace of Documaker, to run the same in the command prompt.

Utilities in the link below do not meet our requirement above.

    Utilities available

Please let us know about these two services were used in documaker 11.4 for automation object.

    Thank you.

One possibility would be to find a TIFF image to PNG utility (you can find some with a Google search), then use the PNG2LOG utility. There is no use for PDF to FAP. A similar (though more complicated) approach could work to convert PDF files. You must find a utility to convert PDF to TIFF and then convert TIFF PNG, then use the PNG2LOG utility. If the PDF file contains multiple pages, you will need to have a separate PNG for each page (so that PDF and TIFF files are supported on several pages, PNG and LOG files are not). Finally, you must write a tool to create an APF file that references the LOG file. FAP file format information can be found here.

  • Interactive PDF layers appear behind the text. A script can move them to the top layer?

I have created a form in InDesign CC (latest version on a Mac under El Capitan). I export the form in PDF format. There are some interactive tooltips (with suggestions on how to fill in each particular field) implemented as buttons. The control keys are static. When I click on the trigger, the bubble appears, when I click on the bubble, it disappears. The problem is that even if the bubbles are set up on the top layer in InDesign, in many cases they appear behind the text layer.

Is there a script that I can add to each individual bubble that says "when this bubble is active, move it to the top layer?

This project took over 3 weeks of troubleshooting. In the end I came up with my own results. The answer was "no, it isn't a script."

With the help of the Adobe customer service, we found that because in the InDesign file, I had the pop-ups on a different layer than the triggers, it was causing a problem of overlap. I found myself by combining the layers into a single, moving pop ups to the elements high on the page in the layers palette.

Then I exported (interactive) PDF from InDesign and in the PDF file, in edit mode, in the fields Panel, I've selected all the pop-ups and offers them to at the bottom of each page [z-index property]. A lot of manual labor, but in the end, I got most of the results I wanted.

  • How to create a PDF from a Web site with a java table?

The table has three drop-down lists, which all lead to different tables on the Web site. I need a PDF of a lot of tables, combined or individually. Currently, the only way it works is to convert the page in PDF format after manually changing the drop-down list. • IE11: Plugin player overlaps the content of the site

    Hello

I noticed a problem with IE (11) and the Plugin Acrobat Reader:

We made a site with an iframe that contains a simple PDF file. Each browser presents this PDF it is observer-Plugin. Firefox and Chrome have their own PDF-viewers and perform very well, load IE Plugin Adobe Acrobat. It looks as good, but there is a problem:

When I scroll the page (so the iframe to move upward), the Player Plugin overlaps the content of the site, so half of the menu bar is not visible over (see menue.png - Box, the part with a red line). The plugin seems to not respect the depth information. I remember that this problem occurred also the Flash from Adobe.

It is something I can do to get the plugin to display in the normal flow of the site (that is, behind the bar menu)?

    Thanks for your help.

I found a solution: I inserted an iframe without source with the same exact positioning and sizing of my menu bar. Adobe Reader that prevents from overlap. But only when the page does not move (i.e. scrolling). Better than nothing, I would say.
