• Library panel is missing all of a sudden

  Hello

  Yesterday, I installed the update to Photoshop. I was happy that appeared a new feature like creative cloud 'libraries' but when I restared photoshop a few hours later, the feature disappeared suddenly. I can't find further back in my menu 'window' or panels. How can I solve this. I have re-installed photoshop several times, but this does not solve the problem.

  Normally, you should find your library on Windows-> libraries Panel.

  If not, you will need to check under help (windows) If you are connected (it is a requirement for this function). To get all the default settings test the steps down.

  1 reset preferences:

  A: If a tool is behaving erratically, first try to reset just preferences tools, through the method described by Len Hewitt in the post below this one.

  If you have bigger problems, hold down Alt, Ctrl, and shift keys (Mac: command, Option, Shift) while starting up of Photoshop. A dialog box appears for you whether you want to delete the preferences/settings file. (How to remove/reset the Photoshop preferences)

  2 try renaming the oobe and rerun the PS CC 2014.2:

  • Mac OS: Application Support/Adobe/OOBE and rename it OOBE.old.
  • Windows: Rename the following folders to OOBE in OOBE.old:
    • \Program files (x 86) \Common Files\Adobe\OOBE
    • \Users\\AppData\Local\Adobe\OOBE

• Analytical data is missing all of a sudden.

  When I check my data, it is absent. Worked until Sunday.  I have change my Beach and updated to update a few times and it's a step to go. Still cannot display contained views etc. Any idea what the deal is?

• HP Officejet Pro 8600 has all of a sudden is not recognized by only my computer at home

  Hi, I have 4 laptops in my house. We have all been connected wireless to my HP printer for over a year. All of a sudden, for some reason, my computer no longer sees the printer. I have an ASUS. I run Windows 7 with the Windows Firewall. My router is a Linksys EA3500 age of 3 months. I can print from each another printer at home, and I can also print from my Android phone. However, when I try to print from my laptop, he says now that it detects a printer has been turned off.  I did everything that I can think of to fix this. The only changes that I had recently installed program AV of Webroot. I can't be 100% certain, but I'm sure that I printed from this facility, and all the other computers on my network use Webroot as well without any problems. Hoping for help. Here's what I've done so far:

  1. Tried troubleshooting printer via the computer. He went through control of the coil and all service that the standard troubleshooting only. It says something about my printer is off. It certainly wasn't, but I unplugged and rebooted just to be sure. No solution.
  2. Noticed the IP has changed on the printer and thought that maybe something with dynamic vs static (don't know much about it) so went to 'update IP address' on my laptop and updated info. Checked the info of the router settings by entering the IP address of the printer in the browser. Printer shows connected and ready and everything seems good. I ping the ip with the results. Mac filtering is not enabled, so I don't need to deal with this. SSID is not hidden. 802.11 configuration indicates that the network type is WPA - PSK WPA2 with AES selected for encryption. As always, it has been.
  3. Double checked to make sure printer was recognizable by my firewall. It is on the accepted list.
  4. Last resort: I uninstalled the printer software and removed the device from my laptop. Attempt to reinstall, but when it gets to the part where it is supposed to search for the printer, it says cannot find. I enter the IP address of the printer and it does not always find. I enter the host name, and it does not always find. As I uninstalled it, I can no longer install the printer at all.
  5. Then to airline pilots and I tried using the installation via the online option. same results. "Cannot find the printer.
  6. I unpugged the printer from the wall, again, this time for more than an hour, hoping that it would reset, but visiting this probabaly account is not the problem since any other laptop can print in my house.
  7. Tried to plug in the ethernet cable and the printer this way. Plugged one end router and another printer according to the instructions of troubleshooting tips. Software disc and it does not install the printer. Change IP address on the printer when I use ethernet and I entered new ip accordingly.
  8. Reset my modem and rebooted. Resetting my router and then used software to reconfigure. do you have the standard "wait ten seconds and a plug in back and restart the computer". No solution.
  9. Check my network wireless adapter setting to make sure that I have more updated drivers. Yes.
  10. Delete everything that relates to my printer in each folder and in regedit.
  11. Tried to reinstall printer wireless both with ethernet. Unable to find the printer so be it.

  I haven't changed any settings I can think of since the last printer worked a few weeks ago. As I said, all other computers print perfectly. The only thing I can think of that is different is all oher laptops running Windows 8 and I am always on 7, but it's not serious before, and I can print from the HP printer on my phone software.

  I put a static IP address on my printer to 192.168.1.3. After several attempts to install the printer I just couldn't. I decided to run combofix and after that and a reboot I was able to install the printer successfully. Everything went as it should work. IP address is. I thought I was finally going to solve this problem. Then, I hit print a document and it doesn't have same queue in the printer.  I remembered that I read on how you need to go to the printer properties and make sure that the printer is on the TCIP port with the IP address. That was the problem. He had the bad IP. I changed the IP of what I changed to manually and voila. I print again.

  I think everything that happened during the changed dynamic configuration ip 192.168.1.110. I don't understand why all Win8 computers in my house didn't get affected, but I'm just glad that affecting an address static IP did the trick. It has been weeks since I've heard this thud hit sound of my printer from my computer.

  I work with multilayer files in photophop CS6 creating composite photograph.  All of a sudden, I can't open the PNG files.  I get a message that the file cannot be found when I try to open it.  Can someone help me please?

  A quick search on Google turned up the news I knew vaguely.

  PNGs in layers are only produced by Macromedia (later Adobe Fireworks more) using a proprietary format that has never been publicly documented.  Thus, it seems that only Adobe Fireworks can open the png with the layers intact. Whether or not you can export these layers in another file format and to open in another application with everything intact seems to be up in the air.

  Fire of artifice is not updated anymore and it seems that Adobe doesn't have a plan for png supports layers and the proprietary format is removed.

  Some people seek to affinity as a possible replacement for Photoshop.

  However to quote some comments from their FAQ:

  FAQ - fireworks in layers of PNG and TIFF files in layers

  Since this question comes up often, I write a definitive statement.

  Files PNG Fireworks (layers)

  There is no such thing as "layered PNG.  The standard PNG does not define a way to store diapers and only deals with flattened images.

  Fireworks saves the data of the extra layer of PNG files in a proprietary format with a private label. A definition for this exclusive data has never been made public.  Saved by Fireworks PNG still usable as a flattened image of any application able to handle PNG files.  These applications will maintain the standard data and ignore the proprietary data of fireworks.

  Affinity maintains the standard PNG files.  But it cannot import or export data from the layer by using the method of fireworks.

  There is no hope that we will always be able to manage the data layer from Fireworks PNG files.

  We recognize that being able to handle Fireworks PNG files would be very useful for users of affinity.  If a public definition of the format of data become available, we will be able to address the issue.

  Layered TIFF files

  There is no such thing as "layered TIFF.  The TIFF standard handles only images flattened under the tags described to the public.

  TIFF allows businesses to record any additional tags for their own use. Adobe has recorded two private TIFF tags that allow them to incorporate the layer data in a TIFF file.  These tags are an extension and are not part of the standard TIFF Central.  These tags are used to integrate data layer PSD into a TIFF image, in addition to the standard rasterized image.

  Since affinity has a PSD importer, we are able to import data from the layer of a TIFF file if it has these tags.  However, given that this is handled by our PSD importer that is subject to the restrictions as standard PSD Import in affinity.  We clearly that while we aim to provide the best third party support PSD, we can never replicate 100% the way Photoshop deals and displays a PSD file.  Photoshop has its own approach to apply the transparency/alpha, vector and features of vector, layer effects and gradient masks.  This means that although we can offer the importation of what can be changed to a PSD file, the result will not be a reproduction of a one pixel that you see in Photoshop.

  We recorded our own TIFF tags for the incorporation of the data layer of affinity in a TIFF file, in a similar way to the data layer PSD. This is intended for the dams that use TIFF as their Exchange format.  When you save a TIFF file, you are given the option to include data of layer affinity.  This will help keep the editable document of several layer elements.  This obviously comes at a cost of increased size.  Our TIFF labels will use our format proprietary data and as such, cannot be used by the applications of affinity.

  I solved the problem by downloading the PDF-Xchange

  So far, it just seems to work. I don't have the time to tech stuff in programs that should work. If a delete and reinstall fresh does not solve the problem, there is that a user must have to face bigger problems. Maybe it's my computer and no lack of Adobe, either I have things to do and is not tech solve the recalcitrant programs.

  I used Adobe Reader with comments and other features with great success for years. I didn't have a problem until they "improved" program. All I got is worsening since the terrible day I authorized Adobe Reader DC load on my machine.

  I'm on a PC (a core I7 8, 64 GB RAM, video card two, RAID, one striped), user of long date Pr (expert cert), decent EI, and all of a sudden I can't export a simple title of moving text to a Pr project with a transparent background.   I tried them all, and each parameter-Quicktime, AVI, RGB + Alpha, millions of colors, watched all the videos and read all the reviews I could find and nothing works.   What Miss me?

  It seems that the problem has been duplicated Pr plug-ins in the common folder. Of course, Pr had no problem with them, Ae not so much.   Even if they were not Ae plug-ins. And I do not use them in pr. and they have nothing to do with transparency. Uncorrupted plug ins, but two of these plug-ins.   Dangerous substance, that is, to have two of the same thing on our computers.  Robustness definition, once again, well done Adobe.

  • The sites load correctly when you try to access them in a web browser.
  • The thing that all these sites have in common is that they use the SilverStripe content management system.

  • I have used SilverStripe on my sites for more than a year and have never had this problem with BrowserLab until last week.

  • Other sites such as microsoft.com and bbc.co.uk load very well.

  We found the source of the problem - Silverstripe generates an incorrect HTTP header. The content-type header has the value of the character in quotes. For example,.

  content-type: text/xml; charset = "utf-8".

  is used when it should be

  content-type: text/xml; charset = utf-8

  Most modern browsers are lenient and allow the incorrect header, but BrowserLab was triggered upward by quotes. This problem surfaced recently, when BrowserLab added the ability to follow links on the screenshots. This feature we have to read and analyze the pages and you try to read a page with an unknown character caused an error to report.

  We have implemented a solution, which is to strip the quotes from the charset value. We anticipate that the fix will be deployed before the end of July.

  The problem can also be fixed if Silverstripe remove quotation marks from the content-type header.
