  • Feast your eyes on the hassles of storage space on IOS

So I have a very large collection of photographs, a couple hundred concerts a value and I thought that Adobe Revel would be the way to go to clean up quickly and easily with access on all my devices.

The problems is that the Adobe Revel app for my iPhone 4 (as well as all applications IOS Revel) insists on storing thumbnails of ALL my photos from my collection of 16,000 + photo. This means that more than 500 megabytes of space on my phone value is constantly dedicated to store photos that I rarely need. This may not seem a big deal to some, on a device with 14 GB of free space value, 500 MB is the equivalent of half of a film or a few pounds of medium length.

I appreciate the convenience of being able to scroll through everything quickly because it is already loaded. I understand that. But it's the 21st century and I think that we should have a few choices as to the amount of space this app takes over. I mean, my collection of photos is not exactly going to become all small is it?

I think we should be able to establish within Revel HOW MUCH storage the application will use to these thumbnails instead of having the decision EVERY being by default. In view of my own choice, I would set it at everything marked as a favorite and everything from the last 2 weeks. I think it's a thing just to ask for a big developer that Adobe can easily use it in their product.

Because right now the app is completely broken. Any attempt to open the application causes the message pop up "not enough local storage space: import was stopped because there is not enough storage available to Revel on this device." Please free up some space and try again. "Rejecting this message only allows him to appear again IMMEDIATELY. Can we at least fix the application so that I can still import to the cloud from my phone even when my phone cannot accept any thumbnails more?

Has anyone else encountered this problem?

If you are using a MAC, then you can check the State of the (s) library view and make sure that nothing is in the download queue. You can do so by looking at each library, click on the point to the left of the name. It will give you a status for this library. If you are sure that all additions are made, clear the caches for each library. You can have more than one library using the space.

On your iphone or ipad, switch to the view of the library for each library and look at the left icon of low clouds over the library icon. Beside that, you will see "updated" if she has completed synchronization.  You can click on the cloud for more information.

You can also confirm the images are uploaded by signing into the same account using another device or a browser to www.adoberevel.com. Try to download some original images. If more loads are completed, you should see the new images download and be able to view them.

If the files are synchronized and empty the cache doesn't help, I suggest that you remove the application, and then reload. Your photos will always be safe stored in the cloud. You will have some time to delay the first use you it because of the loading in the thumbnails. Please let me know if this reduces the amount of space used.

I lost my question, too. But I think I found it. Go to Forum Home Support. (The link is on the right side of the page web or go directly: https://support.mozilla.com/en-US/questions ) A little ways from the header, there is a way to sort the comments, like "Most recent" and "Most often requested." Let your eyes go further to the right on that even online where the filter allows you to select 'my Contributions '. If your question has been asked in the Support Forum, you may be able to find it in this way. Good luck.

  • Enter CC allows you to send regular photos to your libraries?

The only option that I understand for sending photos to Capture CC is the look section. When I create a new library, I'm not able to add these photos in my Photoshop document. She LOOK photos can go first and sequelae.

This App allows you to send photos to your libraries? Thank you very much for your help!

Hello! I try to understand what is happening here.

So you use adobe screenshot. Adobe Capture gives you 4 applications that you can use:

    Color

-Color lets you create palettes. You can create palettes using existing images or score you camera directly to what is in front of you. If the purpose of color creates for example Illustrator or Photoshop color palettes. They will disembark in your libraries

    GLANCE

-look almost the same as color, but what you get is a search for color you can use successfully in e.g. sequelae. Your eyes will land in your library

    FORM

-form transforms photos into vectors. You can use your existing or new photos. Once you have created a form, which is a vector of the apps created a photo, you can save it in your library and use it in your client application. As for the color and appearance, your silhouette will be in the library

    BRUSH

-brush is an application that allows you to create brushes for other mobile applications or desktop applications. As in all others, you can take a photo or an existing photo allows you to create a new brush. The coals can be saved and appear in your library.

For all applications allow you to open pictures from your mobile or tablet or take new and use them for the purposes of the application itself.

If your goal is to work on an image and the image that is sent to a desktop app, maybe you should check Photoshop Fix or Photoshop Mix. They too are Adobe apps, but are not available for all mobile phones and phones yet.

  • Your questions are N.D. for my lifestyle, I'm retired, I've been in the medical field for 30 years and more

I am retired and have been for many years.  I was in the medical field for more than 30 years.   My message is: why is Adobe so expensive?  When I had my other laptop and my first desktop computer, he was free.    It is now almost $200.   Here's my question and my concern.    The trial edition will not download on my laptop Hp Pavillioin of g series... It's a ffarce I think

Since your question and the problem is the cost of the software, the software has never been free and has always been expensive.  If the software that came with your computer, the cost of the software was included with it.

  • Color temperature of the room. Light falling on your monitor.

As part of a good color management strategy how big a problem or concern is it about the room temperature of lighting where you work - specifically, the light that falls on your monitor screen that you use to edit and view images.

For example, I used a sensor to check the light falling on my monitor. He indicated that this light was 3700K color temperature.

    I use a LCD screen.

Should I try to change my room light somehow. My understanding is that the 5000K range is better?

    Hi, Tom.

Images on a screen are a little different from that of the images to print.  What you see is reflected in the press, entering your eye, less what is absorbed by the pigments, inks, papers, etc..  If it does not exist in the light source, it can only exist on paper.  Light source definitely affect the colors reflected in your eye.  (of course, the eye adapts and color correct insofar as possible).

With the monitors, light (LCD, phosphores, etc.) IS the image.  In general, the temperature of your ambient lighting should have less effect on the displayed image, however, the level of ambient lighting can have a big effect.  In addition, it is a good idea to keep the excessive light armored so do you not monitor, which can reduce the contrast, flare, change the dynamic range, etc.  (3700K sounds like a taste of fluorescent, or a mixture of incandescent and fluorescent).

In an ideal world, your lighting in the room would never vary in color or brightness, temperature would be a perfect D50 and not too bright.  You would also have a perfectly neutral workspace, gray walls, wearing a black shirt, etc.  Then, you can maintain some consistency and use the same lighting to view your prints.  It is not always easy to achieve.  Instead, you can stick with normal room light (not too sharp) and then use standard lamps to view your prints.  That's what a lot of people do if they cannot achieve perfection.  Printing companies even do this and use a look at a stand for an assessment critical.  If your monitor is calibrated correctly, you have moderate ambient light levels, a hooded monitor if you have a standard D50 look at a light with the right intensity and reflection problems, you can get great matches of the print monitor.

So, I don't sweat the ambient temperature light.  I would try to get moderate ambient light levels.  Then I'd get a lamp Solux 4700 K look at one or a few Philips 5000 K fluorescent fixtures to view your prints.  Try to adjust the intensity of the light falling on a white sheet to be the same approximate brightness as a white document displayed in Photoshop.  They should be relatively close.  Personally, I like to calibrate my monitor 5200K, 2.2 gamma and 90cd/m2.  Works for me.

  • Canon 6 d light leak problem?

Anyone has any idea what this is all about?

    https://www.Facebook.com/photo.php?v=10153703965930366

Here is a timelapse I did today with my 6 d but obviously something is not majorly. Should I send it to Canon? Someone at - it a similar problem?

Normally, whenever your eye does not cover the viewfinder, you would cover the viewfinder to prevent light leaks through the pentaprism.  Canon usually provides a small rubber plug that you attach to the Canon neck strap.  Remove you the eyecup and slide the CAP in its place (press the sides where the eyecup has rubber grip ridges and drag upwards - some of my organs, you don't have to press, he'll just slide up - but I don't own a 6 d).

But I was reading the comments on your post facebook - if I understand, you said the following:

    • you get the problem with three different lenses - probably isn't a matter of lenses
    • you have tried to completely cover the camera to block all light - it probably not leak in the viewfinder (btw, even if it was a leak through the viewfinder, which is not a default... all SLR cameras can do and that's why they give you the viewfinder cover.)

You also showed a photo of the inside of the camera... you mentioned something about 'Hung', but unfortunately the shot was blurry, I couldn't see what was "hanging down.

I can tell you that this is certainly NOT the shutter.  The camera has a shutter of focal plane with two "curtains" that move vertically.  If a trigger bit you had notice suddenly was unevenly lit being very dark everything at the top or at the bottom of the image ("Curtain" service is experiencing a problem) - but your question is a bright spot about 3/4 of the way on the right side and ends in.

It could be something to "hang" and catch a reflection which at this place.

On the inside of the camera, there is a replaceable glass by the user above the mirror.  When you use the viewfinder, the mirror is in position 'low '.  In this position, the light is bounced upward and on the frosted glass (you can view this as a rear projection screen.  When you look through the viewfinder of the camera, you actually see the frosted glass.

The frosted glass is a framework or a tray that is hinged at the rear.  Normally that hinge never moves (the only time where it would move is when you open it to swap the glass.)  If the bin is not completely closed, it is possible the mirror isn't entirely swing clear (it would hit the status bar that keeps the screen in place.)

Before going further, it's easy to scratch the ground glass and since it is a textured surface (for example, the frosted glass) it is important that you do NOT touch.  Canon actually provides a tiny tool when you buy a replacement screen so that you can open and close the drawer share screens - all of this without ever touching the screen (it looks like a pair of tweezers with a hook on the end).   Canon has replacement with different options screens, and models as well as original replacement screens if you damage your (they cost about $30).

It may be wiser to watch a video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YNwOr3g9gzA

I used this video because it is for a 6 d specifically.  But the process is the same on many other models with CELS replaceable - so if you don't see it enough in detail, just look for other videos on how to share a screen of the development of the Canon.  While the screens are not the same between models, the basic concept of this image that keeps the screen is the same.

BTW... does not by showing how to swap the screen up to 4 minutes into this video, in case you want to fast forward.

I heard of cases where the screen update tray was not completely closed and it makes a bit of a problem.  The good news is that it is a remedy very simple just close the door.  It snaps closed.  The tab in the top-center is the output of the gate.  Normally to open the door you gently pull the tab toward you (you pull it gently) and it releases the tray so that it can swing down.    Once again... Avoid touching the screen with your fingers.  In the absense of the right tool, a Lint of _very_ clean cloth can be used.  Just push the status bar (do not press the screen... just the edge where you see the tab) until you hear a click in.

  • Blue channel usually worse, due to the chip. But why?

Hi, I have another fundamental question, thanks for reading.

Using Photoshop for many years, I learned that it's usually the blue channel that shows the most noise in an RGB image. I think the best way is usually green, followed by red. Similarly, the human eye is better suited for a green world (plants) with the addition of red (fruit) at a relatively late stage in evolution. Blue isn't that therfore important, it isn't so bad when the blue layer is worse than the other two. Correct so far?

Now the question is, why not make the chip just as good for all channels? Is it cheaper to do some bad, blue, that the three parties just as good? I guess that's the sensors causing the difference it quality. It's a question of costs, all channels would be equal in quality theoretically?

    Thanks for your advice!

Just raise the sensors (leaving aside the lossy compression and JPEG):

They make the chip out of everything as good.  But there are a lot of factors in competition.

Silicon sensor is more sensitive in areas less sensitive to blue and green and red.  It is even more sensitive to infrared and needs a filter to reduce infrared to keep the image to the correct search (otherwise fire fate of magenta :-).

And the model of typical Bayer sensor has 2 green sensors for each red and blue: RGBG

This puts red and blue in a disadvantageous position, but the Red is more sensitive.

Fortunately, your eye is also less sensitive to blue, so the Silicon sensor ends work similar to the way that your eye doesn't.

You need exposure time, or a very different sensor for quality equal across all channels.

And, with the exception of scientific imaging, there is not much need.
