Fields to fill blue gradient

I can remove the shading on the fields to fill in, save the change, but when other users open the file, the field is still blue. I do not want the blue gradient fields when the user opens the file. How can I solve this problem? I use Adobe Reader X and Adobe Pro X, edit > Preferences > forms > active highlight color / turns off the color on or off. The change affects my forms but not the view of the user of the same form.

Glad I could help.

Make sure that you mark the correct answer.

Thank you.

    Hi all!

    This is my first post in the forum of fireworks. Also, this is the first time I'm using Fireworks 8. It's a bit like Photoshop and Photoshop, I can do a fill with a custom pattern by creating a template and do a 'use as motive' and selecting this model and do a fill with it using the bucket fill and then by selecting the model, and fill with a gradient (such as blue-white)

    I'm trying to do the same thing with Fireworks 8, but I don't know how. First of all, I created the template in a file separated and saved as a PNG image then in Fireworks, bucket filling (not degraded bucket) on model and then click 'Other' and opened upward model that I created and I filled the area that I wanted to. Now, this is the part that I can't figure out how to do. My boss is points spaced with 1 pixel between each point. I want their gradient fill and I can not blend them. Any help? Thank you

    Hi all!

    In fact I just understand how do.

    Once I made the filling inside the Rectangle, I flattened selection, took the magic wand to select and did a reverse selection filled with gradient with the color I wanted and I checked in the properties of the gradient tool marked "selection of filling" and it worked. I don't know if there is an easier way to do it, but that's how I thought of it.

  • Adding fields to fill-able to multiple pages, multiple documents?

    I work in a disciplinary school where we produce and distribute the schedule of courses for incoming students by using PDF (we have a database online that extracts the relevant data, and then generates a PDF file with a page for each student). Due to the need for internal follow-up, he must add information to each PDF page which varies per student. As a quick and dirty workaround, we've been copy - paste it into a text box on each page which is then manually edited. It of OK, but will not be enough in the long term (seems not professional, pasted cells change their position, etc.).  In this context, for now I'm just looking for pointers to a reasonably effective solution that I can research. In fact, I'm looking for a quick way to, on no matter what PDF, add something like:

    Date of the contribution:

    Assigned days:
    Release date

    and so forth, with the editable fields to follow different descriptors. Ideally, our receptionist could open a calendar PDF in Acrobat Pro XI add shape to all the pages in the PDF file, and it could go through and add information to different fields for each student, save, then e-mail.

    As you can tell, perhaps, to the point that I'm stuck on that moment is what would be the best way to achieve this. A stamp? A macro that creates fields to fill? etc. So, your advice on what you see as less complicated approach is welcome.

    This can be done very easily by using a script. The developer would just set the locations (as well as other properties, such as the fonts, size text, fill color, border style, etc.) fields, then write a loop that adds a unique on each field version (so that they don't have the same values).

    If you are interested in hiring someone to this develop for you, do not hesitate to contact me privately.

  • Cannot configure the fields to fill in Mode "to prepare the form." Please help :)

    Hello Adobe community.

    Here is a video link to explain my problem, there is also some text below explaining my problem too:

    Questions of implementation of the fields to fill in Adobe Acrobat.webm - Google Drive

    Last week I published a PDF file in Acrobat and added to fill fields... everything worked very well.

    This week, I'm doing the same thing.

    -J' open the PDF file in Adobe Acrobat (CC)

    -I'm going to "prepare the form."

    -J' I 'add a text field.

    * Now at this stage, everything worked fine. But now... I add the text field and I can't change it at all. I can't resize the text box, select it, nothing. I can even add a default in its properties, and nothing will be displayed. What is going on? I tried troubleshooting this online and I can't find an answer. In addition, I just did this last week, so I know it's possible lol.

    Any help would be greatly appreciated

    It is a strange...

    First of all, thanks for the video, it's so much easier to understand what is happening when I see how things do not work.

    From what I see, I guess that it is something that is specific to this particular document. Have you tried to add form fields to a whole new document? You can do by ensuring that no other document is open in Acrobat, then Cmd-Shift-T to create a new document with a blank page in it. Now select Tools > prepared form - because this is a new document that was never recorded, Acrobat invites you to save it. Once registered, try to add a form field. It work? The form field is the way that you expect it to behave?

    If this isn't the case, then it is very likely that there is something wrong with the installation of Acrobat. The first thing I would try is to select help > check updates, make sure that you are running the latest version of Acrobat DC. If this does not help, I uninstall Acrobat and install again a new download. You can download Acrobat here: download Pro or Standard versions of Acrobat DC, XI or X

    If the problem is specific to your document, we will know why this is. It is possible that the document is corrupt. There are several ways you can try to recover from some alterations: the first thing I would try is to do a "save under" to save a new file name. Does it work or you get an error message? If you can save as a new file, the new file shows the same problems? If so, then try to extract just one page in a new document. To do this, open the thumbnail on the left, then select the page, right-click and select Extract page. This sill to create a new document with just one page in there, save it and try again.

    If you are still not able to add form fields that behave properly, it gets a bit more complex. How was the file created? Application used to create the original file and what application was used to save the file as a PDF file? Would you be able to share this file?

  • How to change the size of text in the fields to fill?

    Please let me know how change the size of text in the fields to fill?

    Hey Swan, laken59599864

    It is not possible to change anything in the PDF with Adobe Reader.

    You may need to open the PDF with Adobe Acrobat and choose "tools > forms > edit ' and double-click on a text field to view its properties. Click on the appearance tab, and then change the font size as you wish.

    Hope this is useful.

    Kind regards

  • Why is the contents of a field to fill in missing?

    I enter data into the fields to fill and save the document in pdf format. I sent it to someone who opens with an iPhone or iPad and the content of the field is not visible.

    Hello

    Did you send your form as an attachment to e-mail?

    It is highly unlikely that the e-mail recipient opened your PDF form in Apple Mail on an iPhone or an iPad.

    Please note that overview of Apple Mail doesn't show data form or annotations (Sticky Notes, highlighting, Freehand, drawing, etc.) in a PDF document.  This is the limit in Apple Mail, iBooks, and Safari.

    You can request the email recipient to install Adobe Reader for iOS and use the function "open" to open it in Adobe Reader.

    Please take a look at the section of the FAQ documents for instructions on how to use 'open '.

    Please let us know if you have any additional questions.

  • How to stop the message "this file contains form fields to fill out" to appear?

    Hello

    I have created a PDF file, but seen in Acrobat Reader displays a message at the top of the screen "this file contains form fields to fill live... »

    How can I stop this message from appearing automatically?

    PS, The original PDF has no form fields.

    If the document has a lot of buttons, this is probably the reason. If you have Acrobat, you can apply the security of the password and set restrictions so that filling form is not allowed. This will prevent the message appears.

  • What are the security settings to lock a form with fields to fill and still allow someone drive to fill in the fields as as to save the form and print it?

    What are the security settings to lock a form with fields to fill and still allow someone drive to fill in the fields as as to save the form and print it?

    You want to allow someone to open your document and fill in the form (the fields that you have created), but not change or edit the form, right? Here is the answer - assuming you use Acrobat Pro and someone will open the PDF with the Acrobat Reader 9 minimum and more:

    Tools > Protection > encrypt< encrypt="" with="">

    Select YES to change security.

    Opens in a new window:

    Do not select NOT open the Document (or will require a password to open the document.)

    SELECT: Permissions (check the box next to ' Restrict editing and printing of the document. ")

    Change the following 2 settings in the drop-down list box:

    Printing allowed: select high resolution

    Changes allowed: select commenting on, fill in the fields on the form and signature of signature fields
    Selected leave: "enable access text for playback devices to screen for people with visual impairments.

    Change password Permissions (insert a password)

    Leave all the other settings alone in 'Options '.

    OK - OK

    Again enter the Permissions password (the one you entered above)

    OK - OK

    Save the PDF file to apply security [notice that (SECURED0 will appear after the title of the document]

  • How to keep the field of filling with default numbers?

    It's hard to describe my question why I've included a screenshot of what I'm working on. In the third column, there is a calculation in the properties of each field to take the number of the field to the left of it (in the middle column) and subtract the number filled in the field everything up (in the middle column). Trying to figure out how to make the numbers in the right column that have not yet been calculated to display a default value (-$ 10,000). I'd rather not see anything until the it's supposed to calculate fields are filled. Or even showing zeros would be better. Is there a solution for this?

    Thank you very much for your time and help!Screen Shot 2014-12-21 at 4.21.48 PM.png

    You must use a custom calculation script which first checks that the two fields are filled in before applying the calculation. It may look like this (of course, set the names of the fields in the first two lines to match those of your file):

    var v1 = this.getField("Field1").valueAsString;
    var v2 = this.getField("Field2").valueAsString;
    if (v1=="" || v2=="") event.value = "";
    else event.value = Number(v1) - Number(v2);

  • Can layers cause fields to fill?

    I imported a layer of a PDF of XI.  The layer contains the fields to fill.  When I show the layer, the fields all seem to be read-only.

    Is there a way to activate the layer so the user can fill in the fields?

    When you use 'import as layer' anything interactive on the source THAT PDF is flattened, then form fields, links etc. are removed.

    You will need the form fields on the original document into which you import the layer. You can copy and paste between files form fields, but there are limits (for example, you cannot copy/paste of an XFA form).

  • Validate required fields are filled

    I have the job of JavaScript to validate that the required fields are filled. Although emphasis is placed on the field properly, continuous script showing all error messages one after another, forcing the user to click OK on each one until they can fill in the field.

    I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong.

    Hello

    Do you have empty messages to display all of the required fields are not filled and call the validation script before you submit it then, he would show all alerts for the left the fields one by one. It becomes boring.

    Alternatively you can proceed as follows.

    -Wrap the fields within a subform. It depends on you subforms how do you want to sue.

    -In the validation script, you can call each posting of a subform. For example, you can call validation script of the subform-1 which has a lot of areas. If something is leftout then it show error this subform only. After that, if the validation then convinces the validation of the second subform script runs. So it would show alerts one by one, rather than a boring way.

    For ex:

    If (form1. Page1.Page1_subform1.execValidate ())
    {
    If (form1. Page1.Page1_subform2.execValidate ())
    {
    If (form1. Page1.Page1_subform3.execValidate ())
    {
    If (form1. Page3.Pag3_subform1.execValidate ())
    {
    }
    }
    }

    }

    on the other
    {

    }

    Thank you

  • Hide an option button when a text field is filled?

    Hello

    I was wondering if someone could help with this.  I want to set up a form for a radio button is disabled when a field is filled in.

    I tried a simple Action (show/hide a field), but I would like the user to be able to change your mind - so if they begin to enter the field of information and then delete, they can always select Yes or not later.

    I hope I'm explaining this well.  I read through the discussions and the acticle of Thom Parker, but I am sorry to say that because I don't know Javascript, it is completely over my head.

    Any help would be greatly appreciated!

    Thank you.

    If you want the buttons radio is available that when the text field is empty and inactive when the text field is not empty, you can use the validation script customized for the text field:

    // Custom Validate script
    (function () {

        // Reset the radio button field
        var f = getField("rb1");
        resetForm([f.name]);

        // Set the readonly property based on this field's value
        f.readonly = event.value;

    })();

    Replace "rb1' with the actual name of the option buttons.

  • Make the form read-only if a field is filled

    Is there a way to do an entire form read-only if a certain text field is filled?  I know that adding a digital signature to a form field, increases the size of the screen, so I prefer not to add a digital signature field in my form.  However, I would like the feature that says after the form is signed, it is read-only.  I have added a text box to the form and tried to add a script that read: if (this.rawValue! = "") (this.access = "readOnly"), but it did not work.  Is there a way I can accomplish this without adding a signature to the form field?

    Hello

    It depends on where you have placed the script, probably the best place is the exit event.

    if (this.rawValue != null || this.rawValue != "")
    {
         this.access = "readOnly";
    }
    else
    {
         this.access = "open";
    }

    It blocks only the field that the script is inside.

    You should check the example of Paul LockAllFields, which contains a function in a script object. Whereas Paul calls it a click to a button event, you could call it the output of the particular text field event.
