Because I can't imagine anyone other than someone who plays with just photos for social media actually use this mess of an APA.

  Please uncheck 'Show online storage when you save files' under ' Edit > Preferences > general.

  Then, to restart the player and try saving the file again.

  Thank you for posting the screenshot. On Mac, you can see the current app name in the menu bar, just after the Apple. Please check. I think you'll find you do not run Acrobat Pro at all, but you use the free Adobe Reader software. Quit the player and start Acrobat Pro from Applications.
