  You can listen to your audio through double speed but normal pitch using the Speed Up preset effects/time and Pitch/Stretch and height. You can hear it without making the audio using the preview to play in the scope pane and Pitch. In addition, you can use the F8 keyboard shortcut to place markers in the audio waveform as you play at double speed.

  Hi, we move to ESXi v5.5 and currently have for most blades IBM HS22/23 servers.

  The long and short of it is Vmware puts another piece on the hypervisor requesting your VM I/O buffers SSDS Rapids or flash cards for faster reads/writes of your San.  An easy way to think of this is that if you have already configured a disk to disk-to-tape configuration.  Dump you everything on the drive first for speed (several jobs at the same time, writing more Rapids, ect, ect), then send it to tape.  Its kind of the same idea with Flash Read Cache.  e/s of the VMDK is buffered or sent to the flash cache and sent to the San to increase performance.

  I recently bought a rMBP 13 "with 8 GB of RAM. This is only my third time (I started for the first time last night). Here is a screenshot I took of the memory usage after starting it on for the first time. My question is: is it normal to see that most of the memory is in use, even if I only have Safari (1 inactive tablet on the homepage of Google) and open the activity monitor? I'm afraid that this is rare and not have a lot of wrong answers online.

  Second question, if someone has knowledge: 8 GB of RAM is good enough to run software such as MATLAB, AutoCAD and SolidWorks? Or 16 GB would be better? I still have time to exchange the rMBP.

  

  ElCapitan is designed to use as much RAM as possible at all times for efficient operation.  She will move to a video buffer, operations of common files, etc. in the RAM and the y keep in case he should run again.  CBS will move embusked operations out of RAM if new operations is displayed.

  Maximum capacity at the moment is 2 TB, enough for almost all users and by eliminating the need for storage of primary data on an external drive.  I currently have 1 TB SSD Crucial in my Mbps in 2010 and 2011.  Would they change a profound impact on the performance of the computer.  If the bank account is fat, install an SSD.  If not, faster turns HARD drive will be better, but not as much as the speed difference may suggest compared with the 5400 RPM HARD drive.

  Based on reputation, the best currently available SSD is OWC and Crucial.  Although I prefer HGST and Seagate HDD, one brand will do that are listed in the link I have provided.

  As a side note, your MBP will support up to 16 GB of RAM.  OWC and Crucial are the best sources for RAM Mac compatible.

• Satellite U500-17F: problems with the new HARD drive

  Hi everyone, I got some troubleshooting with my Satellite and a new drive, I bought recently, because that is already damaged because of too many bad sectors. One is a Western Digital Scorpio Black 320 Bg (WD3200BEKT model number). It should be a fast reader but is not with my Satellite.

  After having mounted the drive in the laptop, I ran a new installation (with full disk format} Windows 7 (64 bit) with all the necessary drivers (that I downloaded directly from the Page of Support Toshiba.)

  The problem is that the laptop needs a lot of time to start and also to disable, and whenever I try to run an application or start a program (for example Firefox, or just a few windows applications), the laptop freezes for about 30 to 60 seconds, the drive no longer works (you can hear leaders put in position 'parking' and the HDD LED control is constant) ", no lights flashing).

  It seems that the drive (during this 30-60 seconds) in something as a stand-by mode. I ran a few Western Digital diagnostic tools and the car looks all right to 100%. It works also without any problems in the other laptop (HP Pavilion DV6500). Could this be a problem with the controller (Intel ICH9M - E ATA AHCI controller) driver?

  Please check if you need a BIOS update. Of course I read in a few discussions on the similar question of Win XP you use Win 7 but its value to check the update of the BIOS and U500 series.

  In addition, I recommend check you the power of Windows 7 options.
  Disable in the power profile that you use power saving HDD.

  Just a question:
  You use the option AHCI in the BIOS?
  As far as I know it of possible to use either a compatible SATA AHCI mode.
  AHCI must be used because this option would use full SATA performance.

• A Satellite Pro 6100 graphics card does not work correctly

  I have a Satellite Pro 6100 (PS610E - 02c 60-GR) 1.7 Ghz, 256 MB, 40 GB, 15XT and a Geforce4 420 Go (32 MB) graphic card. Until yesterday it was working properly. Now, there are colors on the screen and there was a blue screen a few times, which says something about my graphics card (it disappeared from fast read).
  I uninstalled the old driver and reinstalled twice. Nothing has changed. Also I tried with an external monitor, but there wasn't any change, too.

  Now my questions:
  1. is it possible to change the graphics card (in particular, can I do it alone without a technician)?
  2. How can I do this, is there some tutorials, especially for my laptop?
  3. an another Geforce4, but for example a Geforce4 440 Go with 64 MB of RAM would fit in my notebook?

  This is especially if the malfunction of hardware has been detected.
  I presume that the replacement of the graphics card is the reason!

  As in previous discussions suggested the replacement of the graphics card is NOT possible. You don't believe!
  Looks like that the BIOS cannot handle this new graphics chip.

  P.S., Download the app from the App Store. Copy it from one machine to the other. Don't forget to run the download of additional software on both machines. It is not that big. For most of the additional codecs.

  The easiest way to do what you want is to use what is called the managed media, so your media in contained inside of the whole library. Get a good external fast reader. Make a new library for each production. Save the library on the external media player. Default library properties is run, media if you are really good to go as soon as you do in the library. Everything that you import is in the library. Just take the reader to a computer machine. The only things to watch are elements like fonts and plugins and other who could be on one machine and not on the other. Everything for the production, the original media, optimized media, make files, proxies, regardless the trip with the library.

  SDS + hard disc all the appliance is located. It is known as a SSHD by Seagate. The SSD part is used for caching only... It is not accessible by users. Then don't worry in this regard.

  Currently, I am trying to log readings of DC voltage with an AA battery in an ASCII using LabVIEW 2009 of SingalExpress file and the USB-4065 digital multimeter (DMM). I have two stages:

  (1) acquisition of Signal > voltage DC using DMM

  -resolution 4.5 with 3.333333E the value-5 sampling period

  2) save in ASCII

  -The value to add to the file, delete the file after each race

  Faster reading, I can get is a data point written in the ASCII file every eighth of a second.

  Furthermore, I am new and software OR LabVIEW, the LabVIEW SignalExpress software I have is only for evaluation as it was included in the CD of the driver for the USB 4065 DMM.

  1. Max (30 000 samples per second) sampling rate is only achievable by a LabVIEW VI?

  Hello Lukos,

  You are assuming that you need access to lower level functions in order to obtain the higher sampling rates. In order to get these speeds, we need to disable some settings that are not accessible via Signal Express. You can create a VI and then use a step VI call in Signal Express to stay in the same environment.

• DAQmx showing not readings to multiple channels

  I am trying to acquire values of temperature of 3 consecutive using a task DAQmx channel as shown in the attached photo.

  I have a loop of producer-consumer for fast reading and writing samples in a file.

  To specify the channels, I typed in the box connected to a terminal of "physical channel" (not shown in picture) as follows:-SC1Mod2 / ai2:4.  This is to acquire a reading of analog channels 2, 3 and 4. The program must then write a file reading on channel 3.

  The code works perfectly if I purchase samples of 1 channel only.

  When I try to acquire multiple channels, I don't see readings on one of the task of acquiring Wired Digital indicators.

  I would appreciate your input on what might be wrong with the code.

• Chrashed Application LabView sometimes - OPC, DSC, database

  I have a problem with LabView. IAM using 8.6 with DSC. I have an OPC Server with 400 Variables to read a 40 to write

  My first try was the connection to the server via Datasocket. The reading 400 variables was very fast, but writing 40 variables was very slow. Each write cycle takes 10-30 s. I need now about 300-500 ms. a second is also ok, but no more.

  After that, I created a mutual FUND I/O-Server in the library. I have create 10 variables in the same Libarary. I connect variables on the EVS to the IO server it works very well. Fast read and write. But if I use more than 6-8 variables to write shared variables that LabVIEW crashed or do nothing.

  So I used the right click on the digital control - data binding - Data Binding selection-> socket Data. On the server that I am looking for the variable on the opc server. (Example pathpc: / / localhost/BACHMANN.) OPCStandardServer.2/DeltaPOx.DeltaPOx_DAQ. DeltaPOx.DELTAPOX__HostVorg_cont_MFCVorg_C2_02_soll). It works very well. I finished the project a make an exe file. Question: the communication going on AES or directly on the opc Server?

  Now the problem:

  (1) sometimes without any reason the connection with the SPS crashed. I show the LEDs of the PSP on the buttons a numerical indicators a green led switches to red. With customer Softwarefrom the producer of SPS, the communication works very well. If the SPS an OPC server doesn't always work. Even a reboot of the LabView program do not work. I have to restart the pc. After the reboot, it works well.

  (2) once the database crashed. I use the Hyper trend to show trends in the variables. Sometimes if I open the tab with Windows Hyper trend data displays the Date of January 1, 1904. That I have to restart the database. The last time, it doesn't work and I had to rebuild the Application host.

  (3) I get an error message "Runtime Error... Tagsrv.exe. I read that this message comes only if something tried to close the database. I have the error at startup of windows messages. Sometimes, after a few minutes or hours, or days. I install LabView 2009 now. I hope that the failure is complete.

  I guess that something with the database or the OPC server is incorrect. Maybe someone has an idea.

If microcontroller gives "11.25", in labview each letter is delivered to a different as string ("1""1" "". "") "2" "5").. How can I manage data... to make it unique as 11.25, a number constant.

  It seems that you read too fast, read up what an endcharacter probably puts the characters in a string that can translate the string of numbers conversion routines in the palette of the chain.
