Feast your eyes on backup

After being a user premuim for about 2 months, that I stopped using revel, earlier when I accidentally deleted the catalog in the menu Organizer adobe has resulted in the removal of about 7000 + pictures on revel immediately without way to restore

I've been given re use it as it is a bit the best in class, but my question is, how can I always keep a backup of my library? I don't want to store them locally

Thanks in advance

Ahmad

  • Feast your eyes on the hassles of storage space on IOS

So I have a very large collection of photographs, a couple hundred concerts a value and I thought that Adobe Revel would be the way to go to clean up quickly and easily with access on all my devices.

The problems is that the Adobe Revel app for my iPhone 4 (as well as all applications IOS Revel) insists on storing thumbnails of ALL my photos from my collection of 16,000 + photo. This means that more than 500 megabytes of space on my phone value is constantly dedicated to store photos that I rarely need. This may not seem a big deal to some, on a device with 14 GB of free space value, 500 MB is the equivalent of half of a film or a few pounds of medium length.

I appreciate the convenience of being able to scroll through everything quickly because it is already loaded. I understand that. But it's the 21st century and I think that we should have a few choices as to the amount of space this app takes over. I mean, my collection of photos is not exactly going to become all small is it?

I think we should be able to establish within Revel HOW MUCH storage the application will use to these thumbnails instead of having the decision EVERY being by default. In view of my own choice, I would set it at everything marked as a favorite and everything from the last 2 weeks. I think it's a thing just to ask for a big developer that Adobe can easily use it in their product.

Because right now the app is completely broken. Any attempt to open the application causes the message pop up "not enough local storage space: import was stopped because there is not enough storage available to Revel on this device." Please free up some space and try again. "Rejecting this message only allows him to appear again IMMEDIATELY. Can we at least fix the application so that I can still import to the cloud from my phone even when my phone cannot accept any thumbnails more?

Has anyone else encountered this problem?

If you are using a MAC, then you can check the State of the (s) library view and make sure that nothing is in the download queue. You can do so by looking at each library, click on the point to the left of the name. It will give you a status for this library. If you are sure that all additions are made, clear the caches for each library. You can have more than one library using the space.

On your iphone or ipad, switch to the view of the library for each library and look at the left icon of low clouds over the library icon. Beside that, you will see "updated" if she has completed synchronization.  You can click on the cloud for more information.

You can also confirm the images are uploaded by signing into the same account using another device or a browser to www.adoberevel.com. Try to download some original images. If more loads are completed, you should see the new images download and be able to view them.

If the files are synchronized and empty the cache doesn't help, I suggest that you remove the application, and then reload. Your photos will always be safe stored in the cloud. You will have some time to delay the first use you it because of the loading in the thumbnails. Please let me know if this reduces the amount of space used.

  • How to identify what trace file is your track of backup controlfile in udump

    I have a 10.2.0.3 database under unix.
I want to configure a job to run a script every night to save the controlfile as text.
as "alter database backup controlfile to trace."
How my script can identify what trace file is the only one created just for backup controlfile and copy the file on a backup drive?

    Thank you very much!

    I thought that there

    change controlfile backup of database to trace in the "absolute path to a file where you want that control to plain text file";

    e.g. on Windows...

ALTER database backup controlfile to trace as *'c:\temp\create_ORCL_control.sql'*.

This way, you will know where your work will backup controlfile to trace

  • How can you check if all your photos in Aperture are included in a backup?

So I just manually backed up my iMac by clicking in the upper right of my screen on the logo of Time Machine and selected "save now".

That's what I usually do I don't like TM backup automatically.

My concern is "stored all my pictures from my Aperture library?" and "How do I check?"

Can you also explain briefly, so I can understand that, what are the vaults?

    I use Aperture 3.4.5

    Thanks in advance

If your Aperture library on your system drive or another drive that is included in your Time Machine backup, your Aperture library will appear in the Time Machine backup.

Time Machine works well with Aperture 3.4.5.

Opening vaults are a part inherited from the era when Time Machine works well with any libraries. You can use them to create a second backup copy of your photos to a different drive.  A vault is essentially a copy of your Aperture library, and when you update a vault, all changes since the last backup will be applied to this copy.  This is an incremental backup and it's faster then copy your library entirely more and more.

  • How to go to a previous backup of your Adobe first Pro CC project.

So when I just changed, I accidentally deleted half of my video and I didn't know if my saved automatically and don't project could not cancel to retrieve video files. I was hoping that you can open previous versions of your first pro adobe and go to your project before backup automatically 1-2

There is an auto save the folder that contains the backup car. Choose one of them and see if the deleted video appears again. If you know the time that you actually deleted the images you can refine more reliable automatic backup. Then, once you have it back, resave the file but give it a new name, so you don't get confused.

  • Cannot delete the Time Machine backups

I have a MacBook Air and a 128 GB USB key that holds my library of photos, so I always make backups. My system - and I have recently made account how flawed it was - was to create backups on a 500 GB HARD drive, but to transfer them to a 2 TB HARD drive when it is full. So, I finally discovered that when I transfer backups in small quantities to the 2 TB, it takes more space because instead of aliases of files used to represent more recent backups, care of file just copied over and over again. For this reason, I put my 2 TB as a feature of time machine and imported all the old backups in the folder backups.db, that my Mac 'cleaned' and registered 135 GB. But 135 GB is not enough, I went and delete backups that I don't have anymore. When I looked in the trash to empty, I've seen 2 things: backups I have trashed and others who are pale sort out. I can't open the files, even if I right click and select "open in a new tab. When I try to "immediately remove" these paled-out files, I always get a message that they are "on duty." It is about 300 GB, so I must get rid of him. But it does not stop there, because when I try to "delete immediately" backups I had trashed myself, I get an error message! It is a total of about 600 GB, what I absolutely need to get rid of! If anyone has some tips, it will be greatly appeciated.

You have probably sprayed your Time Machine backup database. The best thing to do is erase the disc with Airport utility. Then start again with a new backup.

    Good day.

  • My book for Mac "preparing backup".

    Hi all

I've updated to Sierra this morning and since then my WD My Book for Mac has been slain in the backup of the preparation for about 10 hours. My backup before the upgrade went through without a problem. Is the amount of time the backup takes to be expected with the upgrade or it's just stuck in limbo?

    Thanks in advance.

    Hello, Huss417!

Thank you for using communities Support from Apple. Congrats on the update to Mac OS Sierra! It's a great new operating system. From your post, I'm seeing that you have problems with your Time Machine backup since the update, even though - he was slain on "Preparing" for a lot longer than expected. I know the importance of these backups and want absolutely to make your passes by. I'd be happy to help you!

  • How can I download the backup on Mac and then restore it via iTunes?

The STRP to restore stuck on "remaining time: estimation...» "So I would like to download the backup on my Mac and then restore it via iTunes.

This can be caused by a corrupt existing backup that should be deleted, or data on the device that causes the backup fails.  To resolve these issues, try to clear your last backup (if you a) by disabling the iCloud backup in settings > iCloud > storage and backup, and then press on managing storage, type on your device under the backups, and then click Delete backup.  Then go back and turn iCloud backup and try to save again.

If it don't always make a backup, you may have an app or something in your camera roll which causes the backup fails.  To find one, go to settings > iCloud > storage and backup > manage storage, tap the name of your device under backups under tap Backup Options show all Apps, turn them all off (including film) and then try to save again.  If the backup was successful, then the camera or one of your applications is originally the backup fails and you must located by the process of elimination. Turn on the film and retry backup.  If it succeeds, some of your applications to turn on and try saving again.  If it succeeds once again, turn it back on a few apps more then try; Repeat this process until it fails.  Finally, you will be able to locate the app problem and exclude from your backup.

  • Reconnect to backup TM

In a moment of madness I just unplugged my Time Machine backup. [I clicked on delete the disk > stop using this drive]. I have changed the same drive, entered the password and hey presto I see is no longer my backups. I have not changed time capsule machines, or whatever it is reformatted. I just need to restore the link with backups I have and not start a new.

Execution of Yosemite 10.10.5 on a MacBook Pro to 2012, to a Time Capsule airport version 7.7.7 wireless backup.

    Can anyone help?

Click the 'clock' Time machine at the top of the screen

    Click back up now

It may appear initially as if Time Machine will make a new backup, but after a few minutes it will recognize the old backup file and perform a rear differential that should only take a few minutes.

After the backup is complete, you will be able to see your Time Machine backups normally.

  • Backup size seems too big, then save too little...

    Hi all

I recently had the warning that my iCloud storage is running low.

When you go to manage storage on my iPhone, it shows the current size of backup as 3.4 GB and the size of next backup as 64.4 MB.

Looking at what is happening to back up, the most important is 148 MB of photos.  By adding up everything on the list that will appear I get about 250 MB.  I understand there are things like messages, mail etc. to go on top of that.

First of all, how is my next backup size only 64.4 MB when it shows clearly more than that in the list below?  What is the amount of data needed to bring the backup to this day?

Second, I'm not sure how to reach 3.4 GB size current backup.  What has always taken a lot of place are my photo library, but for about a year now, I don't have "My Photo Stream" and "iCloud Photo Sharing" voluntarily to keep my backup size low.

My iPad back is up to 1.1 GB, which is what I was waiting for my iPhone to be.

    See you soon!

To answer your first question, backups are incremental.  It is, essentially, that the data/parameters have changed since the last backup are added to the current backup.  And, yes - 64.4 MB would just bring your backup to date.

As for your second question, I'm not sure either, based on what you have demonstrated.

  • TimeCapsule must create a new backup... once again

Since the update to Yosemite, I was totally unable to save anything to my Time Capsule airport. Whenever I restart the process, it takes several days to make a backup and then he said: there is a problem with the backup and I have to start over. So, I worked without a backup for months.

    What should do?

Unfortunately, Time Machine has detected that your old backups are corrupt, and disk utility can't repair, so Time Machine must erase your old backups and start over with a new backup and then move forward again.

If you choose to Back Up later, then backups to happen until you click Start a new backup.

When you click on the "start new backup" button, your old corrupted backups will be deleted and Time Machine will start a new full backup of your Mac.

  • How to see applications like adobe etc that i myself have installed in icoud backup

How to see the data of other applications in icloud I have installed on my iphone. I also took the backup, but it displays data from applications of preinstalled applications.

I'm not sure that I completely understand the question, but the applications themselves are not stored in iCloud (or iTunes) backup.  Only their data is stored in the backup IF you have selected this option:

Settings > general > storage & use iCloud > manage storage (under ICLOUD) > your phone (under BACKUPS)

There you can choose the application data you want to save as BACKUP OPTIONS.  (You may have to tap on view all applications also.)
