• Qosmio F30-117: Impossible to establish FTP connections

  I have a Qosmio F30-117, windows XP, Norton Internet security.
  When I try to FTP to my site I get FTP connection failed.

  I tried it on a friends computer and the connection has been established the first time.
  When I joined my laptop to its broadband - no FTp connection. This eliminates at least my router.

  I tried to disbale parts of Norton Internet Security, without success.

  so if I were you I would completely disable the Norton software and make sure that the Windows Firewall is to leave you hollow. If not, you should check if your friend has put in place properly. If you want to test that your machine is able to connect via FTP, then go to www.kernel.org and enter an ftp address.

• Qosmio F30-117: A single HARD drive is recognized after upgrade to 120 GB

  I have a Qosmio F30-117 with 2 x 60 GB Toshiba hard drives installed. I want to switch to 2 x 120 GB HARD drive, but my Slot 1 does not recognize the HARD drive as being present. Slot 2 recognizes that a 120 GB HARD drive is present.

  This happens with two 120 GB hard drives installed in the two slots and when inverted as well. I don't use RAID so no mirroring happens.

  Any clues out there?

  I think that it is will not be problem.
  Try putting 2 HARD drive and then install a sistem.
  Otherwise, you can not lose a sistem on old first HDD, if you have a problem.

  Hello! I bought a Qosmio F30-117 earlier and it started to freeze. I get to the computer desk-very good, then it completely freezes and I have to remove the power cord and the battery to restart, then it usually loads fine.

• Qosmio F30-117: after upgarde to Vista - no sound

  I have improved my Qosmio F30-117 to Windows Vista with a clean install.

  I downloaded all the drivers from Toshiba for Vista website, including audio drivers.

  But I have no sound, everything else works fine. I verify that it is not cut.

  Sound driver details are: Sigma Tel High Definition Audio CODEC - version date 040407: 6.10.5462.0

  Its worked before upgrade.

  What did I miss?

  I could be possible that this may happen because the sound has cut out Windows XP before Windows Vista was installed.

  I work with first CS6. in my CS6-Projekt I imported an AVCDH Clip of my Panasonic HDC-TM700. An AVCHD Clip from a Canon camera, I had stabilized a color corrected and the new blocks to a H.264, HD1080i25.mp4 and also imported for my project. When I take this Clips to my timeline, I have red and green frames on my Panasonic AVCHD-original file. When I made this file I also have red a green frames in the new file.

  271 MB shared system memory

  However my G40-108 has a NVIDIA GeForce 8600 M GT type graphics card. WIE only gives a score of graphics of * 4.4 based on the following information:

  1791 MB total available graphics memory
  512 MB dedicated graphics memory
  0 MB dedicated system memory
  1279 MB shared system memory

  Someone knows why? The two PCs have the latest drivers and all the Windows updates available. Both are running Vista Ultimate. If something I expect the scores to be the other way around!

  Both my red light and green light are on and printer has stopped working.  What, on the contrary, do in addition to become another printer? When I press red light nothing happens.
