• Fax server do not have security permissions

  I have a network with server 1 and 7 workstations. A fax server is installed on the server (running Windows Server 2008 R2) and all workstations running Windows 7 Pro. 7 workstations, 4 of them are able to connect to the fax server and work perfectly. The other 3 work stations, each time I try to set up a fax by using the wizard account account I get the following error: "you don't have security permissions to complete this operation. Contact your administrator for more information fax". I have tried everything I can find on the internet for this problem and not luck. I checked all the security options on the server and still nothing. Any help will be appreciated on how to resolve this dilemma.

  I have windows 7 and want to set up a fax from my computer and use the fax windows and digitization. they ask me a network address for the fax server, but I don't know where I can find it.  I don't have a fax connected to my computer, just to use one supplied with windows.   First question: Yes * if * it is Compatible Windows 7 and that you install the drivers for your operating system * and * connect your analog phone line, then you can use Windows Fax Scan & with it to send and receive faxes.

  Second question: Yes. If you buy a stand-alone fax machine and connect to your telephone line (analog), you should be able to send and receive faxes without any intervention from the computer at all.

• Error code 326/327, AIO OJ8600 Pro and JO 4315. Unable to connect to an enterprise fax server

  I have an Officejet 4315 old and a brand new Officejet Pro AIO 8600.  I can't move a fax to a seat of Metlife...  I called the office and they disavow problems with their machine (they receive several faxes per day 100).  I get the error message 326 (communication failure) each time.  Two faxes handshake correctly, and specifies the ID of the server corporaste.  My phone line using FoIP with U-verse.  I don't have any problems of a stand-alone fax in the Prosecutor's offices, etc.

  I'm sorry that you have this problem. Fax error code indicates that it is a problem with the condition of the phone line. One of the recommended solutions is to disable ECM, you can normally disable this option in the Setup under Advanced fax settings menu. I hope this helps!

• Bug to escape text with Microsoft Fax Server TSID/CSID

  I found a bug where an ampersand is escaped in one place but not in another place, so it is displayed inconsistently.

  To reproduce:

  (1) in the Microsoft Fax Service Manager, go to the devices and suppliers > devices > [device] > properties > general tab

  (2) on this tab, find "Transmission settings > Subscriber ID (TSID).

  (3) type a value with an ampersand, as "testA & testB.

  (4) on this tab, find "Transmission settings > Subscriber ID called (CSID).

  (5) type a value with an ampersand, such as «testC & testD»

  (6) ensure that the header is selected and also received email with active attachment
  (7) send a fax and receive a fax
  (8) discovers the two e-mails you have received.  The attachment which says that the fax was sent shows the TSID as 'testA _testB' (instead of the correct "testA & testB"). The email indicating that a fax has been received shows the CSID as 'testC & testD '.

  To work around this problem so that the two chains will appear correctly, I have to type "testA & testB" as the TSID and 'testC & testD' as the CSID.

  I use the 6.2.9200 on Windows Server 2012 Fax Service Manager.

• Windows Home Server help please with the reader.

  I have a Windows Home server in my office that has a single hard drive in it.  I continue to be told to use the repair utility when I turn on my computer.  I bought a new drive for the server.  Now that I need help, it's how to duplicate the new disc of the former, is there a way to do it, or do I have to copy all the content on another machine on the network, and then install the operating system from the beginning.  I want to avoid the loss of data.  Any help is greatly appreciated.

  There are essentially two options available

  Place the new drive as the primary drive and keep the original as a secondary disk. Install WHS as a repair install and it should pick up original and index folders and re-create the tombstones for them. Then use the move to folder option in the console to make the folders shared the second partition of the disk. However, the indexing process is quite intensive and is perhaps not ideal with a line of demarcation for lack of drive.

  Alternative, remove the old drive and install the new, install WHS as a new facility that will create partitions C and D, including the new shared folders empty. Once the installation is finished, put the old one in as second drive or if this is not possible an external drive dock and then copy the contents of the old drive in the new. That would be my preferred option because it is perhaps easier and safer.

  There is no option to save and copy and settings users, even with a repair installation, you must manually recreate the users.

  I struggled to create a base of ESXi due to compatibility server.  Here's my current version:

  Intel i7 4790

  Gigabyte Z97 - HD3

  2 x 1 TB Western Digital hard drives (SATA)

  Ballistix 16 GB DDR - 1866

  I realize that my motherboard is not compatible (now that I bought it).  First of all, it was the NIC, now he does not see the HARD drive.  I bought an Intel NIC who works with ESXi.  If I buy a RAID controller, that gets me around the issue of compatibility?  Did I meet problems more?  Or what is the motherboard cheaper who will work with a LGA1150?  I struggled with this too much and I just want to find the easiest way to make this work .

  I recently bought a card mother-GA-Z97M-D3H (with i7 4790) to run ESXI 5.5

  I'm came across this post while searching for an answer - I found one, so I thought I'd share (should work as well for your motherboard, I don't think there is a big difference).

  The answer lies in the drivers, ESXi 5.5 does not have the drivers of NETWORK card or sata-xachi right.

  You can get these in a format VIB here:

  Then, you will need to inject into the iso ESXi 5.5 via the customizer of ESXi (www.v-front.de/p/esxi-customizer.html).

  Then install your iso ESXi personalized on your machine (I used Rufus for this: https://communities.vmware.com/thread/457760 ).

• MySQL database does not work on the remote server help!

  I'm kinda a noob in PHP/MySQL and I can't get my MySQL database to work on my remote server (it works on my local server).

  On the spot, I have:

  Connection name: local

  MySQL server: localhost

  User name: root

  Password: root

  Database: wbgt

  From a distance, I have:

  Created a database to help:

  username: wbgt (although it displays it as "web100-wbgt")

  password: root

  I also imported the MySQL database on the remote server.

  When I try to access any page that uses the MySQL database, it comes in white!

  Any ideas?

  Thank you! I got confused that it was not connect to the remote server.

  If someone else is in a similar situation as I was.

  I use heartinternet.co.uk

  1. export your local MySQL database
  2. create a MySQL database on your remote web hosting provider
  3. go to manage (or something similar) and import the MySQL database on your web hosting provider remotely
  4. in dreamweaver go to database data, +, MySQL connection Panel (or change your original database)
  5. Connection name - what you want
  6. MySQL - Localhost Server
  7. User name - whatever your remote site named the database in my case, I entered admin, but the user name is admin-web100-8
  8. Password - password for your remote database
  9. Database - go in manage your databases click on database and on the left side you should see the name of your database. in my case it was web100-admin-8 new (I couldn't connect on the ddatabase distance so I had to enter manually)
  10. Click fact put and it should work!

• HttpService with JSON server - help please

  I'm moving in return a JSON object in flex using HttpService. The scenario is like this - using HttpService I call an action as I am using Struts 2.0. This action is supposed to return a string in JSON format. When I pass in return the data as XML data is displayed correctly with the structure hierarchail. But when I pass the JSON string back it does not display anything.

  First, you will need to read your response as a simple text by specifying resultFormat = "text" in your service:
